Jimmy laughs awkwardly in return, still unsure as to what is happening
Gwenhwyfar would like to protest but she can't think of anything else but saying "Mum!" again and that would make her look stupid.
She lets her head fall on the table and sighs.
"well... Your daughter is amazing, and I would be lucky to have her, but I feel we haven't known each other long enough yet..." Jimmy says after staying silent for a while
"How about some cake. Eating something sweet might make us all more sweet again." Fiona suggests. "But only if you're done with your try at teenage rebellion."
"Yes cake please." Gwenhwyfar replies without lifting her head.
Fiona orders some chocolate cake for all of them. While they wait she teases Gwenhwyfar "You haven't passed the test yet." nodding in direction of Jimmy.
"Sorry. couldn't resist. I will stop now."
"Thank you." Gwenhwyfar replies. She hopes for the cake to come quickly so everyone will have their mouth full and be quiet for a while.
"What test would that be?" Jimmy asks curious
"How should I know? You're the one who is testing." Fiona replies.
"Here is your cake." Ameiko Kaijitsu says and places the tree plates in front of everyone. Then she moves on to the next table where she sits down with some patrons.
Gwenhwyfar takes a large bite. "Why can't life be like chocolate cake?" she thinks and takes another bite.
Meanwhile in a tree

Seeing Abomentolor being dragged to the guest house by their favourite house cleaner she decides to check on him. She ends the illusion, returning the tree to a common maple tree.
She jumps down to the ground and walks over to the guest house. She wonders that Gwen and Jimmy aren't there but maybe they are in their rooms.
Going into Abomentolor's room she finds Abomentolor and Faerveren. "Judging by your look that cleric did a lousy job." she greets the gnome.
"I'd say he went most of the way. And he didn't hand me a bill, so I'm not going to complain." Abomentolor replies.
"But tell me, what happened between us looking for my 'fan' and me waking up in Mrs. Heidmarch's office?"
"You didn't miss much. You got hit and died. I dragged you to the office and sat you into the chair. The rest was waiting for Mrs. Heidmarch to come up with a solution." Tauriell explains.
"You left out how that watch captain ended up having my murderer in custody. And don't tell me they got him themself." Abomentolor inquires.
"Her. And the poor thing ran into a wild animal. Really bad luck. I just picked her up and dragged her here too." Tauriell answers. "If she will give me away when they question her?" she worries.
"Hehe. And lucky you saved her from that animal too." Abomentolor laughs.
"I would throw a party right now but I'm a bit weak at the moment. I'm sure Gwenhwyfar could fix that but I haven't seen her. Have you?"
"They walked into the house but they are either really quiet or they left by other means than the door." Tauriell replies.
"Depending on how fast you want to get back to your original 'strength' I could go and buy something for you." Sitting on his bed and sliding a hand under the blanket she adds "But you could have a good time in bed too."
"I don't think I'm able. I feel like I would have a hard time to even lift my head." Abomentolor states.
"I'm not going to cook you chicken soup." Tauriell clarifies.
"I'll leave you alone. I'm in the next room if I'm needed." Faerveren explains and leaves the room.
"I know every single item and where it is placed in this house." Tauriell calls after her.
"How did you end up with her?" she asks the gnome.
Faerveren mumbles something that sounds similar to "Go pluck a shelf"
"Must be bad karma. Mrs. Heidmarch hired her as a babysitter. Probably to keep an eye on me. I'm not supposed to get back at that sczarny douchebag myself. The city watch captain wants to do that in a lawful way. Whatever that means." Abomentolor explains.
"What about you? Want to kick him in the guts?"
"Nope. Revenge is a dish best served cold. And it's your revenge. So we'll wait." Tauriell replies.
"I bluffed the Captain a bit. And I may end up being responsible for law enforcement in Underbridge." Abomentolor tells.
Tauriell facepalms herself. "Sounds like the reasonable thing to do." she says - her words dripping with irony.
"Yeah. Totally. But even if they shun me later and don't promote me. It was totally worth it. That sassy Kasdei shat her pants this morning and after pulling off that stunt with the chief of the watch I'll never have trouble with them again. I'm pretty sure they put a poster up with my picture labeled 'beware of the gnome!'" Abomentolor jokes.
"Or it reads shoot on sight." Tauriell replies.
"Maybe I really should invest in my safety. I'm hard to hit if I'm buffed. But if not it's too easy." Abomentolor concludes.
"Move over." Tauriell says giving him a push. "We'll call it a day. I guess this bed is safe enough for the night."
In Sandpoint

"I'm going to check with Abstalar if there is anything left that I'm needed for at the temple today. It's like I fled from there with you. I don't think it's an issue. But I'd like to make sure." Fiona explains. "We could meet in an hour or so again at home. What do you think?"
"Then I could make a short visit to Hannah. And maybe I can buy some groceries on the way back for us to cook a meal together." Gwenhwyfar suggests.
"Shall we pay then?" Fiona asks.
"That one is on me. I'll take care of that." Gwenhwyfar offers.
"Then I leave you alone now. Thank you for the invitation and see you later." Fiona says with a smile and leaves.
"Good bye." Gwenhwyfar says.
"Do you want to come along to Hannah?" she asks Jimmy. She signals that she wants to pay.
Ameiko gets up and comes over to the table. "Three meals, three times cake and how many drinks? That's 15 silver, three times 4 copper and..."
"Will two gold do?" Gwenhwyfar asks putting the coins on the table.
"Sure." Ameiko replies and snatches the coins. "Have a nice day and visit us again." she adds with a bow and returns to her conversation.
Gwenhwyfar gets up and leaves the Rusty Dragon to visit Hannah. It's only a short walk over to the shop at the end of Hook Street.
Gwenhwyfar opens the door, sticks her head in and calls "Hello?"
"Hello, what can I do..." Hannah replies as she comes up behind the counter "Oh, Gwenhwyfar nice to see you."
"Nice to see you too. I'm on a visit and just wanted to say hello. How are you?" Gwenhwyfar asks stepping into the shop.
"Fine. Same as always. And you?" Hannah replies.
"I'm fine too." Gwenhwyfar answers. Thinking about it she finds that she doesn't want to share what she experienced the last month. With her mum she wanted to share all that but now she doesn't know what to tell. "I heard Susan got twins."
"Yes. I could have used your help there. But they are a nice pair. Proper kids that gained a lot of weight already." Hannah tells.
After some small talk Gwenhwyfar says her goodbye. She buys some vegetables and some dried sausages on the way back through town to her mum's house.
"Hello. We're back!" she calls. As she gets no answer she moves to the kitchen with her groceries and starts with the cooking.
After a while Fiona comes home from the temple and together they have a nice evening before they finally call it a day.
"Shall I go sleep at the temple? Then Jimmy can have my bed." Fiona asks.
"No way!" Gwenhwyfar protests. Towards Jimmy she adds "Sorry, not today."
"I want the full program with you bringing me to bed and praying with me. No sneaking away to the temple." Gwenhwyfar demands from her mum.
"I'll put another log of wood in the hearth that you have it warm through the night." Fiona offers Jimmy before doing so and then putting Gwenhwyfar to bed.
