It was nice gaming with you AJ, hope you had a great time. I know I did. Also, hopefully I'll see you at gencon next year too!
As for the next game, I'm ok with playing the confirmation, just to get the wayfinder. I haven't played wounded wisp, so I would be more excited to play that, but I'm too greedy and want that wayfinder.
Most of all, I don't want to continue playing the first steps trilogy. I can't get excited to continue along the trilogy if we are not going to get credit. Also, and same as Steve pointed out above, I really would like the two new dudes to have a good time and I think getting them some experience points and a level would do a much better job getting them hooked. I know for me, getting those chronicle sheets is super exciting each time and gives me the drive to want to blast through more games. So my hope would be to not do the rest of First Steps (at all), and then maybe we could more easily hook the new dudes.

So... cool beans that those guys have First Steps already!
Looks like the next game is The Confirmation. After that, if we want to play the Wounded Wisp together, then that will have to be next (or I'll need to play a different 1st level character, or slow track, or something). Otherwise Consortium Compact.
If the consensus is to skip First Steps 2&3 for now, I can potentially run it later on down the line when Isle of Dread or RoW wrap up. I can backstory the first part, and do a quick plot-driven run through of the second parts for these characters as they were at level 1. :-)

I couldn't get the chronicles scanned last night. I've got them ready in a neat little pile next to my computer though...
I will have them this weekend for sure. I will get the next thread up this morning so you guys can dot in and start chatting. Also so the new guys will have a place to dot in to.
@ Chris L. - Can you please make sure Seth is ready to go this weekend? I will have Aaron ready to rock as well.
My goal is to try to kick off the Confirmation sometime early next week.

As I have played neither - anything is good with me. We know I am frugal so the free wayfinder is cool as I have bought them for my other characters.
I also agree with Lockwood, about hitting Season 6 or 7 and skipping the first steps 2 & 3.

Wait, did I see Damien talking about making it up to Minnesota for Con of the North? Now, you've got me hoping!
If so, I'll let you know, Damien, that we've still got plenty of GM slots available (including the special, since you've already played that). I also currently have room in the block of rooms I have reserved. Just let me know ASAP if you'll want to be in on it.
On for the games...
I am fine playing The Confirmation... it can always be fun. But I am willing to sit this one out so that we're not overloading the table. I cannot play The Confirmation or The Consortium Compact at level 2.

@Jack: I really need to know about Vegas in January first. If it falls through (and it might) then I can come. If not, then it's going to be far too hard to go to both so close together. I'd say don't save a room on my behalf. I'll figure something out when I know for sure about Jan-vegas.
Damn. No cheapo Spirit flights then, either. Getting trickier.

@Damien - if you come, we'll make it work for you to have a place to stay. Even if you need to share a bed with Keith. I know you were pretty comfortable laying on him before...

Aaaaaand here are your chronicles. (finally... I know)
Aaaarraaaahhh!
So no matter what we do, if we add the Consortium Compact, it will end up leaving someone out at some point.
I really want to do that one, since low tier season 7s were the reason for these characters.
Unless I messed something up in my calculation, the scenario path that has the least amount of people missing something due to already playing an evergreen at level 2, is to do Consortium Compact/Wounded Wisp next, then play Confirmation at level 2. (in fact, I think I want to do CC next, since it will be fresh and new for everyone except Jack)
Jack - If we did it that way, would you be able to add a chronicle to Ifran that wouldn't mess with the plans and schemes for this group moving forward? And would you be ok with not being able to do that one?
I'm trying to find the path of least resistance. This also gives everyone some time and separation from Confirmation, as it seems like everyone has played it recently (or is playing it now)
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED YOUR CHRONICLE!!! I will shut the thread down once everyone has checked in as receiving it.
Thanks again for playing everyone! Constructive criticism always welcome. :)

@ GM_PapaSteve: Edgar's chronicle sheet is downloaded. I think he should be all set.

![]() |

@GM_PapaSteve I am pretty sure I can make that happen. Worst case is that I'll throw a GM credit his way.
Chronicle downloaded.

All good. Thanks again :)
