Wuse struggles his way up the debris apparently not that as stable as most dwarves. He looks quite hilarious.

Where is this creature of which you speak, my friend?
Talor pauses on the slope, next to Astarton, to draw his pistol.

"That! Up there! Watch out! Astarton shouts and points, hoping they will all be ready by the time it pounces. It was an ugly thing, with long sharp teeth and pallid flesh stretched over its starved frame. "It looks hungry!

The creature leaps down from it's perch and addresses you all in common. “How long will it take you all to cure, I wonder? You seem so full of life, and I am oh so hungry.” The creature has not yet attacked.

"“Friends, it is I, Maurit Zergo, a Pathfinder as well, even in this horrid form. I can help you, if you will take the help of someone as damned as I.” She almost seems normal and living for a second, but soon shambles back to her crooked slouch.
She seems to be honest, both about her hunger and about her desire to help. She is a conflicted creature, switching between two extremes. It seems the pathfinder is stronger than the ghoul at present, though for how long is uncertain.

Wuse eyes this Maurit Zergo quite unsure of what to do. She's apparently still aware and sentient, but who's going to turn their back on someone who speaks of our lives with drooling chops. Oh man It's making me drool...Maybe I'll just have a drink. Then reaches back with the hand not holding a rock to snag his giant water-skin and pull a drag of fine mead.

But you have to face it - the hunger inside you is eternal. It will never stop. Are we the first people you've encountered in your... condition? If your spirit is strong enough to resist the undeath curse, you must try to stay away from sentient creatures and feed on animals."

"Inside? You will find kobolds. Yes, kobolds. Not so rich as you all, but kobolds still. And a man creature, who's colors shift and change, blend into the surroundings, wielding a tian weapon of green stone. And many, many papers, Kelish writing. They are scattered." As she speaks, she sketches out a map of the building on the canyon wall. "Strange well, makes lot's of wind is here, and here is where shifting man is. I can even show you another way in, a collapsed tunnel. Would you like that?"
I've marked the windy well and the kobold lair on the map.

Wuse searches the rubble for suitable throwing rocks pileing them in his left arm. He keeps one in his right ready to attack.

Perhaps I should follow next. I, too, can see in the darkness, and my pistol does not have a great range. Of course, I will do what I must if anyone more heavily armored prefers to stand closer to the front. I promise to aim carefully.

Armor, oh man that reminds me of my good friend ummm.... what was his name. Fancy wizard fellow, but boy could he hold his whiskey. He used to cast this spell on me that would make me near invincible when we stirred it up at the tavern. Do any of you have something that might help do the same? Since were about to go into a den of kobolds after all. I sure hope they have a bar set-up down there. What do kobolds drink anyways..... Wuse trails off as if contemplating something momentous.

Speaking of which, I am having trouble getting the map to display correctly. It worked fine at first, but for some reason when we moved inside I stopped being able to see the tokens - I just have a zoomed-in view of a piece of the dungeon. Could just be this crappy computer. Anyone else with difficulty?

it does not work well for internet explorer.
..and we have our culprit (thanks again, Bill, you ass; and thanks in seriousness, Jericho). I use chrome @ home, so I should be able to move in the evenings. Until then, let's just assume I'm up close to the front group.

GM Xzaral |

With Internet Explorer, you need the Chrome Frame thingy to get it to display right. I personally use internet explorer and did have issues until I installed it. At work, between out of date version and no Chrome Frame, I can't see it at all really, but home I see it fine.
Google Chrome works perfectly fine though.
