Niama are you trained as a Courtesan? Because I could use a female perspective on events...
If she is trained Then Grergof will engage her in intellectual debate on current events in the lodge and woods while trying to pump her for information about the men that came through last wee.
If she is simply a prostitute, Grergof engages in a very athletic session of physical entertainment, then attempts to learn all he can about the the visitors whike the half drugged woman is recovering before their next bout.
Diplomacy gather info: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (16) + 13 = 29
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof discusses the current events at the lodge and tries to guide the conversation to answer the following questions:
1) Who is important at the lodge right now.
2) any interesting people who have come through in the past few weeks
3) if she remembers the group with the demon familiar
4) any details she remembers about them (names, interesting details)
5) what they wanted with her
After those questions are answered he'll figure out what to ask next.
Niama
"I guess Estovion and his porter. But I don't care. As for interesting - that one guy who wanted to play with a lash was interesting for sure - do you want details?" Niama replies with a smirk.
To Grergof's third question she answers "That group for sure was special. Three men and one of them with this ugly little thing. They came in, but strangely they only requested that I dance for them. They were not even particular interested in the dance. Eventually a new guest arrived, a silver-haired woodsman with a full beard who smelled like wet dog. At that point, they requested that I leave. When I came back to my room about an hour later I found that they had disappeared."
Brother Grergof Varsk
Was the lash enjoyable? Grergof asks with genuine currosity.
After the third answer Grergof become very serious and focused:
Did you catch any of their names? Or can you describe them?
This is important, we have significant evidence that the group here has been responsible for some very serious crimes that threatened a lot of people. Plus the signs point to this group planning something big that will endanger even more people.
Anything you can tell me about the four will help us to stop them and save a lot of lives.
Niama
"Not really. I'm no dog person. And it doesn't become better when you have some old man on a lash." Niama replies.
"I have had enough experience with clients from all over Ustalav to recognize that although the nobles claimed to be from Courtaud, their
accents clearly marked them as southerners, possibly from Caliphas. I also caught a glimpse of a strange amulet worn by one of them, depicting a gagged skull. I have no idea of the business these guests discussed, but as I was leaving the room, I did hear them mention 'the Stairs of the Moon' and something called 'the packlord’s heart.' Whatever THAT meant."
Brother Grergof Varsk
Thank you. Seeing that amulet helps. It confirms without a doubt these are the murderers we are looking for.
So you have a silver haired woodsman who smells like wet dog. What did the other three and the demon look like?
Please note he's trying to address her as an intelligent (if highly distracting) woman who's opinion he is interested in, not as an officer interrogating a subject.
Niama
"Just some men in dark cloaks." Niama shrugs. "But the guy with the demon on his shoulder was creepy. But they were not interested in me. So I simply danced as asked for and minded my own business. I just wonder why you ask me these questions. Everyone who comes into the lodge has either to be a noble belonging to the club or bring an invitation. It's not like anyone can simply walk in here." Niama takes another pull from the water pipe and blows the smoke in direction of Grergof.
Fort save DC 13 to prevent becoming more relaxed ;)

Fort: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Grergof relaxes a bit anyway, now that he thinks he has extracted most of the information he can from her.
I'm rather suprised they were not interested in you, particularly the woodsman. Someone as enticing as you is a welcome distraction for anyone who has been out in the woods for any length of time.. He gives her an admiring look.
He smiles to soften what comes next:
As for your curiosity, no I'm not a noble. In fact, I have no desire to be a noble, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired through long hours of training. Skills that make me a nightmare for those who target the defenseless. Sometimes the rich and powerful benifit from those skills. Most times they do not. But when they do, they are often very thankful. Me being here is but a small token of thanks from someone I helped.
Brother Grergof Varsk
And what exactly would you consider a good body?. Grergof asks talking her hand and gently pulling her to her feet.
Stam Truthfinder
Stam will Divine what is taking Grergof so long... but turn it off right away ;)
To Darius and Spugnoir, "So we await whatever information that Grergof will bring back for us. Does Duristan have a place in the woods that he wishes to visit for his "hunting" first?'
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof starts kissing her neck, and talking stops for a while.
Foxey. Unless you have something planned, go ahead and skip to some time later with Grergof showing up in his room to give the report of what was found.
Niama
Niama leads Grergof to the bed and shows him how to enjoy the skills of an expert for an hour or two as time becomes as hazy as the room in the slight mist of the water pipe.
As the haze clears again Grergof finds himself alone in the room with a bowl, a jug full of water and soft towels to refresh himself.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Yes, the interaction was ummm... eye opening. Thank Niama for me next time you see her.
Then he heads off to find his companions and to update them on what he has learned about the men they are chasing.
Brother Grergof Varsk
I don't know that we want to leave yet. There are still some people we have not talked to here, they might know more about the plans of the Wispering Way. Plus we still need to find out what the stairs of the moon and Packlord's heart are. Perhaps Mr. Stam can discover something in his research.
Stam Truthfinder
"Pack Lords heart must be a literal meaning of the heart of the current pack lord, they say eating it will make whom ever does the new pack Lord. As to the Stairs to the Moon, that I am not sure, maybe some place the hold of power or great importance. I will go and do some more research."

Grergof rushes toward the sound to see what is going on.
I hope we are not under attack...
Brother Grergof Varsk
Then I may need to run and get my armor and flail... Grergof says glancing down at his fine clothing and Dagger.
GM Foxy
Ok, you started in D29 which is on the 2nd floor. The ruckus is down the stairs. Grergof wears his chain shirt hidden under his elegant clothes. But a flail might be helpful. Or a bow.
As all are ready (within two rounds) and run down the stairs it is immediately clear what the problem is. The main doors (D13) are broken off the hinges. Graydon, Corvin, Duristan, the Markisa and her huntsman as well as well as the maid Bisthe and the Cook Ladimeur hide behind hastily erected barricades of tables.
The reason for that is a huge spider. Huge as in huge compared to a horse. It is about 20 by 20 feet of space the monster covers in the room. You are aware that you can't approach that beast without provoking.
Attack: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 343d6 + 18 ⇒ (4, 2, 6) + 18 = 30

The spider reaches behind one of the barricades and kills the maid and pulls her out.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof runs over and grabs his silver flail and runs back.
Let me know if you want me to skip a round to get that done, or if grabbing the flail and running back is in the two rounds before people head downstairs.

Ugh for some reason the map doesn't wanna load on my side at the moment. So Darius will stay just out of reach of the spider if he can. If not I'll roll to cast Defensively just in case.
Darius comes down the stairs as he see's the dead maid getting pulled out.
"Nooooo!! What beast is this?! Eight legged freak, prepare to meet your maker."
As Darius holds out his hand and lets loos a beam of pure searing light.

An undead creature takes 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d6), and an undead creature particularly vulnerable to bright light takes 1d8 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d8). There is nothing to see on the map anyway. You stand in a corridor that is 20 feet wide with columns running down the middle. And the spider is in the open area furhter down. But I would be interested who takes the stand at the front once the beast comes back to thank you personally.
Darius also hits the beast easily. It is like shooting a small house. But after three solid hits it is clear that this fight will not be over soon.

EFFECT

Target one creature/2 levels
Duration 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw Reflex negates; Spell Resistance yes
DESCRIPTION
Rays of light burst forth from your outstretched hand, encircling each target’s space with a cage of light. If a target fails its Reflex save, it becomes enclosed in the light prison. A creature enclosed in a light prison can attack, cast spells, and otherwise act normally as long as it stays within the light prison. However, if a creature passes through the walls of a light prison enclosing it, it takes 1d6 points of damage and is blinded for 1 round. Creatures do not receive saves to negate these effects. Once a creature passes through the walls of a light prison surrounding it, the effect ends for that creature.
'Maybe that will slow it down and give us a chance." Darius says.
Ugh it's been a rough couple weeks, I can't remember if Darius has his sword. He definitely has the silver dagger, but can't remember if we were allowed to walk around here with a weapon or not. If not then I might have a problem in this fight. Eek."
