Tarwas:
Targeting another guy: Oops, in that case you get full temp. HP. You also get x2 for critical, right? That would put him down before Bariel/Barid (still mixing them up) even got a shot.
If that's the case, should I re-state my Round 10 actions?
Barid Naismith
I wouldn't fret too much, Tarwas. I seriously doubt that, after spending weeks putting this campaign together (even after the OP disappeared), just to have your character offed in the first battle, would actually happen.
Belsiard the Wanderer
Only if we choose to bring you back :) ...though I do have the ability to cast regenerate from my harp if we need to...so go ahead and get dismembered.
Though I do want to strengthen our little home there strengthened and safe from the sun first. So maybe hold off on the dismemberment.
Belsiard the Wanderer
yes the one that is healthiest, I am assuming that Tarwas is going to kill the named one this round and I assume he has a higher fort save as well
Ynaeve Amryln
I thought the weapon had to be +x enhancement bonus, not +x with add-ons to overcome DR.
Sorry, kids and wife been sick all weekend.
Belsiard the Wanderer
that is what I thought also. but on the other hand if it has to be a +6 I guess they do count

Belsiard's healing would have gotten rid of everyone's nonlethal damage. All healing is applied again to nonlethal!
So at 0 HP with no nonlethal, you are disabled.
Belsiard the Wanderer
it is ok. My personal feeling is as long as we have the update that we are still playing and people have not disappeared then I am happy
Barid Naismith
Usually, when a DM asks you how many HP you have, he's trying to get a measure of just how many hits you're going to take next round...:P
Barid Naismith
3!
Belsiard the Wanderer
These are my thoughts on who should get these, obviosuy if they are upgrades then we sell the old item and split the cost evenly
ring of protection +4, (All could use, Ynaeve, Bariel, Belsiard, Tarwas roll)
a cloak of resistance +5, (All could use, Ynaeve, Bariel, Belsiard, Tarwas roll)
a +5 chain shirt, (Sell, unless someone wants it)
a stone of good luck, (Barid-his goddess is that of luck, but obviously all could use)
an amulet Antaeus' Revenge. (Xaikon)
In total, the demons have 56,640 gold worth of gems and coin. divided by 5 = 11, 328 per character
Thoughts?
Belsiard the Wanderer
oops! I think Xaikon gets loot. 9440 per person!
I have a +3 Cloak and a +2 Ring
I think it goes without saying that no one gets more than one thing
I dont mean to be a dicatator about loot, but I am kind of making the exectutive decision to give loot to people who can use it best, and equally splitting the rest. It just seems fair an easy.
Also GM are you keeping XP or are we just doing occasional levels up?
Barid Naismith
I'd like a GM's call on this one: Yes, staking a claim on the stone makes logical sense, but would it interfere with my mythic item as far as the luck bonus is concerned?
Also, what does the amulet do? I'm more curious ooc than anything. I could use the +5 cloak, and would be willing to trade my +4 (and gp) in exchange for it.
GM Nightskies
XP so far: 98,160 per person. Shall we fast-track the progression? I had thought we'd do it as +1 level per GM. OTH, mythic levels means leveling happens faster. I'm leaning toward tracking XP.
Barid: Luck bonuses don't stack. It will not work with the mythic item. Antaeus' Revenge is in the spoiler- its pretty much a +4 furious amulet of mighty fists with a rage spell usable 3/day for 6 rounds each that affects the user provided he is off the ground.
Note the amulet works when the user is on the ground, but the spell won't work.
ALSO: Recuperation used with a point for an hour of rest restores half your hit points, restores all daily use abilities, but it does not restore damage caused by mythic sources. The armored vrock was mythic. So you'll have to heal the old fashioned way, any damage caused by that guy.
Barid Naismith
Ouch, that's going to really stink. I knew I should have stacked those wands beforehand...Alright I'll keep that in mind when I post on the game thread.
Belsiard the Wanderer
OK lets track xp. on theI rec the medium progression. That puts us all at 733, 160 of 635,000 and at 0/3 Greater Trials and 1/6 Lesser Trials towards Mythic Tier 6
Updating my recommendation for items.
Amulet-Xaikon
Stone-Bariel, Belsiard, Ynaeve, Tarwas (note Belsiard REALLY would like that, also considering how I stayed out of combat it might make more sense than the others)
Ring-Bariel, Belsiard, Ynaeve, Tarwas, Barid
Cloak- Bariel, Belsiard, Ynaeve, Tarwas, Barid
Chain Shirt-Sell 2104 gp 1 sp 7 cp per person (unless someone wants)
Note that I will just roll for us all if no one objects to the above recommendation by tomorrow
Tarwas, E’Sum Tel Myth Drannor
I doubt we can buy/sell right now, since there doesn't seem to be any merchant nearby.
I already have an +5 cloak, so no need for that.
I fear the armor is Large instead of Medium, otherwise I could (and most likely would) use it until we get to a shop to buy something more fitting.
I already carry a Luckblade, the stone thus would be less worth for me than for most others.
I already have a +2 ring. While +4 is clearly better I would also be ready to pass it up.
I REALLY don't need the amulet :)
Besides that I would advise against using the Lesser Trials.
Well, first of all, we didn't declare which we are trying to archive before this combat and thus wouldn't get anything.
But most importantly: They are freaking unbalanced in how hard they are to archive. Some like "outmatched" or "boon giver" can be done at any time without any problem (just put a teammate into plate armor and let him try to hide a few times.... just cast haste...) while others like "Resilient caster" are almost impossible without some kind of elaborate setup.
Also if you want to use lesser trials, then I've already fulfilled 3 or 4 of 6....
And it would make it pretty likely that I would regain at least one Mythic Point in any bigger combat, which could also be slightly unbalancing.
Edit: Btw., are you sure that recuperation, if used for the one hour rest, doesn't restore Mythic Damage? I would read that in a way that only the "full after 8 hours" part doesn't work against Mythic Damage, as the use function comes after the caveat in the form of "In addition...", making it seem unrelated to the caveat.
Well, in the end it's GM call.
Belsiard the Wanderer
o thise trials were nixed in the erata. I thought it was just gm choice on what counted now. There def is no declaring of the trials anymore.
I figured killin a mythic char and other things as chosen by dm counted.
Tarwas, E’Sum Tel Myth Drannor
But for those "as chosen by DM" things there are the greater trials :)
If you go by the update (so no lesser trials) then they are only replaced by "if a character does anything great, give him an Mythic Point if you want". Thus, in effect, they are just gone.
GM Nightskies
Yeah, no lesser trials. I could see Tarwas earning a point, as he was using significant abilities/magic and putting himself in danger just about every round he could. Thinking about it again, this might be worth a greater trial. (reconsidered: no, too spontaneous)
It seems to be the intent that the recuperation ability as a whole does not restore mythic damage. While I'm GM for now, I'm not -the- GM. How do you guys feel 'bout it as a whole? One or two mythic creatures should be expected every combat. Were this a face to face game, I'd say 'nope', but we don't have that limitation, so let's vote on it. Ultimately, is it good or bad for this campaign for it to be one way or the other? On one hand, we are light on healing, and on the other hand, this gives the party reason to treat mythic opponents with all due respect.
Unless you guys somehow avoid it, you should meet someone you can buy/sell things to/from.
Belsiard the Wanderer
ok I vote we just can do away with the lesser trials. Why dont we target one major trial per GM
I also think that unless we are dealing with a major combat (ie a mythic dragon or something) then the healing should be maxed out. I mean Belsiard could probably heal eeryone with his spells or at least close to it.
When I wake up tomorrow I will roll for the loot, and just assume that Belsiard is able to sell the gear.
DM can you let me know what the warehouse looks like now that it has been upgraded (100 workers for 3 days is the equivalent to what I did)
Belsiard the Wanderer
I figure, that at the rate we are going during my turn as GM (the next one) we will hit level 16.
Belsiard the Wanderer
OK rolling-using order from above to avoid any monkey business
Amulet-Xaikon
Stone-Bariel, Belsiard, Ynaeve, 1d3 ⇒ 2 Goes to Belsiard
Ring-Bariel, Ynaeve, Tarwas, Barid 1d4 ⇒ 4 goes to Barid
Cloak- Bariel, Ynaeve, Tarwas, 1d3 ⇒ 1 Goes to Bariel
[ooc] Please list whatever items you had here, and Bel will go sell them off, and then I will repost how much money we get total per person.
Xaikongives up his AoMF +3 to be sold
Ynaeve Amryln
I'm fine. I really want time or merchant to trade in my armor bracers for celestial armor, since I can now use the later with mythic abilities.
I have a +5 cloak a luck stone and a +3 ring already.
Barid Naismith
I am okay with leaving things the way that they are presently, Nighskies. As for the ring, I'm going to swap it out for my +3 ring that I currently own. Does anyone need it, before I just sell it off?
With the ring(s), I also have a Ring of the Ram, 2 Immovable Rods, a Trap-Stealer's Rod, a Belt of Physical Might (CON, STR), +4 Amulet of Natural Armor, +4 Cloak of Resistance, a Type II BoH, an Efficient Quiver, and the Handy Haversack. What I don't have are items (wands preferred, but potions in a pinch) that can cure me, outside of using my mythic abilities. My HP is below 20% and I'll need a full Heal to bring me back up, thanks to that mythic vrock.
EDITED
Belsiard the Wanderer
Belsiard could use the +3 Ring and sell his +2 for party funds (unless someone needs the +2 ring, I will also certainly let someone else have the +3 if it is an upgrade)
Currently being sold is the
AoMF+3 for 18,000
RoP +2 for 4000
plust chain shirt already in the selling for a total of
5771 per person

I've removed the +3 ring from my inventory, but I have not yet added any of the gold to my inventory yet, except as notes that it will be added at an appropriate time.
Belsiard the Wanderer
yep will do. Bariel did you have an old cloak that you are selling since you jsut got the +5?
Belsiard the Wanderer
OK then the +5 moves to Barid, I will take his +4 and sell my +3.
Note I got a TON of loot, so I will abstain from the next round, unless no one casn use it at all.
6521 per person is the finaltally of gold per person.
DM are we able to find an purchase clerical wands...such as a wand of lesser restoration? I will purchase one for the group out of my funds. Though Tarwas will heal his damage with some rest.
