Roaring in pain he replies. "That was your last warning scum! NOW YOU DIE!"

In a flurry of fang, claw and wing he tries to rip the casters throat out.

The dice generator isn't liking me today

Poog of Zarongel M goblin cleric 3 | HP: 23/23| AC: 17 (T: 13/FF: 15) | F +5, R +6, W +6 | CMB +1 | CMD 13 | Speed: 30 ft | Init +6 | Perception +2 | Conditions: None

It's all part of my plan. I took that slay living scroll out last turn. Just waiting until Zey's whittled down a little before I get up close and try to finish him with it.

Aaog-Shagga - variant Neh-Thalggu HP (69/71) | AC 19, Touch 17, Flatfooted 17 CMD 28 (Immune Trip) | F +5, R +3, W +9 (DR 5/magic; Immune confusion; SR 18) | Darkvision 60, Perception +14, Sense Motive +6; Init +6 | Status: Diseased, Invisible, Shield of Faith

With a scream of rage, Marnarius flies through the air toward Aram, swinging the lion-headed flail in wide arcs as he advances. He maintains his height in the air to make sure he stays out of the others' way, but brings the flail down like a comet upon the powerful Pathfinder.

Heavy Flail, ST, Charge, PA: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 35 Damage, ST, PA: 1d10 + 9 + 2d6 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 9 + (4, 6) + 4 + 6 = 31
Vicious self-damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Confirm Crit?: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 14 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 35 Crit damage: 1d10 + 9 + 2d6 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 9 + (5, 6) + 4 + 6 = 39
Vicious self-damage?: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Not really sure if this damage would also be doubled on a crit?

I really hope everyone hits with the displacement.

Yeah I have no idea how to deal with that as a purely martial character unfortunately. On another note, if my hit does indeed go through, Aram needs to make a DC 20 Fortitude save vs the Deathblade poison. Failure means 1d3 ⇒ 3 Con damage.

CN Elf Rogue | HP: 33 (-11) | AC: 20 | F: +6, R: +11, W: +8; +1 vs Emotional |Per: +8 (low-light vision); Stealth: +9 | 35ft | Focus 1/1 | Active Conditions: Trap Finder, Cat Fall

Agreed. displacement is rough. I just hope Marnarius get's his hit through. Fairly certain all but two of my attacks missed outright.

I should have chosen to try another dispel instead of using ISW.

Rataji weakens Zey's hardened exterior just in time. Marnarius soars to the wizard and crushes into his chest with a mighty blow. Vicious doesn't apply on the critical for either of you, but nice crit nonetheless

Gazwyr furiously attacks again, but only his wing and hastened bite catches the mage for any blood. 322s spectral hand strikes at Aram's displaced form but doesn't discharge. Holding the charge in the hand for next round

Shohiraj picks up her weapon and soars up to the melee. Aram tries to shake off the pain of the blows (that he now can feel). Grimacing, he stares at each of you, then at the Sky Key. The force of the blows has taken his breath away. He slumps over and his body falls to the ground below, sliding off the couch like a misguided drunkard.

Combat is over, luckily my dice were kinder to you this time.

Miss chance Marnarius (low is miss): 1d100 ⇒ 77
fort save Aram: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Miss chance Gazwyr (low is miss): 1d100 ⇒ 100
Miss chance Gazwyr (low is miss): 1d100 ⇒ 77
Miss chance 322 (low is miss): 1d100 ⇒ 11
fly check Shohiraj: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

End of Combat Status
Rataji - 30 damage
Marnarius (Shield of Faith, Fly, Dust of Darkness) - 10 damage
Gazwyr (4 points ST damage) - 30 damage
322 (Cloak and Wings of Darkness) - 30 damage
Shohiraj (Heroism, Shield of Faith, Fly, Displaced 1) - 11 damage
Aram Zey (Fly, Displaced) - 105 damage, unconscious

Everyone also has Resist Energy 10 (Fire, Cold, Electric) and everyone has Haste.

322 flies down next to Zey and holds her capturing lantern over his face. Looking up at Marnarius, she grins wickedly and firmly says, "Finish him. His soul is ours!"

Shohiraj looks away from Zey's imminent and probably messy demise shaking her head slightly to finish someone is just common sense but to take such joy is ... unprofessional she takes a look at the Sky Key to find ways to secure it for transport.

Aaog-Shagga - variant Neh-Thalggu HP (69/71) | AC 19, Touch 17, Flatfooted 17 CMD 28 (Immune Trip) | F +5, R +3, W +9 (DR 5/magic; Immune confusion; SR 18) | Darkvision 60, Perception +14, Sense Motive +6; Init +6 | Status: Diseased, Invisible, Shield of Faith

Marnarius drifts down toward the ground and allows his feet to touch down as he stands over the mage's limp body. His eyes narrow with hatred for the man and everything he represents. The embittered slayer thinks back over the years he spent inside the Hao Jin Tapestry. He thinks of all the people he met in those long years, those who were trapped like him. The fury of his imprisonment wells up inside him and boils out as he raises his flail and cries out with rage, "The Lion and its people will roam free under the open sky tonight! DIE!"

Coup De Grace, Vicious, ST, PA: 2d10 + 18 + 2d6 + 8 + 12 ⇒ (4, 9) + 18 + (2, 4) + 8 + 12 = 57

Grand Lodge

Fate in the Future ||| xxx2 ||| xxx3

Marnarius finishes off the Pathfinder Society's Master of Spells with a sickening thud. After a moment, the lights dim in the room and the air about him disturbs and a ghostly emanation visibly tears from his body and spirals into the lantern, which begins glowing faintly. 322 clasps it shut and pulls it close.

Quickly the rest of you loot his mangled corpse as Shohiraj begins to test the inscribed circle around the encased Sky Key. The Key hums with a vibrational energy you can hear now that the room is mostly silent but for your footsteps. Convinced it is not harmful, she instructs the group on how to extract the Key without disturbing it, or breaking its protective glass and metal filigree shell.

As the weight of it presses against your clothes and skin, you feel a strange sensation. Almost a pulsing heat, but not quite. More like a subtle speeding up and slowing down of events as you exit into the hallway and retrace your steps to the ground floor.

A team of agents suddenly turns the corner in front of you. Several of you react instinctively and draw your weapons but the lead operative flashes a silver Aspis badge.

“Nicely done. I figured we’d be late to the party, but its still five fingers till Oathday.”

The last part of this statement is the code phrase that identifies them as the agents responsible for carrying the Sky Key to its next objective. With this handoff complete, the five of you need only slip out of the Grand Lodge using the chaos outside as cover—a simple task in the confusion and bloodshed.

As you escape the Grand Lodge, wyvarans, yetis, extraplanar humans, and more rush about the walled campus attacking their Pathfinder oppressors, releasing more of the caged menagerie, and setting fire to structures.

Only a short while later, you watch from a safe distance with the rest of Absalom as the northwest tower of Skyreach tears free from the castle and begins gently floating and orbiting the campus as flames and smoke fill the evening sky.

"Serves them right." An old man standing next to you in the crowd spits out. "One day those graverobbers will learn to mind their own business and stop stirring up so much damn trouble for the rest of us."

Over the course of several hours, the Pathfinder Society gradually subdues most of their Aspis assailants, restores some semblance of order, and even recovers the Sky Key. These are nevertheless hollow victories, for the Society’s access to the Hao Jin Tapestry demiplane is crippled, the Master of Spells is forever dead, and the Grand Lodge that was once the pristine home for Pathfinders worldwide is scarred and scorched. The Aspis Consortium celebrates your success.

In the coming weeks, scattered across Golarion once again, each of you receives a missive from your respective contact.

Missive:
Congratulations on a job well done. You have played a key role in ending an era of Pathfinder Society aggression and heralding a new age of Aspis Consortium dominance. You shall each receive compensation as promised, and in the coming months, the Aspis will certainly have more work for you. Please stay in contact as you enjoy your new found infamy.

End of scenario. Thank you all for playing (and staying through the extended timeframe). Make sure I have an email for you and I will get the chronicles out this weekend.
