Hopefully that game has gone smoothly and I hope the same for the other players here.
When people have a chance to check in, I'll be curious to know a bit about everyone's characters and the unique tricks and rules they will be bringing to the table.
I will also want to double check that people have botting instructions for your characters in the case that you miss a day or so of posting for any reason.
Let me know if you have any questions before the game starts.

GM Blazej |

I'm glad to have you both.
Helikon mentioned playing B and I'm assuming LucianC's Jackson ended up playing B as well.
Have any of the rest of you played part B, part A, or neither of them?

GM Blazej |

Alright. Unless told otherwise, I will assume people have played some version of this adventure.
It is reasonable to say that you might find an amount of this familiar. Don't let this discourage from playing an active part in the party. I know I have the issue that, when presented an adventure I am familiar with, I step back to let other people make the defining decisions for the party. If any of you have that same inclination, I would recommend holding back on that desire because I certainly want you all to participate.
This isn't to suggest spoiling sections of the adventure other people might have not played. Just that you shouldn't minimize your own voice because of your own prior knowledge this adventure.

![]() |

Hi everyone - sorry I'm a bit late to the game. Chaine has played both A and B and somehow feels compelled to go through this again! there must be a cumulative boon involved or something... ;)
Chaine is a mounted cavalier with the full suite of mounted feats that allow him to charge in most situation (through friends, through enemies, can make a turn of up to 90 degrees as part of the charge, can make the charge attack at any point during the move as long as there's at least 10 feet of distance covered before and after the attack).
The horse mount is called Silvermane. The horse is trained to receive the 'air walk' spell. If anyone can cast this Chaine and Silvermane will love you. My handle animal and ride skills are pretty good so if you have fly but not air walk, it should be fine as well via Handle Animal checks.
Because charging is his thing, Chaine is rarely in any one spot on the map. He welcomes any caster who wish to hitch a ride (horse is charger archetype so can go full speed even in heavy loads).
Chaine is also well versed in social skills (bluff, diplomacy, intimidate, kn.nobility at full ranks).
That's about it in a nutshell.

I have a selection of scrolls I'd like to know if people can use:
Inflict Serious Wounds
Greater Magic Fang
Greater Magic Weapon
Spirit Bound Blade
Touch of Idiocy
Frigid Touch
Of course, a really high UMD might work too.
These would be for my Spell Storing Armor Spikes.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

I have done a and b just not always with this char.
Also cause my weapon is adamantium ki strike i do adamantium, cold iron, silver and magic bludgeoning damage with it.

![]() |

I have played and run A and B and have GM'd C at GenCon. But I am a barbarian and can keep my mouth quite shut about anything spoilery.

GM Blazej |

That seems more than reasonable. I trust your judgement here.
Keela: I also wanted to check with you if you have played one or both the other parts to this adventure.
I have added link to the Maps to the top of the campaign. When you have a chance go in and and check the first slide and fill in the information for your character (Names, PFS#s, Factions, Perception and Initiative).
Let me know if you have any trouble accessing or editing the Google Slides page.
I do need an image to use for Jackson as an icon for the slideshow. Let me know if I missed any icons for companions other than Silvermane.

How do we want to handle this? I'm terrible at all the required skills. The only one I have any shot at is Knowledge Local to discover, even then, the odds are not with me. I have just enough Bluff to have a decent chance to aid another.

GM Blazej |

Since that discover check has been made that isn't an option anymore, but attempting to aid another is a reasonable option.

GM Blazej |

Welcome back everyone and thank you for your patience!
When you see this, create a post either in this thread or the Gameplay thread. I'm just looking for a headcount of everyone as the game is started.
I'll update you as I find out more on more on the special.

GM Blazej |

That is understandable. I do have your character stats if need be though via email, but given the forums only came up today, I understand if it takes a bit for everyone to come back in. I apologize for not getting everyone's contact info beforehand. If I had this would have likely been a smoother transition back into the game.

GM Blazej |

The special is up and running again, I'm more confident of the forums after a few hours of them being up today. I'll be having the giant take it's action and opening up initiative a bit while people still find their way back to the game or past remaining glitches in the system.
I have put my email on the character slide of the Maps links. Send me an email if you having any issue connecting to the forum.
Thank you!

GM Blazej |

Chaine: Looking at your last charge attack, it looks like you quintupled the bonus damage 4d8 from Twinhorn Allies.
My understanding is that extra damage like this isn't multiplied.
As I was going through this I also saw you are also doing this for your valiant damage as well. Is there a reason why any of this should be multiplying on either the spirited charge or critical hit that I should know about? Both would appear to me to be extra damage dice over the weapon's normal damage.

GM PDK |

It's the way it's been done as long as I've played the character, i.e. previous Solstice Scars included. You're the GM so I don't have access to the Twinhorn Bonus description but if it says the actual weapon does more damage (as opposed to producing extra dice of damage due to a fire, cold, electricity, etc. effect) then the base weapon is multiplied accordingly.

![]() |

Passing an Aid token to you folks. It has been boosted with Healing.

GM Blazej |

I do think that the valiant are extra dice and not direct increases to the weapon damage. With that said I treat the valiant damage as you have been running it for this adventure rather than debate this with myself.
=
For clarity, the Twinhorn Allies grants the next successful melee or ranged attack made by each PC gain the benefit of the boosted Allied Offensive aid token effect which I'm listing below.
Allied Offensive: Other Pathfinders aid your attack, increasing the damage you deal by the listed amount (3d8). After the attack, anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking until the beginning of your next turn.
Boosted Effect: Increase the damage dealt by 1d8, and cross out the boost.
From the context of the situation, they are not making your weapon deal more damage, the Twinhorn are aiding increased the damage of the attack itself.

GM Blazej |

As you can see from GM Paladin's post we have just received an Aid Token (with boosted healing)
You all might be familiar with Aid Tokens already. They can give a number of benefits listed in the link below. Let me know if you want clarification on how Aid Tokens work.
For Timely Inspiration the bonus from the inspire courage will be +3 (competence to attacks and weapon damage rolls, morale on saving throws vs charm or fear)
It can be used once before it is sent to another table. We want to make sure it is used quickly in any case.

GM Blazej |

I do regions hope this was the last outage but, in case it is not, I put my email in the Google slide show. If you message me and something happens to the site I will be able to notify you there is you already not in contact with me.
You can also find me in the Discord for the online organized play if you rather contact me there.
I am very sorry for how the forums have been acting and how slow I have been to get in contact with you all.

GM Blazej |

We have been given permission to continue the game of site if the forum is unavailable. I've created a link to the Google Hangout and put it on the first nap slide. Please clock it to look that group in case the site does go down.
If that won't work for you let me know and I'll try to work or another alternative.
Thank you!
Blazej

GM Hmm pointed me towards the PFS Chapter of Myth Weavers. I highly recommend it too!
Click here for the location of the PFS boards on the Myth Weavers site
Click here for a step-by-step guide to add your character on the Myth Weavers site in 10 min or less

GM Blazej |

Alright, I'll handle your turns. Hopefully you can get access soon.
Sorry my own slow response time during the weekend. I will admit I was half expecting the site to go down as I was posting between events. I'll be up and going at full speed again and hopefully this will all be great from here on out.

GM Blazej |

Glad for that. Poor connection can make posting nearly impossible especially for common actions.
I did just push into the next combat, but I did want to check with the group given a lack of response. I would do it on the Hangout, but you aren't all there. Which I can understand since the site hasn't gone down again as of yet.
I want to make certain if everyone is alright, confirm if everyone is available and if anyone is out for a number of days. I didn't want to hold up the group for a day as I ask a few questions on where to go next. Was this last question just at a bad time of the day for people or another reason?
I want to make sure that the game is as fun as possible as we go forward so I'm not complaining, but trying to keep the game moving.

![]() |

Still here and waiting for Chaine's next turn! :)

GM Blazej |

Hopefully the notifications for the gameplay are fixed for you Chaine after that last post. Otherwise I don't have a good idea how to fix that problem.

![]() |

Now you have an aid token!
***Token #2***
Passing Aid token to: Blazej
Current Boosts: Healing and Allied Offensive
