Is slavery legal on this plane or in this city? Many of my faction goals deal with slavery. Frankie is very anti slavery. He was his Mom's slave at home for years... "Frankie clean your room, Frankie clean the kitchen, Frankie go get me some wine..."

I'll paste some stuff about it below:

FREEDOM FIGHTER (2+ goals): Gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls and weapon damage rolls against known slavers. For the purposes of this reward, a slaver is a creature that owns at least five slaves, is maintaining a compulsion spell or effect to control a creature for at least one day, or is explicitly cited as trafficking slaves.

*Some of the goals below:

(2/3)Liberate one or more slaves, captives, or hostages during an adventure.

(0/1)Defeat a known slaver whose Challenge Rating is at least equal to your character level. For the purposes of this goal, use the definition of slaver from the Freedom Fighter reward.

(0/1)In a region where slavery is legal, deliver a speech against tyranny, slavery, or corruption to a crowd of at least 20 participants. Doing so requires a successful Diplomacy or Perform (acting, comedy, or oratory) check (DC = 15 + your character level).

(0/2)Fulfill one of the goals above on an Elemental Plane or in pursuit of the freedom of a creature with the air, earth, elemental, fire, or water subtype. Checking one of this goal’s boxes doesn’t prevent you from checking one box for a different goal.

Frankie quickly reaches up to stop Reyshal's spell "Before you send us home I have a favor to ask if that's ok?" Frankie kicks at the ground a bit, nervously "Could you take me to where the slaves are sold? I want to say something to the people there... so they know not everyone is like their masters. Some of us care!"

Assuming/hoping he is able, Frankie will climb up on top of something so he can be seen and heard by as many people as possible and give his bestest of best speeches. Take 10 on diplomacy for a 20

"Excuse me... everyone? EXCUSE ME!" He yells to grab people's attention, waving his hands about with one of the fancy new scimitars and the gemmed cloak on his back.

"My name is Frankie, of the Ungrounded! I want to make it known that slavery is WRONG! No one deserves to be owned by someone else, no matter what they've done wrong... no matter how much MONEY they owe! We ALL should be allowed to walk with our heads held high." He raises his head and straightens his posture to his full height of three feet nothing.

"People should be paid for their work, until their debts gone! No one should be kept from playing games... from having a favorite blanket or pillow... from drinking cocoa until they puke!" He nods to the group solemnly "Yup, I've done all those things... I admit. I've been worked like a dog, I've been BEATEN like a child, and I'm still here... and I'll BE BACK!"

With that Frankie bows to his audience and hops down heading towards Reyshal "Ok, we can go when you are ready. Please help me come back sometime to help these people! But until then... lets go before someone tries to stuff me in a sack!"

I would say you should avoid the extra work on yourself unless you think there only being 4 of us would put us in dire straights.

^Agreed. If botting is easier, do that. If taking the 4 person reduction is easier, Tita can sleep off the hot cocoa while we go to court.

I imagine the DC's are probably a bit lower for 4 players, but as long as Tita is a bot we still have 5 shots to pass so it probably shouldn't be too bad.

In either case I'm willing to trust your judgement GM. Whatever works best for you I'm happy to roll with.

Who doesn't love kids? Especially little blonde haired ones that are super friendly and helpful... especially little old ladies... who the General seems to be nearing.

Frankie should go first to soften her up, I agree.

*Edit: I can make my base check with a +13, so the question is... How good a piece of evidence do you want me to use vs saving them for the next person with less of a bonus? Can't take 10 on this check.

With the confession I autosucceed exactly. With the worst evidence I'd need to roll a 4+.

We also only need 1 check per person I would think so you can wipe out most of those +3 pieces of evidence as unnecessary.

Thanks for reposting that. Ya I wanted feedback from the group since this is a group effort type of 'challenge' before I went ahead and did anything.

I would certainly start with whoever has the highest bonus to their check and hope to stack successes on those down the line. The question will be.. are we shooting for a 4/4 on this or going for a safer 2/4 or 3/4 finish?

I have a plus 7, so I should be able to use in of the lower bonus pieces but I'm worried even considering that guarantees and low roll.

Also are we getting a titabot, or is this on 4 player rules?

I'm guessing Titabot, because 20 is a darn high DC. I'd suggest Frankie takes a 3 (you can get a 4. Right? Right?!?) And maybe Ulena takes a 6? With your +2 that gives her a +16 as well. That way we have two really likely successes. And then my +3 could turn into a +12 with the note. And I have a folio reroll still. So I should be able to roll an 8.

Which gives Nigel a +10 to whatever his base is.

We might actually be able to get 3 or 4 of these...

Oh wow, that's no small feat for a 4 player group. CHA wins again!

I really enjoy the breadth of needs these PFS adventures require. Its no where near just hp/hit/damage/saves like many home brew hack n slashes.

Congratulations, you have survived 8-05: Ungrounded But Unbroken!

You had 6 of the possible 8 success points, you needed 4. The two you failed to get were both at the casino, as Inysha snuck past you with a phony "I was burned alive" story.

You convinced General bin Hanif that Captain Othis set you up for failure with 3 pieces of evidence, so you made the secondary success condition.

When I read the description, I expected lots of physical training and maybe some mock battles, but I was surprised by the amount of investigative skills that are required.

I'll report you guys ASAP and work on the chronicles today.
