Sorzar's aura would seem to shift, like sand being disturbed by a strong wind. He prepared himself, taking a slow and deep breath.

" I don't like that we can't see them behind their wall be prepared for anything especially since they likely have guns built into those umbrellas we should probably flank instead of head straight on. Onyxia will say softly to Sorzar.

"Well I don't think they will wait forever. First one down does chores of the one who takes out the first opponent for a week sound good?"

"Begin!" Glenda's voice echoes through the arena, and everyone freezes for just a split second before team SBOT erupts into action!

The only thing the group can tell is that the arena has suddenly gotten colder. Much, much colder. The umbrellas shielding team SBOT from seeing the other team faintly crackle as frost spreads across their surfaces.

Rime coating his breath, Beoh will sprint forward and the leap over the umbrella girls. Landing behind the Green girl, Be will shove her forward in an attempt to break their formation.

Her fingers drawing tracks into the ground, Tana rises from her position on the floor, kicking off the ground hard as she hurtles forward much faster than a girl her size has a right to. Picking on Parsley, she tries to angle her arms around the umbrella, pick the girl up and sweep her legs.

Fighting (+Grab Bonus/-Wound Penalty): 1d10 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 + 2 = 4

She gets an opposed fighting roll, if she can't beat that 9, she goes down and gets pinned. She can make another opposed fighting roll once a round to break free.

"Come on, Princess," Tana grunts, her arms straining as she grips the edge of Parsley's dress. "Fall down."

As the words left the professor's lips, Sorzar would split into two of himself. One would leap onto his back, kicking off and sailing over the group and giving a wink to Rosemary. At the same time, Mirage would roar to life and would come sailing in towards the distracted girl.

Agility Trick: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
She can make a competing Smarts check to not suffer a -2 to parry. If she fails by 4, she is also shaken

Beoh vaults over the umbrella wall, and for at least a moment, you think they weren't ready for you. You shove into Parsley, trying to break their formation.
Strength opposed: 1d6 ⇒ 31d6 ⇒ 5

Parsley lets out an indignant "Hey!" as he crashes into her, but manages to keep her footing for the instant.

Sage twists the handle on her umbrella, closing it and twirling around as she lashes out with it. The individual vanes on the umbrella shift and unlink while the handle collapses into one-handed use, turning the umbrella into a 16 section white-bladed whip. She lands a few yards behind Beoh and lashes out with her weapon.

Though her move was not expected, Beoh was able to parry the lashing blade.

Botting Onyxia
Onyxia does something particularly complicated and dances over to the side to engage Thyme, Rose and Gildt crashing off of the blue-haired girl's umbrella with unknown effect.

Parsley thrusts one arm into the dome of her umbrella and pulls the handle out of it entirely, drawing a thin, rapier-style blade and wearing the other part like a shield. She jabs at Beoh, who is closest to her.
Fighting: 1d8 ⇒ 81d8 ⇒ 41d6 ⇒ 4
12 is a hit and a raise, not counting any other penalties or bonuses.
Her rapier stab is unexpected, slipping past Beoh's defenses

Shaken, no wound
The weapon only manages to slice a thin line across Beoh's pant leg, but the accuracy of the hit does make him think again about how weak team PRST might be.

"Haha-hurk!" Parsley exclaims. Her taunt gets cut off as Tana practically appears at her side. With practiced, military ease, Tana takes the girl in green down.
Somehow makes me think of This moment.

"Hey!" Rosemary exclaims, closing her umbrella and swinging at Beoh, their apparently agreed-upon target. The closed umbrella suddenly sprouts metal spikes as she swings it hard!

The red tetsubo-like umbrella crashes into the ground next to Beoh's foot, cracking the floor and sending a shudder through the arena!

She manages to keep her wits about her and raises her weapon, sparks flying off the spikes as Mirage spins against it for an instant before rebounding off and flying back towards Sorzar.

I'll have the new turn draw later tonight.

Full disclosure: I messed up on that last one! I was thinking of the bonus from the Grab edge, but Tana actually only has Takedown. Since Parsley still lost vs a TN of 7 instead ofa TN of 9 she still got knocked prone, but Tana didn't grapple her. Sorry about that! I want to buy Grab and Suplex for Tana as soon as I have the advances for them. ^_^;;

"That's about what I thought," says Tana, cracking her knuckles before lunging forward and swinging for Parsley with her dominant hand.

Fighting (Wild Attack): 1d10 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) - 2 + 2 = 6
Wild (Wild Attack): 1d10 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 + 2 = 3
Since Parsley is still prone, she has a -2 parry against this attack :)
Damage (and an Ace!): 1d8 + 1d8 + 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (8) + (6) + (4) + 2 = 20


Rosemary is used to fighting and she manages to turn Beoh's hit from a devastating blow into one that spins her around despite just barely clipping her. No raise damage, sorry.

Parsley Tries to raise her shield in time, but her arm is trapped under her body and can't get it free soon enough to stop Tana from powering her fist into Parsley's abdomen! Her aura manages to absorb most of the blow, but the force of the punch combined with the rebound of her shield AND the emergency protection field activating means that Parsley gets bounced fifteen feet straight up into the air, smoke trail included, before falling to the ground and being taken out of the fight.

Glenda watches the hit and nods to herself with satisfaction, tapping something on her scroll.
