If your PC can't make the Knowledge (arcane) DC25 skill check and you're out of other ideas, just let me know so we can move on.

![]() |

Hanlin doesn't really know what to do, he's not training in K Arcana or Heal, nor does he have spellcraft or detect magic. My best bet would be to try prot evil but honestly it would be a stretch into player knowledge vs character.
I'm happy to move on, you can't win them all.

![]() |

Haha, we're having quite an interesting string of rolls for this encounter. I'd hate to move on and leave Lilli like this, but I don't want to risk hurting her either. So, if others still want to move on, I'm not going to stand in their way.

![]() |

Hey folks, just a note that I'll be heading out of town later today for a work training trip and won't be back until late on Friday the 20th. I'll have my laptop but the amount of free time I'll have to use it after today (Sunday) is uncertain so please go ahead and bot Nina & Inky as needed; if I have enough time to check in and post I will but otherwise I'll catch up when I get home.
Oh and if I do end up with some free time my first posting priority will be to my GMed games so if you see posts from GM Ladile elsewhere but none here that'll be why. Hopefully that'll avoid any 'I SEE U POSTIN' Y U NO POST FOR <X> GAME!?!?' confusion :P
________
Also I'm good to move on from the current encounter if there's nothing else to be done. Like Hanlin said, you can't always win them all.

There are a number of unclaimed items on your Loot & Treasure list, including the page of spell knowledge.
Unless he's used it, Erlathan has a scroll of see invisibility. There's also an unclaimed wand of see invisibility with 16 charges. The list might need to be updated, but that's what we're tracking right now.

![]() |

Thanks for the reminder on the wand! :)

The effects of the second DC16 Will Save aren't immediately apparent. The first one's the worst.

![]() |

Bishop, are you able to move your PC's icon on the map? Your text suggests you moved, but I think the icon remained where it was.
If you're having troubles interacting with the map, the other players or I can move the icon for you.

![]() |

No sweat, Bishop.
The phiam's Fly modifier is high enough that it auto-succeeds the checks to fly straight up and hover. (In case anyone's wondering.)

I'll finish the Chronicle sheets for Chapter 2 and provide you a link by this evening.
Please give me a fresh Day Job roll for Chapter 2.
If there's anything you'd like me to note on the Chronicle, please let me know.
Regarding most significant purchases, you'll have to wait until you're able to get access to a larger community. The mayor's quarantine makes that problematic.
In the meantime, enjoy leveling up your PCs!

Woohoo! Also apologies for the relative silence for the last day or two; Friday was all class and then travel home and then yesterday I really just wanted to rest up and chill out with my husband who missed me for some strange reason. With OutPost almost done and my training trip behind me, I should hopefully be a little more active posting here (and elsewhere) again :)
Day Jerb (Craft: Carpentry): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Hanlin is far too skill point poor for a day job. Besides, the church always has annoying things for him to keep busy doing without pay.
*Edit: Wow that was fast. Hanlin is leveled, minus gold/PP purchases, and with the place on lockdown its unlikely I'll be making any, at least that I can think of at the moment.
PS, Level 4 for a cleric is some boring.

![]() |

Okay, I should have Nina and Inky all leveled up and good to go!

![]() |

You all can access your Chronicles here.
Please let me know if I need to make any corrections.

![]() |

My chronicle looks good; have Nina's Fame/PP and gold updated accordingly now :)

![]() |

Sorry, I've got a busy day ahead me so it'll take a little longer for me to update my sheets. The chronicles looks good to me, but would it be possible to add a note or two? Kibble's intelligence went up at the start of this part and by taking 10 (giving a handle animal result of 27) Braggett taught him the following tricks: Aid, Exclusive, Flee.
I'll get to levelling up as soon as I can. ;)

![]() |

Yeah, I probably won't be able to get my level up completed until this evening. Level 5 is one of the bigger milestones! I finally get an Exploit!

![]() |

Lord Braggett, I updated your chronicle sheet as you requested and placed it in the linked folder.

![]() |

I have a pretty big test this Thursday so I'll level up as I can. Sheet looks good.

![]() |

Excellent, thank you GM!
Ok, so Braggett is all levelled up now. I couldn't decide between Battle Cry and Steadfast Personality for my feat, but after Braggett's confused episode, I figured the extra will save should be more useful. :)

![]() |

I've reported the session to Paizo, so you should be able to see the entry in your history of Player Sessions.

![]() |

If possible, I'd like to copy the scroll of daze monster into my spellbook at the cost of ink (40 gp). This consumes the scroll so I can not do it if someone isn't okay with it. Can you update this on my chronicle, GM?
Otherwise, I'm leveled up. Picked up Potent Magic and Dimensional Slide as the major changes.

![]() |

Sheet looks good, thanks Larry.
I'm going to check off the following faction goal for this module, we took the druid hostage and turned her in, that should count I assume?
Accept the surrender of an enemy combatant (other than an evil outsider or undead creature), and ensure his fair treatment until he can safely be released, ransomed, or delivered to authorities for justice. Alternatively, allow such an enemy combatant with no means of escape to flee without further harm.

![]() |

@Erlathan, I'll make an updated Chronicle available tomorrow.
@Hanlin, the tieflings are outsiders but with the native subtype, so go ahead and check the block on your faction card.

![]() |

Since we've got a way to do some shopping now, I'll try and get a tentative list for Nina sometime tomorrow!

![]() |

Ack, 18 Fame requirement for anything over 3000g... Guess its time to rethink since I've only got 13 fame.

![]() |

Hrm, how about a +1 Mithril Breastplate, doesn't fall under the fame restrictions... 5200g to get that speed back!

![]() |

Apologies for the delay/silence everyone; I've not felt well the last couple of days and it's largely kept me away from the forums. Finally feeling a bit better though so hopefully I won't be slowing our roll any further.

![]() |

Sorry, folks. I probably won't have time to post till tomorrow evening.

![]() |

No worries, GM. Work has kicked my butt the past day or two so I'm kinda glad Nina & Inky haven't been holding up the show!

![]() |

Anybody attending/volunteering at Gen Con in August?
Event sign-ups begin in an hour or so. I going with my wife and high school friend, renting an Air BnB place.
It's a little frustrating that I have to sign us up for scenarios now, even though I have no idea which scenarios I'll be GMing. Hopefully, I can switch their tables later to seat them at tables I'm running, once the organizers reveal the assignments.

![]() |

Not I. I've yet to make it to one, so far away... maybe some day.

![]() |

Unfortunately not. I'd love to go to a con one day, but that day is still a little ways off.

![]() |

Alas, my money and vacation time is limited so no GenCon or anything like that for me. PaizoCon someday would be a little more likely anyway as GenCon sounds like it's almost too big and too much of a hassle unless you're doing the GM indentured servitude plan to get your room and stuff covered.

![]() |

Went to Gen once loved it. Hoping to go back another day with family and my kids but not this year.

![]() |

@Hanlin:
The longsword sustained only 2hp damage, so it should be fine as long as it sustains no additional damage before it's mended or repaired.
A damaged weapon has the broken condition when it has taken damage in excess of half its total hit points.
According to Table: Common Armor, Weapon, and Shield Hardness and Hit Points in the CRB, a one-handed blade has 5 hit points.

![]() |

Excellent, that's what I figured but I was double checking.
*Edit: Looks like mending is on the cleric spell list AND a longsword is just the max weight I can fix at my caster level. The next morning I'll swap in mending and take the 10-20 minutes before we head out for the day fixing my sword.

Checking in, enjoying watching Bishop do his thing :)
*munches popcorn*

I'll do my best to post once per day during PaizoCon, but please be patient.
