Hi GM Bold Strider and thanks for GMing this scenario for us!
Just reminding here that Rycky (Faldoc) and I are currently playing Hall of Heroes, so we'll be able to start when we finish that one.
I'll put Rysalius stats as soon as he levels up to 8th, that's to say right after Hall of Heroes.

I'll wait until I see what else we have before I decide between my illusionist and inquisitor. Probably go with my illusionist though tbh.

PFS # 79644-2
Faction : Andoran
Hunting Lodge (Survival) Day Job: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

Off to buy some drow bane arrows.......
Lol!
I think I'll play my illusionist by the way. From back when you needed a boon to play a wayang!
Haven't played him in forever so I'll probably need to update him.
He's mostly a trickster who plays with images to mess with the enemy. It can actually be more effective than you might think.

Yep! Sorry! Got Mordo all updated.
PFS #55162-13

are we doing low tier? i can bring a lvl 7 Ranger(6)/Hunter(1), or a lvl 8 Warpriest...

![]() |

Rysalius will be 8th level at the end of the scenario he's currently playing.

![]() |

How far are you guys along in your game? ETA?

![]() |

I have no clue, I'd say halfway through, but I haven't read that scenario, so I'll let you judge.

![]() |

Ah. You've got quite a ways to go then. A few more encounters iirc.

![]() |

Whoops! I almost made a big mistake. I just realized today that Mordo has my GM credit from this adventure so I can't play him. I'll have to see who else I have once everyone is ready to play. It will probably be my dhampir inquisitor.

![]() |

It looks like our previous scenario is over, but we haven't received our chronicle sheets yet. As soon as we get them, we'll be able to start.

![]() |

Just letting you know that I'll be away for one week - on vacation - so please DMPC my character as appropriate. I'll be back on the 17th April.
Rysalius usually opens a fight with inspire courage, unless there's need for a countersong. He doesn't hesitate to cancel it with timely inspiration or saving finale since he has the Lingering Performance feat.

I have enough PP to do the raise and neg level buy off, pls reflect that on the chronicle sheet when the scenario is complete. Thanks.

Faldoc: 11
Rysalius: 8
Leastrie: 7
Yushua: 10
Baaldryn: 8
11 + 8 + 7 + 10 + 8 = 44 / 5 = 8.8 which rounds up to 9 (between subtiers)
For scenarios written in Seasons 0 to 3, when the APL is in between subtiers, a party of six or seven characters must play the higher subtier. Parties with four or five characters must play the lower subtier.
I think we should be in the low subtier.

![]() |

Wait, we weren't playing low subtier?

GM Bold Strider |

We were not. This has been high tier because I forgot that there is the clause separating the seasons. I knew it was rounded between the tiers, but I thought the deciding factor was if there was someone in the high subtier.
Proposed fixes:
-Baaldryn is alive.
-Boomer is alive.
-Current monster is dead. (It would have been a Young Vrock which would have been killed in Faldoc's first volley and wouldn't have done enough damage to kill the pet.)
Apologies for the issue. Everyone ready to move on with these changes?

![]() |

Sure, no worries about the mix-up. That would explain why I found this scenario rather hard for a season 1.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

That sounds like a reasonable fix to me to keep things moving. I probably would have done something similar.
And I've messed up subtiers before; one time I accidentally ran the 1-2 boss for a group of 4-5. They obviously killed him quickly and I didn't notice my mistake until I started filling out chronicles. Whoops! Oh well, no one noticed or cared so no harm done in the end I guess.

Thanks GM! Fun time! And this means Faldoc is ready for Eyes of the Ten, right?

![]() |

Fantastic, thanks a lot Bold Strider! That was a fun one, especially the flying bit.
