ok a couple of things.
first I really had no idea that this would be so deadly when I made the decision to remain on the ship. (this was mainly because I was away when the whole thing started.)
second I really am sorry spoony, Noro is in the same boat in the RotRL game...
also, I do wonder If anyone knows who Luke is anyway.
Mikael de Triana
Hey, at least Noro is a) surrounded by her teammates, and b) not about to drown :P She'll be fine... unless the GM decides a coup-de-grace.
And to be fair, Luke hasn't really said more than two words to anyone, discussed anything, gone out of his way to make conversation, etc. I can't speak for anyone else, but Mikael's just sort of shrugged and moved on to more sociable folks :P
Speaking of Mickey, I'm sure he'd love to get back to the boat now >.>

Level 2
- +9 hp (assuming we're taking the average of 1/2 + 1? If you want us to roll, that's 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4, so I hope I can take the average.)
- +1 BAB, CMB, CMD
- +1 to Fort saves
- 1 new stance - inner sphere stance (when wielding two weapons, gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC and +2 morale bonus to Will saves)
- 1 new maneuver - demoralizing roar (swift action to cause one opponent to become shaken; DC 14 will negates)
- +1 readied maneuver
- Tactical presence - may be adopted as a move action.
- Indomitable presence - allies within 30 ft gain the benefits of Die Hard feat; gain warlord's CHA bonus (+3) as morale bonus to Fort saves vs. death, fatigue, exhaustion, poison effects.
- +7 skill points - acrobatics, climb, diplomacy, perception, perform (dance), profession (cook), swim
More of the same for Mickey; running out of Thrashing Dragon maneuvers, he picks up another Golden Lion. Inner Sphere Stance gives him a bit more defensive power if he needs it, and he gets a good chunk of skill points to spend on useful sailing skills, as well as the all-important acrobatics. Perform (dance) gets another raise due to his practice, and a rank in profession (cook) reflects his time with Fishguts. Tactical Presence now gives his allies a good incentive to stick close, if he takes his time as opposed to charging in.
I'm hoping to pick up Deadly Agility as my 3rd-level feat, if the GM will allow it. Two dagger attacks with outer sphere stance for 1d4+4+1d6 each sounds mighty tasty. :P

I wasn't complaining about anything, I realize that he hasn't talked much. of course I had lots going on in RL and didn't want to commit myself in stuff that I might not be able to follow through with.
since things are getting back into a normal routine again, I can get more involved in the game again.
also, we love ya no matter what.
on another note, I think I discussed the Deadly Agility feat but I don't rememeber if it was for this game.
but I remember a change was to up the pre-req to BAB +3 (Coon is this correct, or was that another game?)
GM Choon
I honestly can't remember exactly what was decided, but I think it was ruled to BaB +3 to at least bring it in line with Gunslingers and Swashbucklers (give or take, not precisely in line).
Glad to hear things are starting to fall back in line, Luke.
When youall are done leveling, please post some form of summary like Mikael has done for my reference.
Luke Kawaii Caine
Luke:
+1 Will saves
+7 HP
+1 BAB, CMB, CMD
+1 Ki pool
Combat insight: add Wisdom mod to init and reflex saves
+1 dodge to AC
new Maneuver: Pommel Smash -- makes an unarmed attack against the target's flat-footed armor class, and the blow inflicts 1d6 points of additional damage. Creatures immune to sneak attacks and critical hits are unaffected by this extra damage.
new stance: Pugilist Stance -- By adopting a powerful kickboxing stance, the initiator positions himself for lightning fast, potent strikes with his hands and feet. While in this stance, unarmed or discipline weapon strikes inflict an additional 1d6 points of damage.
+11 skill points:acrobatics, prof (sailor), Stealth, Knowledge local, Perception, Disable device, climb, swim (+2), knowledge (martial).

Ass Kisser! I think Mik should be allowed to put all his skill points into Swim!
Skills: K:Nature, Perception, Swim, Climb, Intimidate, Prof:Cook, Prof:Sailor
Combat Style: Archery
Feat: Precise Shot
Saves: +1 to Fort/Ref/Will/CMD (6/8/2/20)

Well, we tried treatment. She rallied on Saturday, but on Sunday, her body began being overwhelmed by the disease. I won't go into details or specifics (send me a message if you want that), but I took her Monday for a second opinion at a different vet. FIP was confirmed, and I was gently told that there truly was not much to be done. They could either stretch her out for a few days, or we could put her down today.
So I did the tough decision and put her down. We had several of my friends and my dad there with me, which was a great help. I cried and am still crying on and off. It's going to be a truly tough day tomorrow.
I'm going to try and post tomorrow, but if I'm needed before then, please bot me.

That really sucks. :( Losing a pet is always hard.

Hello? Anyone there? The unconscious guy would like to get this moving again :P
You underestimate my power. And the fact that apparently, people want to keep me around.
Mikael de Triana
Really, at this stage, I'd just like to be conscious and able to do something again. Whether that's through potion, spell, or simply time-warp-okay-you-can-wake-up-now-magics. Because like I said, I've been out for a looooong time now, and I'm itching to get back in! :P

Regarding the 'invisible silent Luke' thing... Wouldn't it be funny if he was always in the party, and always pulling off really awesome stunts, and everyone was just completely unaware of his presence? Like, did anyone see Dodgeball?
Dwight: We're still missing the teenage love puppy and Steve the Pirate.
Owen: Who's Steve the Pirate?
Dwight: The only guy on our team that dresses like a pirate!
Owen: Wait, there's a guy on our team who dresses like a pirate?
Okay, maybe it wouldn't be so funny for Luke, but the dumb idea makes me giggle.

I worked on the assumption that I can choose swab or rigger jobs, unless we want an Iron Chef style scenario with whatever gets washed on deck.
Actually, I want to do that now. Can I do that?

Guys I'm sorry I've had such horrible attendance recently. One of my best friends is in hospice and is about to pass any moment now from f&@!ing cancer. Anyway, everything is just blah and my motivation has been pretty low and I've been slacking on all of my games. I'll try to get my shit together soon.

Oh, Choon! Would this by any chance help us all out on those pesky Fortitude saves?
Indomitable Presence: At 2nd level, the warlord shines as a beacon to his allies on the field of battle, inspiring them to fight with him to their last breath. All allies within 30-ft. of his position gain the benefits of the Die Hard feat, and may add the warlord's Charisma modifier to Fortitude saves versus death effects, fatigue or exhaustion effects, or poison effects as a morale bonus.
From the reading of Warlord's Presence, it's an always-on thing, it just takes a move action to adopt or change it. So would this count as a fatigue or exhaustion effect? I apologise to everyone for forgetting all about this!
