Being a sesheyan shouldn't be much more difficult than any other alien. Yes, VoidCorp claims ownership, but that doesn't mean that all Sesheyans willingly submit. And many have earned their freedom as independents. Also, don't forget that you're in the Verge. VoidCorp doesn't have as much say here as they might like out here. In general, I predict few problems (other than the occasional VoidCorp citizen looking down on you).

A Seshayan was my other choice, I love those things. I used to have a lot of the old Ecology articles from Dragon (I think they also gave D&D stats for at least some of them), wish I'd hung onto them.
With a catfolk and a Weren though I'm glad I went with something a little more human-shaped. otherwise it would just be Lincoln and the menagerie.
Hmmm, seem so I was leaning towards a T'sa, but with the GM saying that Seshayens are gtg, hmmmm.
I am working on getting my Hero Lab License to have access to the Alternity stuff, so I can crank my character out on it. I should definitely have a character posted tonight or tomorrow. You guys are in the middle of a talky talky encounter anyways.

Choraak will be a Sesheyan Tech Op.
He will focus, largely on DEX and INT skills. Specifically, on the DEX side is Acrobatics and Pistols, and on the INT side Demolitions and Medical Science.
In short, Choraak likes fixing things and breaking things.
If my assistance is needed on some shipboard chores, I could take a Systems Operations skill, or similar.

As I understand it, we're rolling for starting cash, so I get 10 times the following...
Cash: 5d8 ⇒ (1, 5, 8, 8, 4) = 26
260 bucks
Well, I'll go ahead and dive down the rabbit hole of equipment and say that Choraak wears dark green fatigues, and a beret, since I very much like the picture above, even if that guy has 6 too few eyes to be a sesheyan.
I will assume the fatigues, with pockets and such are his base clothing, and thus free. They leave his wings uncovered.
$25 - I am definitely buying a pair of gailghe, the protective goggles that sesheyans wear to protect their many eyes from the unhealthy bright light that the humans love so much.
$100 - Medcare One First Aid Kit
$35 - Combat knife
That leaves me only $100. What did I miss? How did you guys get armor and blasters? Poor me, just a low tech Sesheyan! I will have to pick from the scraps of our enemies as we go.

It takes 11 hours for a signal to reach another system via drivespace satellite communications.
I will point out that not all systems even have drivesats, and thus are not reachable that way. electronic traffic to those systems is carried by data merchants.
The Lighthouse carries drivesats, so when it comes to a "dark" system, suddenly that system can communicate way faster with the outside universe for at least a few days.

Corrections reapplied.
I only have Xenomedicine for Humans! This means I can't really use my medical skills on the other three of you, but while I could easily justify having needed it on humans, and possibly one other, I couldn't choose! So, at the next level, I suppose I'll spend some time reading the Anatomy books for your races, so I can help you as well.
Don't get hit before 2nd level if you're not human or sesheyan!

Just so everyone is aware; convention season is upon us again! I serve as the Game Operations Director (that is, the Director of the Game Room) at CoastCon, a local convention in 1.5 months, and this takes up a lot of my already pressed time. So if I am slow to update or respond, please bear with me and bot me as needed.

Has it been two weeks? No, we're still on if you guys are wanting to continue. I thought I posted the other day. Sorry. Just been extremely busy.

Sorry for going dark. I was waiting on someone to do something, then I got into con mode (the con was last weekend) and everything ground to a halt. We should be able to get back on track now.

As a head's up, I'm about to be out of town and without easy access to a computer for about 2 weeks -- basically, I'll be able to post Monday (13) and then not again 'til the 28th.
Generally, feel free to have Rrin suggest other sneaky, underhanded, strike-first, ambushy sort of things (or to fight in that style, as needed) while I'm gone.
