I got hit by a Semi this week, so my posting is going to be spotty, and probably at different times each day. Mostly, I'm just stiff and sore, and my arm's in a sling, so really, I got off pretty lucky. My car, not so much.

After I leave for work on August 3rd until August 7th in the evening my posting will be limited to non-existent due to gencon indy. Whether I get anything posted after I get back on the 7th or not I don't know. Bot me as needed during that time.

Jealous!! I won't be attending GenCon for a few years. Till my son is 5 or so and can enjoy some of it. ;)
So here's the situation.
I haven't been in a good place lately (again). My desktop computer has died due to a hard drive issue, and my one-year-old tablet has decided to stop working as well. This restricts me to posting on my phone, which is amazingly difficult due to a cracked screen and prohibitively slow loading times. I'm up against a deadline for job searching, I can barely afford to pay my bills, and the constant stress is leaving me pretty drained.
Right now, I'm at a friend's house posting this. I'll be around, and trying to post occasionally from my phone, but until Microsoft get me my replacement device, I'll be spotty at best.
Back on my computer. will take a day to get myself sorted.

Sounds good. I know things have slowed down due to GenCon, which actually came at a good time this year for us ;)
I think I owe everyone an explanation, and an apology.
In my circle of gamer friends, I'm known as the one with terrible luck. When I play at a PFS table, my dice conspire against me, seldom rolling above a 9. When someone gets sick, I always pick it up. If technological eff-ups happen, they're always to me. I'm the bad luck magnet that soaks the bad stuff so everyone else can be awesome and have a good time.
So it dismayed, but didn't surprise me when, shortly after getting my replacement tablet, my charger stopped working, and I had to wait for a replacement to arrive (and it was only through goodwill that I was able to get one).
Then I came down with sinusitis.
Then I had to start involuntary volunteer work to keep my welfare payments (remember, I'm unemployed [not for lack of trying], and the Australian job market is tanking).
Then I developed laryngitis.
It sounds ridiculous, but it's all true - and my friends would back me up and say it wouldn't happen to anyone but me!
The sinusitis has passed, and the laryngitis is on its way out (finally!). I'm hoping to return to my (ir)regularly-scheduled posting soon. I'm sorry for my radio silence, and I wish I could promise more regular posts, but... the simple fact is, I don't know *how* life's going to kick me next.
Jens, i am sorry to hear of the problems. But given time things should pick up.

The timing for the outage was actually somewhat fortunate. With GenCon just finishing, people were busy with that, and then with recovery (because who doesn't come away from a Con without some sort of Con-crud? ) from it. The group as a whole may slow down at times, but it's a good group.
Sorry it's been so long since I posted last on this one, the really slow speed makes it drop to the bottom of my list so I forget about it quickly. It also causes me to lose a lot of interest as well. Let's hope we can keep it moving.
I've started a new job that's murdering my energy levels, and I just don't have the focus to game anywhere near as much as I used to. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to drop this game.

We'll need to recruit one more, and per my normal stand when things like this happen, I'll give you all the first recruit/recommendation before I reach out to the public. I find that recruiting friends and people we know usually works out better.

Unfortunately, due to my life circumstances, I have to drop this game. It wasn't an easy decision to make, but it has to be done. Things are changing, and my commitments need to scale back. It's been fun while it lasted.

We got a LOT of response, so I figure we'll have someone onboard very soon. Strong candidates too.
Take a look at the submissions, I think we have a few good candidates. The Ranger Holdan, the Wizard Ortho, the Arcanist Ashnah, the Cleric Imesah and the Paladin Iolaire seem to me to be the strongest candidates.
What do you guys think? How about Rook?

I think my preferred one would be Ashnah Lialda (Viviana). She has a well detailed backstory and would bring a lot of utility to the group as a full arcane caster.
