Present.
I have a few questions about the system, I remember you mentioning we can only command our Servants but not fully control them, are these simply our orders to them? Whether they do them or not entirely depends on their loyalty, independent action, mad enhancement, etc?
Are we allowed to make our own *a sections? Since I noticed you didn't add any defensive orders like guard evade disengage or counter.
Is there a limit to skills and phantasms per bout? I'm assuming both cost the Master mana so spamming it wouldn't be a good idea, but some classes rely on spells like Caster, would they have mana reduction costs?
How would Servant's passive skills play into this? Like Instinct or Eye of Mind, would that come before the fight? Such as you PM'ing the player or simply the Servant mentioning it to the Master in a post before his set of attacks what attacks would be best? Or will the Servant do the best course of action even if it goes against the Master's commands?
Finally what if the Master and Servant are separated or busy and unable to give commands? Would the Servant be less effective being on auto-pilot?
Sorry for the tons of questions. And I'll be making my post soon.

To answer some of your questions Amelia:
The "a section" is actually not a strictly speaking "commands" section, it is in fact the choices in a rather complex (ive seen the set up) rock paper scissors system, which you use for both offense and defense
(note all the following examples are from the previous game and may not hold up or have been changed)
for example, Rush will always lose against invitation as when someone rushes into a trap they will get caught
however, Invitation always loses to feign, and rush will always win against feign
sometimes this matches arent straight forward "A beats B" if two people choose rush, then they would both roll initiative, and the winner of the roll gets the hit (this is also why when you attack you roll initiative, use versus and power)
sometimes this can be changed by what you put in sections b and c, but for the most part when considering two equal opponents the a section doesnt change and its very vital
so no, for that section you can't make up your own commands
But when you auto win versus their attack you are "countering", when neither of you hit you are "dodging" (or parrying) when you both hit you are "engaging" etc etc it is for this reason that you don't have complete control of your servant, rather you are giving them an idea of what you want them to do and they will do a fitting attack which interacts with the other servant's attack
I don't know if this is still true, but in the last game the number of skills you could use per bout was entirely based on your mana (ie mana is the only dictating factor)
For the passives its usualy best to remind the GM that you have them :P even if in theory they should "always be active" everyone is likely to forget
Auto-pilot can be risky, namely because if your servant is in trouble you have no way to help them, usually they will be as efficient in auto-pilot (I've seen some Servants control a whole room full of servants on their own, though they had independent action) but their support network wont be their so yeah not recommended unless necessary for a plan. If you have to I would suggest pre-made battle plans and contingencies for your Servant.
and as always questions are always welcome :) I'm more then willing to help you, I'm a good friend of the GM, I know a lot of the info about the game, and I'm not as busy as he usually is so feel free to PM me with questions (I also have more immediate access to him to ask him stuff)

@.Damian: yes you can do ether but some people like having abbreviations so I gave a set to unify the chaos
and go ahead and post since everyone else seems to be lost. the important part has past
@Amelia Abendroth Martelli:
Most of what is above is correct, however I have changed some of the Auto win stuff specifically so Damian can't cheat. I will not be telling you what auto wins what so you can't cheat by looking at another players battle statistics.
Guarding would be Engage, Invite, or Strike while Dodge would be Zoning, Feign, or Invite (but again this are also ways to hit like Damian said above)
The only restriction on Skills and Phantasms is your Servant's Mana reserve they will mostly start using less and less expensive spells and skills as there Mana gets lower
Mad Enhancer limits the skills a servant can use. Independent Action allows the servant to change its mind about using or not using skills and Phantasms. this means your servant will use skills when it is most opportune, but also means you have no control and thus can't plan as well
Passives are all reflected in the results and damage. for example if your servant has Intuition, and they lose in a round they will sustain less of an injure than if they did not have the skill, like turning a fatal wound into a grazing cut.

So sorry about the lack of posts recently, school's been keeping me occupied and will continue to do so for the next two weeks, I'll try to find time to reply but I'm catching up with both topics.
That format looks... really confusing I agree but the simplified forums Damian posted helps out a bit! I'll study it a bit more once I have time, I'm terribly sorry again!

It's alright. I'm just glad to hear from you again.
To the other people yet to respond. Even if you can't post, It's nice to get a discussion post of just 'high' or something so we know we aren't abandoned.

And if you are lucky you may even get to meet his King in his shop

Cries. First dead end and it's only day one, I need to be more careful with this stuff sobs. Sorry about my amateur skills on not noticing what to do but I was just... WAIT WHAT. When I saw the most recent post (should have trusted my gut feeling =3= )
Welp time to go back and be more aggressive, which I ultimately first thought that would provoke battle and be bad, but that turned a complete 180 on me.

Just like the VN hugh =3
Everyone should read the example just for the hoot of it and the Taiga dojo so If you ever get a DEAD END you can usually just undo your most recent post. or you may chose to go back to any save before that, which isn't followed by [SAVE CLEARED]

Alright I'm back from camping.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I have contacted all of the players who don't seem to have fallen off of the face of the earth to come back and play; I'm giving them a little bit. Otherwise I'm also trying to bring in new players to take them over, or also start making characters of their own. So yeah.
Hopefully this works >.>

Servant Watcher |
sorry for the wait, I had sh** tone of work to do X(
that should have taken care of everyone who was waiting for me.
I'd appreciate it if everyone can post something once a week to let people know they are still playing but busy. So we don't start looking for a replacement for you while you're studying for finals. We'll give you warning, and this is optional, but yeah we like to keep our players playing.
