I was going to make you folks wait out the weekend, but I'm too nice for that. After much deliberation and gnashing of teeth, I have decided that the party will consist of the following individuals. Please do not feel that if you didn't get chosen, your submission was somehow 'wrong' or bad. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, all of the submissions were very good and well-done, but I had to narrow it down to six. In the end, I chose the group that I think has the best dynamic and the best chance of success for all of these adventures. There were several "ties" that needed to be broken in order to make the final cut. Role-playing prior to the choosing had zero effect on my decisions. In fact, I never even read the Discussion thread. Everyone was considered, even the latecomers.
You will have to wait until Monday for me to kick things off, however, as I have a very busy weekend (you will find that I rarely post on weekends). If my posting seems a little slow, please understand that I serve as my wife's "eyes," because she has glaucoma and is 90% blind. We also do a lot of work for a local convention throughout the year; going to other cons, meetings, etc. I will try to check in at least once a day and will try to post (when appropriate) at least every other day, though I may not always make that schedule. As I said, my weekends tend to be hectic, so don't expect a lot of posts from me then.
If I am going to be gone for an extended period (such as my trip to Walt Disney World in December), I will try to let you know up front.
Okay, so I've rambled on long enough. The "chosen few" are, in no particular order:
Aotor Shieldsmythe (eakratz)
Thadal Farkasten (Eggellis)
Raddosric (Chobo)
Isinghar Thorden (Rhemus Frayne)
Terry of Dianrift (hustonj)
Rudrik Halvar (Jesse Heinig)
I will be on Monday to open the Gameplay board and kick things off. Thank you to everyone who applied, it's nice to feel that Greyhawk love.

There will be time for crafting during the campaign at the outset. As you progress, the opportunities will come less and less, as time will become of the essence. In the later adventures, you will be disconnected from civilization for long periods of time.
Starting with crafted items is okay since your crafting is pretty much limited to potions and scrolls.
