I'm back!
For chronicle filling purposes:
Player Name: Andrew
Character Name: Chip
PFS Number: 43439-54
Track: Normal Track
Day Job: Profession (Scribe): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

![]() |

Player: B Viggers
Character: Oggil
PFS Number: 100387-15
Track: Normal
Day job:woodcutter: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 50gp

GM Aarvid |

Electra, does the mantle add to intelligence? I can see the fox cunning adding +4 to your base INT of 21 (25 total), but was not sure what the mantle does...I could not find it in PRD.

![]() |

And I have the second part finished too, so I add +2 to int.

GM Aarvid |

Well double crud...
1) I was entering the session and noticed I still need Varian's PFS #
2) I also noticed Electra was showing up as a standard character instead type of core.
I tried to cancel out of the session, but it looks like it saved first and may have converted all of our core characters as standard (including my GM one)
I will submit to the admins and see if they can fix the issue.
Hopefully they are able to resolve this quickly.
GM Aarvid

How can I take care that Electra stays core?
I have always played her as core character in core groups.
I have reported and asked to fix the problem.

![]() |

@Electra: It probably means that, at some point in the past, either a) someone accidentally used a non-CORE PC in a game, or the GM accidentally logged the game as non-CORE game. The best thing to do is to send a message to Customer Service; they (should) eventually get around to fixing the problem.

![]() |

Actually, having a character in the session that is "Standard" (but not really standard) shouldn't convert the rest of them. It's actually how the scenario is reported (Standard or Core) that can change everyone's character.
The devs said they tested this multiple times and they say that's the only way it changes, so please make sure you didn't report it as a standard table instead of Core. A link of me asking this question
As well, I have given up on converting characters honestly. The devs don't really care enough and honestly they should just remove the whole Core/Standard from the reporting system and just have us rely on chronicles. Would be 1,000,000x better.
I have several characters who are "Standard" but have never played a standard game due to reporting errors.

GM Aarvid |

So I have reported it to Ironhelix/Jesse as someone on the boards suggested starting there first. It was the first time I have ever had it happen to me. The game was reported as core. But I agree, either take it off entirely or don't allow the option to switch between campaigns.
Nevertheless, I will report it to customer service if I don't get a response. Hopefully it will be corrected soon.

![]() |

In the early days of reporting, if a non core character was in the roster, they were all converted, but that doesn't happen any more.
I have a non core listed Core character that I've been trying to get reset back for months now. It is just very low down the priority list.

GM Aarvid |

Well, I wanted to apologize anyway. I don't want to be a GM that makes extra hassles for my players. :(
I have the certs finished. We just need to get some of the wrap up activities out of the way so I don't have to mark off a bunch of stuff. These characters should have no problem getting into Outpost.

![]() |

Actually Oggil is showing up as standard now as well in the scenario reporting.
That the chronicles say core is really the important thing.

GM Aarvid |

Yes, all the sheets do say core (Parrim out of tier).
I did not yet add Varian to the session yet (I found his #) but since he avoided the tainting the first time, I figured I'd see if this was fixed before I attached him to the session.

![]() |

Technically we are on another plane, aren't we? So "Complete a mission with at least two encounters not on the material plane" would totally be an achievable goal for FJC purposes?

GM Aarvid |

Inside the tapestry should count from my understanding. Unless this is a pocket dimension of the prime material plane.

![]() |

Would the following conditions apply:
*Successfully conclude—such as with violence, negotiation, or coercion—an encounter with an elemental creature. If slain, the elemental must have a Challenge Rating at least equal to your character level.
*Participate in an adventure that includes at least two encounters that do not take place on the Material Plane.
*Become possessed by a creature using magic jar, the malevolence ability, or a similar effect. Alternatively, permanently destroy a haunt.
*Explore an ancient site during the course of an adventure. To qualify, the original occupants must have abandoned the
site at least 1,000 years ago, and it must cover at least 2,500 square feet (a 50-ft.-by-50-ft. area).

GM Aarvid |

I think all but the third bullet app!y. Do you need all four or just one?
The mask does not posses its wearer. And there is no haunt. I am assuming killing regular undead would not qualify.

GM Aarvid |

Status from Jesse on core flip...
Paizo IT tools can flip the Core/RPG bit, but that method is not working right now.
We were promised a new tech solution, and we have backlog of PCs needing the correction once it is available to us. I'll add you to the list.
Until then, you guys can keep playing the PCs, and once the solution is implemented it will switch everything over at once.
Sorry for the inconvenience - hopefully we can get you guys fixed up here soon.
Best Wishes,
- Jesse

Many many thanks for your aid.
Could you please add Explore an ancient site during the course of an adventure. To qualify, the original occupants must have abandoned the
site at least 1,000 years ago, and it must cover at least 2,500 square feet (a 50-ft.-by-50-ft. area).
That would be most kind.

GM Aarvid |

If anyone has other faction cards needed on their chronicle let me know. I will update and post them tonight

![]() |

Faction Stuff: Nothing I can fill out this time.
Don't mean to push ya, but any chance we can get our chronicles soon if we are about done? I plan to use this character in Outpost and need time to update him.

GM Aarvid |

Yes, but I wanted to make sure you had a chance to do the right things to wrap up.
I did not want to put zero prestige on all the sheets since they are complete.

GM Aarvid |

Ok, now you have the key (assuming Ibaz doesn't die with it).
Here are the chronicles...
Let me know of any other corrections etc. There is still a bit of wrapping up, rescue of slaves and reporting back to do in order to qualify for everything listed. A couple more posts, but this way you can plan for Outpost if needed.

![]() |

Many, many thanks.
A wait Spells to trade with Varian. Could you please note the spells traded on my chronicle?

GM Aarvid |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Sorry for the rush at the end. Not the usual ending I would like to provide, but with the holidays and travel we bogged down a bit.
Spellcaster sheets have been updated with scribing. Let me know if I need to fix anything.

Perfect!
