GM FurtiveZoog's PFS 3-01 The Frostfur Captives (Inactive)

Hi all,

One space is available for a PbP, PFS run of The Frostfur Captives played at Tier 1-2 here on the Paizo boards. (Here is the campaign description page, detailing how I do things.) The campaign is up and going, but only in the initial mission briefing stage. We have five, but I always like to have a full house to give more players the chance to go.

I'd prefer someone who is relatively new to PbP, who doesn't have 10 campaigns going, and who hasn't played the scenario before, all so that the fun is spread around a little better.

I also would expect 1 or 2 posts a day. (I'll try to restrain myself and not make it go too fast. Since this is my only GMing at the moment, we'll see how well that goes!)

We have in the group:

a human paladin/1;
a halfling bard (detective)/2;
a tiefling witch/2;
a human cleric of Gorum/2; and
a half-orc alchemist (grenadier)/2.

He's now a a Tiefling natural weapon focused Archaelogist. More graverobber and thief than a true academic. The crunch is pretty much done, but the fluff is still missing. However should you select me I could have it all done by tomorow.

Hi Alex, sure, come aboard!

What you will still need is a PFS-registered alias on here with an avatar. Do you think you could get that done first? (Fluff can wait.) I see that you have one PFS character on your account already, so I won't bother explaining that part.

Stullun is ready to go. I have only ever done First Steps, so its a new scenario to me.

Eolowyn just finished a PbP scenario, I should receive her chronicle today, and am ready to go on short notice. If you allow I can do my shopping retroactively.

One caveat: I have GM'ed the scenario, although I am good in separating player knowledge from character knowledge. I have not played the scenario.

It looks like Alex will be ready with a character, but I appreciate your interest and will keep you in mind for future scenarios.

I wish I could run two of the same at one time, but I don't have that kind on GMing time at the moment. :-\

Hey Eolowyn, several of my "regular" players were in the Dalsine game. I'm planning to get another game underway for them soon, and we only had 4 or 5 if you're interested in joining.

And Zoog, are you wanting a bit more of a break from playing? I was going to see if our Night March gang wanted to re-unite.

Derek, let me know about the Night March reunion. Unfortunately, I was bored with not being in any games as a player so I put Naurin into another game which is still in its early stages. I could possibly bring another character, though. It could be another cleric.

One idea might be to run the Frostfur Captives yourself, since you are familiar with it, and add in characters from here and from the people in our groups who haven't played it. I could send you my prep work. :) (I haven't played in it myself, but I wouldn't want to fill the group too heavily with people who know the story from the inside.)

I'm looking for some PFS as well... Let me know what is going on if there are openings...
