Description:
At first, this large man looks quite savage in appearance with long dark hair and leathery, tanned skin. Well armed and armored with a grim, forbidding expression he does not look like one for casual acquaintance. However, a closer examination reveals that his equipment is kept meticulously in order and he appears oddly clean and well kept for such a savage appearing soldier. Further, a keen intelligence can be seen in his eyes and his warrior's demeanor is somehow melded with an arcane presence.
Background:
Sold into slavery as an orphan when his Scarni troop was captured and killed for alleged banditry, Stullun, then known only as Arcady, was trained to be a house guard for a minor nobleman of Chelliax. At first, it seemed a life that he could survive as the Master was not overly cruel and as a skilled armsman, Stullun was treated rather well. That was until he saw the darker side of his master... Stullun was taken and asked to stand guard with three others while the nobleman paid call on a young woman living in the local village. Stullun had assumed the woman was a mistress, but the screams of horror and sounds of violence that came through the door told another story. Stullun turned to enter while drawing his blade and the other three guards attempted to stop him. An odd power grew within Stullun as he fought off the other guards - his strength and agility seemed enhanced and the other guards seemed to be moving in almost in slow motion. The next thing that Stullen knew he was standing over the corpse of his former Master and the three guards. The girl was also dead at his former Master’s hands.
Knowing that his life was forfeit otherwise, Stullun ran. A runaway slave and a hunted killer he travelled far and quickly while learning of the arcane power that fueled his sword-craft. Eventually he found himself amongst allies as he fell in with the Andoran freedom-fighters who re-christened him Stullun Freeblade and gave him a home. Stullun lived among his new friends and companions for a while and received training from a Magus among them, learning how to truly harness his magical talents in battle. Eventually, however, rumors that Arcady had settled in the region reached his ears and Stullun decided to move on rather than expose his new friends to danger. His travels brought him to Absalom where he has started a new life as an initiate into the Pathfinder Society. His loyalty to the Andoran cause an dislike of the nobility of Chelliax remain, but he knows that the Society can give him refuge to pursue his goals.
