With the plan in place, Ghost activates the secret door. Almost immediately, MINOTAR and Straightjacket go into action, catching the two guards in a state of semi-surprise. Straightjacket manages to wrap his foe up, while MINOTAR finds the ancient armor of his opponent quite effective against his blows.

The grappled samurai brings his sword to bear, slashing at Straightjacket's rubbery body (Dodge DC 14 or DC 21 damage).

Ghost, meanwhile, pushes past the melee (the quarters in here are VERY tight) to open the door opposite the secret door. Anyone trying to slip by will need to use Acrobatics (DC 20). Failure means that you cannot find an opening.

MINOTAR and any party members trying to get through are up!

Sorry guys, it was a bad week.

Given that Ghost is invisible, you are not in combat, and the samurai are watching the door, I'm going to rule that Ghost can easily position himself and arrange to zap the samurai without an attack roll.

The door beyond the fallen samurai leads to a corridor going right, left, and straight ahead and ghost confirms that your objective lies straight. You follow his directions until you come to a large room, decorated with heavy tapestries. At the center of the room sits Yooso, looking smug. Next to him, chained at the wrists and ankles, are John Yamashito and Yusari Yamashito. Before Yooso stands another samurai, who looks far more competent than the minions that you have faced so far (Shogun). Beside and behind him are an Asian woman in a kimono (Tsunami), an Asian man in a kimono and carrying a staff (Raiden), and an Asian(?) scaled man in armor (Komodo Dragon).

Before you can react, Yooso laughs loudly and speaks, "Ah, you superheroes are more like super-fools! Right from the first time we met I had you convinced that I was sincere in wanting to protect Yamashito. Actually, it was quite the contrary. I used the old fool like a pawn, as you too were used. Pawns utilized for just, one reason... to capture John Yamashito. You see, l am a member of the Dragon‘s Claw High Council and we on the Council saw the boy's desire for wealth and power from the beginning. Of course, he made claims of being honorable, but he is as good a liar as he is a businessman. Twice since coming to America, Yamashito Electronics has almost collapsed under his control. This decline was never revealed to the public as his foolish father always bailed out his equally stupid son. For his crimes against the Claw, I will return him to Japan, where he will pay!"

Yusari Yamashito pleads, "Please do not harm my son, I will..."

"Silence, old man!" Yooso snaps back. "The fool deserves such a fate."

At this point, Yooso claps twice and four ninjas step out from behind the tapestries, as four more drop from the ceiling behind you to block the door.

Ninja 2 swings at Ghost, who instinctively goes intangible, letting the blade pass through him. Similarly, the lightning bolt thrown by Raiden passes through his immaterial figure. The forked bolt is also aimed at Coldwar. Dodge DC 16 or DC 31 Damage!
