Kyra readies an attack around the corner of the door. Note: the door itself is not a factor (consider it pushed to the wall), but the hard corner provides cover and prevents AoO. The ready would go at -4, but still valid.

Andraste delays.

Aelfward steps back and hurls a tanglefoot bag at the lady, hitting her squarely and tangling her in a glob of tar and resins.

Andrazi steps into the doorway where Aelfward just stood and attempts to trip her. She almost keeps her footing, but the tar on her feet causes her to lose her balance and she falls to the ground (prone and entangled).

Diplomacy per CRB is generally ineffective once in combat unless you have some special feat. However, she appeared to be considering the offer...just before she fell.

Raoul, Jory (and Andraste) can go before her.

Andraste shoots her crossbow at the prone woman, but is not very likely to hit anything.
Due to medium armor I can't even attempt to acrobatics past her, so this was about my only option since she's in a confined space.

Jory steps up and guides one of his two arrows around the pair of warriors, hitting the woman a she struggles against the sticky mess holding her to the floor.

With the arrow, her body goes limp on the ground, bleeding out of a pair of wounds.

Al takes a cure light wounds potion from his pack and pours it down the mages't thoart. "Now would be good time to surrender, it's a really good decision on your part. Plus let me point out that the offer of a spa day and a night on the town is still on the table."

You have no problem taking the wand from her and binding her. Getting to her other gear will take some time due to all the tar and resin covering her.

Once healed enough to regain consciousness, she refuses to speak and surrenders without resistance.

Looking down the hallway where she fell you see...

This short hallway rises in a slope to the east. Five
feet from the western door, the floor is polished and
shiny, unlike the dusty floor elsewhere. A pair of
stone statues depicting stern men wielding glaives
stand in alcoves north and south of this section of
the hallway. At the eastern end stand two stone
doors, their faces carved with strange runes. Just
past the doors is a third alcove in which a partially
collapsed statue sits. The top half of the statue is
missing, leaving behind a ragged stump of a torso.

Andrazi tries to grab the bars as he falls, but they raise back into the ceiling as he lands on the rocky floor 10' down.

On a happy note, Aelfward seems to have figured out how to disarm the trap so the pit lid does not close on top of Andrazi.

If we can move around the trap and through the squares with the statues she'll try to move up her full 20' (I believe that puts her just to the side of the door). Otherwise she'll just step 1 square south.

Jory retreats ten feet to get enough space to jump across the pit (now automatic) and end up near the corner with the evil lady. He takes a shot even though she has cover from the corner with a thistle arrow.

The woman before Jory in the doorway wears evil-black armor,
wields a wicked bastard sword. Her left hand has been transformed
into a red demonic talon. With the exception of her demonic
hand and her scarred belly, the rest of her body
is incongruously beautiful. With the silver hair, violet eyes,
and shapely figure of a angel or aasimar. (see photo on map)

Almost slaughtered on the spot, Jory feigns death.
He prepares to go full defense if attacked.

Jory had mage armor and was ac22--if he is still up from dodging the dog, he would be retreating. If too late to change--keep my actions as is.

Jory, I was working from the status on your profile. If you update it to include your current AC that helps me (and you). I will keep the dog attack since I forgot to include the +1 for higher ground (since it is flying above you. So it would have still hit AC22. I have it noted for next time though. :-)

Jory lies perfectly still below the gaze of the ferocious flying hound.

Kyra still has an action before the hound goes. If I do not see a post in the next few hours, I will assume she channels to heal the party.

Kyra is able to fight off the dog slobber and retains her composure while lying prone.

These dogs were 'gifts' and are not summoned creatures, otherwise prot v evil would have prevented the bite.

Andrazi climbs up out of the pit, provoking from the flying hound.

But the dog snaps at air as Andrazi ducks below it's brown fangs.

Andrazi, not sure where you intend to end up with your movement...Both statue squares are open but you would be squeezed. Otherwise, you can move forward to stand next to prone Jory, in the doorway facing the swordswoman, or move back into the room. I will delay Aelfward's action until your position is established.
