"Why should I? Hand over the gold, take the painting and get lost." Ivanja tells.

"The price is now 70 gold." Ivanja tells and draws the painting out of a shelf, setting it up on the desk at the back wall.

"First you tell me why you were following me."

"You!"

Ivanja stands at the crossing looking around for a while.

Then she shrugs and leaves. Maybe she is gone? But she still keeps an eye and an ear out to make sure she isn't followed anymore.

"What the ..." Madame Ivanja is at a loss of words.

She follows to the corner and looks around.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

"Show yourself. I know you're there."

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

Madame Ivanja steps back into the street. "So you're stalking me."

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Madame Ivanja gets the feeling she is being followed. After a corner in an alley where the long shadows of the houses give some cover she steps into an entrance, hiding.

As the work day comes to an end the pawn shop is closed. Madame Ivanja leaves the shop through the back door. She locks it and leaves.

DC15 to notice from the roof.

"Hmmm." Ivanja ponders the offer. "For that amount I can check in my storage if I have something like that. Can't remember right now. Maybe come back in two days? I should know until them."

"Say goodbye to the silverware. That would be long gone. If you see some furniture here, you're welcome to buy."

"About that painting. What are you willing to pay?"

"Oh, no! Another gullible victim lost for my scheming."

"But with your very specific request I could still take you to the cleaner."

The shop is housed in a nice old townhouse made of carved stone. The first floor has a large shop window, the upper floors has high windows with curtains, that suggest someone is living there.

The shop part has some simple stuff and furniture, or generally big items that can't be pick-pocketed in the show room. Then there is a counter, separated from the rest of the room by steel bars and behind that works a woman in front of a showcase covering the whole wall with the more valuable items on display. An iron door with several locks would allow to leave the cage to the left. As well as a normal sturdy wooden door the woman could leave towards the back.

There is jewelry on display, as well as expertly made weapons. Golden trinkets, expensive kids toys. You probably could find everything here, if it is worth at least a gold.

The woman greets the potential customer with a surprisingly low voice. "Good morning." she puts aside the quill and closes the book. "Are you looking to buy or to pawn?"

On his way out Ivanja asks Grergof if the service provided was satisfying and wishes him a good day as he leaves.

"They didn't ask for her specifically." Inavja replies and gets up. "Follow me."

Ivanja leads Grergof to one of the private bedchambers on the tower’s second floor. A pretty Vudrani woman, wearing heavy eyeliner and clad in nothing but a translucent silken scarf, waits within. Ivanja introduces the woman as Niama, then wishes Grergof a pleasurable evening, and shuts the door behind her as she exits.

You're supposed to leave the coins with her before being left alone with the ohther woman.

"I remember that evening. Only four guests visited the watchtower that night, all enjoying the services of one of my courtesans. If you are interested, I can arrange a meeting with the woman who tended to the guests on that evening — for the proper fee of course." She writes a number on a note, folds it and shoves it over the table.

"This is the Carnival. It is the chaotic neutral card of wisdom. It represents illusions and false dreams." Ivanja tells.

She takes the card back, shuffles the deck and lays a harrowing. Watching the cards come together Ivanja becomes very serious. "You must face a powerful force yet unseen that is manipulating the current situation, both in the Shudderwood and beyond. This force is steadily growing in both power and malevolence, and has the potential to threaten Ustalav and the indeed the whole world, yet you are ultimately destined to have a hand in determining its fate."

"The reading is for free. But I'm no information broker." Ivanja replies holding out eight cards for Grergof to draw one.

"I can do a Harrowing for you, or you can enjoy the company of one of the girls." Ivanja replies with a knowing smile.

Grergof is met by Madame Ivavnja when he knocks at the door. "Good evening." she says as she invites him in. She leads him to a comfortable sitting area that consists of a table and two armchairs. "How can I be of service." she asks as both are seated.

Madame Ivanja looks out of the window of her tower. She is bored as business is really slow these days.
