"Im trying to determine. Druids usually below to circles circles have rules. If he is a pact circle druid we can Parlay. If he is untethered maybe i can convince him to leave and let us deal with the other goblins. If not well we fight."
He answered Yeda calmly enough, though on the inside he was slowly stressing out.
Loxley Geralt
Loxley held her tongue as Corrin and the goblin began to speak in a language she would kill to be able to understand. At the mention of possible parlay she found herself feeling mixed emotions. On one hand seemed to understand the situation it was in and wanted to talk, on the other hand...
Loxley remembered the town’s state when she had arrived. Those morning their losses and the ruined lives.
Could they really just let one of these creatures go freely?

Zeldana, make a perception check, DC 13.

The goblin snarls at corrin, his short body trembling and twitching. He growls a second time, but turns his attention to the large cat that lays upon the ground, bleeding out. His growl stops, and he kneels down, and where anger and viciousness was, there is now concern, care, compassion. His short, clawed fingers scratch underneath the cats chin, and light chittering is vocalized from the goblins mouth. The hand scritches under the chin before moving to the top of the head and petting back, long, slow strokes. Although in pain, the cat begins to purr loudly from the ministrations.
Muttering to himself, the goblin slowly approaches the large heavy wound upon the rear, and while the purring stops, the cat doesnt lash out nor react violently to the goblins hand. Gently, he picks up the flayed muscle and presses it upon the animals flank, and he chants a short, brief phrase under his breath.
you can make a spellcraft check to identify the spell being cast.
Reacting immediately, the flesh begins to knit itself back together, slim narrow strands of tissue connecting together, before growing larger and thicker. The meaty tissue fuses whole, yet leaves behind a large scar. The goblin gently strokes and pets the freshly healed area, and the cat gives loud growls and mewls in pain and pleasure, as the fresh healed flesh is sensitive to the pressure of the caress.
The goblin shuffles back to the cats head, and scratches behind the ears. He reaches his left hand into a belt pocket and pulls out a small green vial, pops the cork, and pours it down the throat of the cat. The freshly healed area, the large scar that cut across the rump, narrows even more as another flash of healing has been imparted to the cat.
used potion
The goblin then stands, and faces Corrin again. The cat stands up and stretches. The goblin clicks a couple times, and the cat moves and stands by his side, his left side.

He nodded to Sazzat.
"Cha do ghabh mi aoibhneas sam bith ann a bhith a ’dèanamh cron air do charaid. Ha na daoine sin bho bhaile daonna Sandpoint. Thug treubh goblin an seo ionnsaigh orra aig cuirm. Cò bhios a ’stiùireadh do threubh? Carson a thug iad ionnsaigh air a ’bhaile?
He began speaking rather rapidly in the strange language only pausing to glance back as Dewdrop push his head through some bushes chuffing at him in impatience. The Elk wanted out of this warren-like maze for sure. The elk glared at the freshly healed cat for a moment before pulling away slowly.
:Tha mi air dearbhadh dhaibh nach e thusa an cunnart a tha iad a ’coimhead a thoirt gu crìch. Tha e duilich ach fàg an seo airson beagan làithean."

Yes. As soon as i saw you and the other tallies standing there, i knew where you were from. I told Warchief Ripnugget not to send the goblins to sandpoint, that it was a fools errand. That would only lead to the ruin of our goblin tribe. But no! he had to listen to that harpy witch that spits lies and treats us goblins like offal waste. She beds the warchief one time and suddenly he acts like new goblin who just discovers sex. Pathetic! The goblin suddenly claps his hands over his mouth, his eyes wide, as he stares at Corrin. Dont tell warchief i said that.
Corrin Whisperwind
"Seems someone convinced the goblin warchief to attack Sandpoint. Which we knew, He said it was a she though.Said she was a harpy witch. He argued against the attack. Saw it as a fools errand and dangerous for the tribe."

Corrin Whisperwind
"The trail directly north leads to where the goblin warchief is.He asked that we try not to harm the misled goblins. Told him we would let the ones fleeing flee. Best offer."
He told the others placing his hand over his heart and giving the goblin druid a half bow before picking his spear up and turning to head north to solve the problem.
Yeda Wolfspirit
Yeda sheaths her sword and shrugs.
So, we have the location of the head. That is pretty good. I'm willing to see if the others run or stand to fight. They can have mercy if they take. Not the chief.
RIZZENMAGNUS
Yeda Wolfspirit
Yeda squints and cocks her head. Hrm... is this a friend of the druid?Who speaks goblin?
Loxley Geralt
”I’m beginning to wish I did.”
Loxley replied to Yeda as Zeldana pointed out their new company. She sheathed her sword and started to unslung her bow. It was narrow within the bramble passages, but she hoped the distance was short enough not to have the low ceiling interfere too much.
Sazzat Tamm
"I can speak a little goblin." Tamm answers.
RIZZENMAGNUS
The goblin focuses its gaze upon Zeldana, and then attempts to look past her to see the voice that comes from behind her. It opens it's mouth, and begins to scream in a howling voice, rising high and above the ambient noises of the wind and the waves crashing upon the rocks below.
as it screams, it turns and runs away, vanishing out of sight.
A moment later, a loud response erupts from beyond sight, loud, heavy, loud squawks and wails of anger. Not just one voice, but many, growing louder as each adds to the total.
FYI for all, especially loxley the sleep spell is still in effect upon the goblin dogs. 1 minute has elapsed since the casting of the spell.
Zeldana Dardlara Amaria
"That... doesn't sound good. And I don't even speak goblin" Zeldana said.
"Does anyone want to go take care of those goblin dogs before we're set upon by more goblins?" Zeldana asked. "I can stay here to use magic on them as they come out of the brush."
Yeda Wolfspirit
Oh, good. They want to throw us a party.
Yeda remarks, dripping with sarcasm. She holds up her greatsword and adjusts the grip.
Hearing Zel's requested, and nodding back at her she proceeds to sneak over and coup de grace each. As she does so, she mutters to each I give you back to the Earth. It is your goblin masters that wrong you, not I...
Corrin Whisperwind
"That could have went better. We will try to save as many as your kin as we can, but I doubt they will just let us pass. May nature watch over you little brother."
He said in the druidic tongue to the goblin druid pulling his spear from the earth and pulling the mask back over his features. Time for the hunter again. He moved torwards the angry voices as quietly as he could hoping to see them before they saw him.
Using my sneaky druid abilities to you know walk through forest walls and all that trying to find where the goblins are coming from.
RIZZENMAGNUS
The druidic goblin shrugs, and replies in Common to Corrin. Those arent members of my tribe. Kill them. save them. I care not. The goblin clicks his tongue a few times at the large cat, and walks away from Corrin and the rest of the group, slipping into the thick overgrowth. At the same time, the thick grasping vines that clung to limbs and clothes withdraw, releasing their hold upon everyone.
the entangle spell has been dismissed
The chanting continues as the goblins, hidden by the overgrowth, begin to move, responding to the unseen threat of Longshanks in the grove.
starting now, we are in combat.
@yeda: performing a coup de grace is a full round action. so it'd take you 4 rounds to kill all the dogs
also, dont forget the map. move your tokens.
Yeda Wolfspirit
Yeda will continue the coup de la train until the next batch of hostiles arrives to threaten them.
Yeda starts to feel the pressure of impending, active combat as she tries to go hurriedly from dog to dog, carefully but effectively carrying out the gruesome task. I give you back to the Earth. It is your goblin masters that wrong you, not I...
RIZZENMAGNUS
Yeda and Sazzat both CDG two of the dogs. i marked them in red on the map
the chants of the goblins continue...

Yeda Wolfspirit
Yeda looks around nervously at the others, but specifically asks Corrin
Do you think... we should get out of here before we're surrounded?
Corrin Whisperwind
"The hedge walls will hold them in just as it does us. We can hold the line around this pit. Keep someone to the rear in case they try to flank. We break them here, then move in to find Tsutso and his cronies. They may rabbit if we flee now."
He said cooly. Whether it was the safety of his leather mask or just unflinching faith in his arm and that of his companions he didnt sound worried at all.
"Dewdrop can hold the southern entrance. If we have to fall back he can clear the way to the entrance behind his horns."
He moved to the west side of the pit, leaving the north east side for someone to cover.
Yeda Wolfspirit
There is a passage out of the north end of the chamber with the dogs, correct?
RIZZENMAGNUS
quick questions for you all. are you still trying to be sneaky? or have you abandoned stealth and just going for it? If youre trying to be sneaky, then I have to say that the conversation between Yeda and Corrin doesnt occur as the distance is too great to have been conducted through a whisper or low vocals. But, if your abandoning stealth, then it can happen with ease.
@yeda, on the north end of the opening with the dogs, there is a narrow opening, but it gets real thick after a couple feet. cant see beyond it, but it looks like you could crawl down it and scout it out.
Loxley Geralt
Loxley couldn't actually watch Yeda and Sazzat, even though she knew it was the right thing to do tactically. Instead, she slipped across the open space to stand near Dewdrop. From there she could watch the entrance Zeldana and Corrin were guarding and the part of the intersection they had confronted the druid at. Her bow ready in hand and an arrow notched, she could hear the goblins coming.
Zeldana moved to stand beside Corrin. "We'll be able to hold them if we're smart about it." She said.
"I hope you're right." Loxley said hopefully. She didn't want Tsutso to slip away any more then the rest of the party.
Yeda Wolfspirit
@yeda, on the north end of the opening with the dogs, there is a narrow opening, but it gets real thick after a couple feet. cant see beyond it, but it looks like you could crawl down it and scout it out.
Okay, but it's not an open that goblins will be passing through easily. That's what I was looking for, so then Yeda won't feel the need to specific guard it from a "back attack."
Yeda moves back out to the opening where they'd encountered the druid, to listen for hostile noises in this direction. She looks to make sure she can still see Loxley at least.
RIZZENMAGNUS
yeda: from your vantage point, youre not 100% sure.
Sazzat: you havent moved your icon on the map to facilitate the slitting of dogs throats action.
Opps, i missed seeing Zeldana's perception roll til now. I'll give zel an opportunity react prior to this combat round from happening, as the goblins will move on the same path whether Zel is standing where she is or not. If she isnt standing there, they'd pile into and around Corrin. If she is still there, then theyd pile on her as she is the closest to the entrance.
The howling and chanting begins to grow louder, and you pick up the rustling sound of feet moving over the dirt covered trails.
Around the corner the come, erupting from the tunnel, arms and legs, rusty swords and debris filled saliva. Frothing from madness, they descend upon Zeldana or corrin depending on Zels action, and the front goblins wildly swing their blades.

The other goblin twitches and flinches away from the sudden pain.

just to make things easier for me...
The flames lance out from Zeldana's hand, and consumes three of the goblins. One of them, bleeding already from the errant sword blow, falls immediately as it's life is burnt up before it's friends. The one who swung the sword, burns up as well, a whimper squeeling from its throat as it is seared shut.
The third, a bit faster than it's companions, leaps to the side, avoiding a majority of the flames, although the heat manages to burn it's flesh. The heavy, thick smell of flash roasted goblin, hair, and goblin waste immediately fills the area, thick and clinging to everyone present.
The press of the goblin, too numerous to counter with such simple magics, push past their crispy companions and press the attack.

yeda: ohhh crap! she just got swol! also, i moved your token on the map
will save vs evil eye: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
the yellow bordered goblin is affected by evil eye
The goblin stood for a moment, staring at the woman with the strange white hair, a look of eagerness upon his features. easy pickens he thought to himself, remembering the raid earlier in the week, seeing the women flee from him in terror. He smiles cruely, starting to lift his sword to intimidate her...
only she looks at him, and her gaze hardens.
He suddenly is assailed in his mind, doubts, fears, haunting images of other tallies, swift as the wind, destroying his small haunt, his tribe, his fellow goblins. This one carries death with her. this one isnt intimidated. This one, wasnt going to cow before him. His knees began to shake, and his blade quivered as the magic from this woman suffused him from head to toe.
the goblin turns his head to gain confidence from being with his fellow tribesmen, only to see his mate suddenly grow an arrow, wreathed momentarily in a strange yellow hue, grow from his chest. The strange arrow was buried up to its fletching, but a foot of wood and simple broadhead punched out it's back, dripping in bubbly blood. His companion fell to its knees, mouth working as it dropped its sword to the ground from lifeless hand.
The swing from the sword Mar'du, a sword that is a remnant of a remnant of a sword from an earlier age, a time when great, horrible things roamed the wild lands, an age undreamed of, the sword that will be, cuts through the tiny goblin frame. The strength of the warrior weilding the blade, absolute fury empowering her blow with near megalithic strength, crushes the bones, severs muscle and tendons, drives the goblin as a maul hammers into a tent stake, driving the goblin body into the ground. Bones explode from the force of hammer and anvil effect, tearing through the fibers and skin, jutting out at weird, odd angles. an involuntary sqwauk erupts from the collapsed lungs, life driven out of it as it dies by the same means it lived, bloody, ruthless, uncaring.
the goblins, frenzied now, uncaring of numbers, surge forward, closing the distance between them and the interlopers, swords swinging.

"Dewdrop amddiffyn yma."
He called out, pointing to the side just south of the hole. These blasted goblins were fast, He didnt want Zeldana overwhelmed. With a snarl at the goblin in front of him, He took two steps to the right and leapt high up over the goblins heads turning it into a sommersault and landing on the other side. At least that had been the plan. He stumbled over a stone and ended up just eating some of the dirt right in front of the goblins he meant to leap over. Some how he managed to draw one of his spare spears out and he stabbed at the goblin in front of Zeldana. His snarl turned much darker.

Loxley didn’t even spare a second thought for her target as she loaded another arrow and drew back the bowstring. She stayed her ground, confident the others would keep the little terrors at bay. Around her goblins fell to the attacks of her companions and they each moved to fell more. One had been smarter than the others though, and had turned to run. But she had already decided that there would be no more survivors after the Druid had fled. Her whisper was lost amongst the clatter of battle as she sighted on the back of the fleeing goblin and released her shot.

loxley, im going to say that your action doesnt happen. the goblin ran away out of sight, and initially i was going to have you make a perception roll dc 20 to see if you can observe the goblin running away, but still keep your attack roll but with a -4 modifier. But with the attack roll being that low, the -4 mod would have you miss. So itd be easier to say that you dont fire, dont lose the charge for arcane strike, and more importantly, you dont waste an arrow.
Zeldana's blow catches the goblin square between its narrow yellowed eyes, and a loud wet crunch rumbles in her ears as the staff caves in the goblins tiny skull. the blow pushes through the narrow brain, and drives it into its throat, completely ending it's repugnant life.
Yeda's swollen and enraged form swings the terrible goblin cleaver Mar'du, its blade bathed in goblin blood, and as before, the goblin that attempted harm upon Yeda's companion finds itself suffering massive trauma as the blade cuts into and tears apart the body of the goblin, from shoulder to thigh bone. Ragged flesh and guts spray out, a cascade of offal spread far out, splashing everyone nearby, goblin, witch, and druid.
