Guys I seriously have no idea who to bring to this lol. I have one character who's level 1.2 and needs to be rebuilt, but I've been drawing a blank for two weeks on what I should make him that sounds fun and that I don't already have. Aside from that, my only level 1 characters are Core-- one is playing Siege of Serpents so he'll be awhile, and the other might be awhile too (it's a regular scenario but has been pretty slow-moving).

Have you thought about any of the new occult classes? There are a few that I think you could have fun with.

Yea, I tried playing as a spiritualist. Had the geist channeler archetype, so his phantom was always incorporeal and just floated around providing a flanking bonus; the idea was that I would dip into rogue to always get sneak attacks from my incorporeal flanking buddy. It was fun, but it had one glaring weakness that became all-too-apparent in the second fight-- one of the baddies cast spiritual weapon and killed the phantom in one hit. For the rest of the scenario I was a bard with no performance or knowledge; no longer fun. :'(

That blows. Maybe the mesmerist or the kineticist?

Sorry it took me so long. Decided to go with my sandman idea for this game instead of the other; a build that probably won't have much going for it until I get more spell slots, but at least I've already got two Chronicles on him.

Do we know if anyone else from our group is going to join us for this? I figure we can give this a good kickoff after Christmas. My GD specials are just about wrapped up, and I have three other games that should close out by then so I will be good to go. Will that fit with yalls schedules?

I've been good to go since I posted haha. But yea that's fine. Um the only possibilities would be Melissa and Ian, but I don't know how likely they are to join. Might be better off pulling from Flaxseed.

Sounds good to me. That is what I figured, but I wanted to be sure and not leave anyone out. I will wait to post for recruitment until Christmas weekend

I just realized that if you count the Crypt of the Everflame game I dropped out of (which never did finish), this is my 40th PbP game-- most, but not all, have been PFS. Kinda feels like a milestone.

Nice. I agree.. a milestone! Just to let everyone know, I am good to go anytime. I told you that I would wait until Christmas to start, but I am going to open recruitment *probably* today over in Flaxseed.

To the current group: recruitment went in less than half an hour! There should be three others showing up, and I did reserve a spot for Ian, should he decide to join us. If not, five will still be a good number.

To the new group: Read the above.. we should be getting started towards the end of this week. I dislike running more than one game at a time, and my other table should be wrapping up here shortly.

Dot in, and we will get started ASAP.

This will be my 2nd level Pharasmin Summoner, and her psychopomp eidolon, Liadan. Sheets need a little bit of work before they're ready, as it's been 4 XP of GM credit so far.

I have decided to bow out. I realized that this scenario would be much better with my psychic (he worships Pharasma and is dedicated to eradicating undead), but he is stuck in another PbP game for probably at least another week. :/ I'm going to hold off and play it with him when I get the chance.

Wow. For whatever reason, the thread hasn't shown any activity under discussion, so I've been completely unaware of this entire conversation from the get-go. So from what I've gathered, the party consists of:
-wizard 1
-bard 1
-inquisitor 2
-Summoner 2

Sorry to see you go, Fox. Was there anyone else joining?

Wow, we really could use some front line support haha. Levin will be in melee but he'd make a poor substitute for a fighter-- high AC, but terrible damage output. Our inquisitor, if he shows up, is a pretty good front liner though.

We are waiting on Ian's response, and there is one more yet that needs to check in from the Flaxseed. I also messaged Fox, explaining the fluid timetable we are working with. Perhaps 6, maybe 5.. hopefully not 4!

Fox is in. His character is in the middle of Consortium Compact (Which I highly recommend, by the way..) and so we will hold to our original timeline.

GGG is bringing a Lvl 2 fighter, and GM Lari is bringing a lvl 2 summoner. Add in the Inquisitor, and I don't think that we will have a problem.

Welp, in the span of about a week I've gone from five active games down to one. This will make two.

This is my first time with this crew, at least.

Rex, we seem to have very similar tastes in characters. Skimming over your aliases, I also have

• An Amnesiac pyschic
  
• A Divine hunter with a mammoth
  
• A paladin of Apsu
  
• A paladin/sorcerer/dragon disciple (mine is in core)

If there's no immediate rush, my sheets will be coming together a little more slowly. I'm generally a GM on PBP, so I haven't managed to get a good character sheet template together yet. I'll be trying to fix that.

In the meantime, GM, if you'd like to review purchases, I'll be buying the following. This is the first actual play for this character, so it's quite a list.

The GM, the wizard, the inquisitor (if he shows) and myself all know each other. I believe that's it though.

My paladin/sorcerer/dragon disciple of Apsu is probably my favorite. The divine hunter with mammoth is pretty fun too.

I like Rex, my amnesiac psychic, but I'm still finding his personality. :)

I don't have a summoner yet. I have an idea for one; I just haven't worked it out yet.

Yea if I were to make a psychic I'd probably either make him/her an amnesiac, or resist the temptation to do so :-). It's such a strong archetype that it just makes amnesiac psychics seem clearly superior to other psychics.

Yes, we play IRL, but haven't had much of a chance of late to get together. This is a good alternative! Besides, it's fun (for me anyways) to add new personalities to the mix. We pretty much know what the others are going to do.. so when you add new people, it can change the play drastically!

Abaal: Rex is currently finishing up a game and then he will be able to join us. I would love to get started, and would have no problems getting started early, but this mod jumps into combat pretty early. I am keeping an eye on his game, and as soon as they are getting close to wrapping up, we will get moving. Under normal circumstances, I believe that his game would have wrapped up already, but the holidays pushed everything down. We will be rolling here shortly, don't worry!

No worries at all. It's just that Abaal is a bit more um, demonstrative than say Fauxish is. ;)

Oh, and the tactical map link seems to lead to a some web page that should probably be avoided by most netizens. ;)

Hmm.. the link is only giving me a circular thing between different Paizo pages. Where is it taking you?? I will fix it, I'm just curious.

Edit: HA! I get it now! lol.. I just put in a couple letters as a space saver in the URL formatting to get the link there, but I don't have the map set up yet. Yea.. that link takes you down a dark hole that you may never recover from!

On that topic, the map I have really sucks for this. Just warning yall. The grid lines were very light in the printout and did not translate well when I scanned it in. On top of that, it is such a large map that they had to really shrink it in the mod. This means I stretched it as much as I could without loosing its integrity, but its not the best.

Giving this a bump to let yall know I have not forgotten ya! We are still waiting on Fox, but I would like to get moving soon depending on what happens in his game. We also still have an Inquisitor that is MIA. Has anyone heard from him?

*Sigh* Thanks for your patience. We don't know if we have succeeded at one of the tasks in that game, so we need to decide if we should try another one or not.

That would be really problematic with the way the scenario is written. We are still waiting for one other. Lets see where we are when he shows up and I will make the call at that point.

Also, I wanted to point out that thanks to GGG, we have a much easier to read map. He sent me a link to a digital form of the map that looks much better than the meager attempt I made.
