Baaldryn spends a swift action to enchant his armor with Light Fortification and a free action to enchant his falchion with the Keen ability. He will spend a standard action to cast Shield of Faith upon himself and then take a 5 foot step to the side.

"Flee, weaklings." commands the drow as she weaves her hands in an ancient, arcane symbol. Everyone feels the need to run away as fast as possible.

@Faldoc: Boomer will understand if he has the Flee trick, otherwise he is oblivious to the Command. I think that is a ruling that makes sense.

Yushua moves into the room. "It is not too late to make better decisions. Feel Redemption!"

Leastrie steels his nerves, then darts into the room and swings his blade at the drow.

Yushua lashes out at the drow woman with his scimitar, but his balde is deflected by a magical forcefield. "Haha... you will have to try harder than that Dhampir..."

Leastrie tries the same, but his blade is equally turned. "How did my guards get handled by such poor Pathfinders?"

The drider weaves its hands and blasts Leastrie, Faldoc and Boomer with a gout of lightning.

Lightning Bolt: 6d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 5, 2, 6) = 28 DC 16 Reflex to halve the damage.

Rysalius flees the room back towards safety.

How does she know?! Yushua would be highly disturbed if she actually knew he was a dhampir; he is covered up except for his eyes and there's not really any other obvious thing to make him out as a dhampir (until presented with positive/negative energy that is).

She noticed your cold, dead eyes? Uhh.... (Totally forgot that you try to hide it... Added in some rolls if that helps! :D)

The drow woman is killed by four arrows to the chest and Boomer follows up the fifth arrow on the drow with a savage bite. The duergar looks pleased and just sits against the wall, silent.

The Drider who is sitting down, not holding a weapon, after you killed its master who kept it in chains and a collar?

Yushua comes in to strike down the drider and lands a brutal hit, demoralizing the creature with a single blow as Baaldryn attacks the sitting duergar, but somehow misses him.

"I think to duergar is a non-combatant." Leastrie says to Baaldryn, as he darts around the glowing tiger and swings at the drider.

Uhh.... Unexpected low roll, but Faldoc is up next and he can't have the glory.

Leastrie leaps forward and strikes his elven curve blade deep into the drider's thorax. The creature coughs up some blood as it slumps to the ground.

Ol' Timbauk just wants to escape, and makes no claim on any of the equipment (except some food and water) or other items belonging to the drow and driders—he’s as greedy as any duergar, but doesn’t want to press his luck with freedom so close. If questioned in a language he understands (Dwarven/Undercommon), he tells you he was sold into slavery by his fellows to appease Jevana’s anger at some slight, but he doesn’t hold it against them—the choice was to enslave him or risk her killing all of them. He’s been a slave for two years (and has the scars to prove it), and now he just wants to get back home.

If you try to extract promises from him (such as “never raid the surface” or “don’t attack us if you ever see us again,” he readily agrees, but beyond that he doesn’t really have anything to offer and never expects to see you again. If you let him take some food and water, he insists he can find his own way.

The bundle of Osirian artifacts from the Tilted Pyramid contains eleven items, including a headdress, a scepter, a bracer in the shape of a snake, and an embroidered vest-like garment. Returning these to the Pathfinder research team at the surface pyramid completes the remainder of your mission.

With the drow and driders dead, you have accomplished your mission. All you need to do is return to the surface, march to the Tilted Pyramid, and report your findings. The research team asks you to escort them (and some additional guards) to the Darklands Pyramid so they can map how to get there and plan a separate expedition, but after that you are free to return to Absalom and file reports.

"The drow woman lied." Yushua says as he sheaths his scimitar and turns to her companions. "I would never listen to such a treacherous witch. She chose redemption by fire and such was her fate."

Bluff: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Yushua takes some little interest in the artifacts, mostly in their value and rarity more than their historical significance. "Well done, everyone. We should report this back to the Society."

"Another successful mission! Those demons were terible, but with Iomedae's aid, we overcame them once and for all. Well done, companions!"

Leastrie looks down at his blade, then at the fallen drider, a surprised expression written across his face. Shaking his head and shrugging, he wipes the viscera off his blade and sheathes it. "Yes, well done, everyone."

Faldoc lowers his bow. Damn, why can I never get the glory...
