As Zegenva Delen barely standing falls but before she falls see sees the Golden chains erupt again this time binding the Annis Hag. and burning it's flesh.
As your unconscious, you see everything in a grey scale color and see a city and it is raining. Inside of the city you see two points of colour one red and one blue, and go to the Blue one. When you arrive at the point you see a tall, man wearing a blue and white cloak and hood walking around taking note of everything happening around him and the people don't notice him.
He suddenly encounters a male gnome and says to the gnome as he passes by.
"The Judgement has been decided, If I were you Mr Hildrinsocks I'd leave and not return."
as he continues walking he says to himself
"The Law is the Law. For Sin there is punishment. I know you tried to find 10 righteous people here and failed, even going so far as to try putting some on the path to redemption to stop the Judgement."
You feel like you wake up and see your in a building in ruins at night, and see a winged woman facing you and says to you.
"Wake up Adroushan, you have a job to do. You helped those two even though you were outmatched so I gave you a hand and saved you.
Though you are a child of darkness and are lukewarm which my Lords hate. You have this in your favor, You work for the people and help them even those that others would abandon.
So I say to you continue being a shield for the people and continue receiving his grace."

"Wake up Mr Ghrymm, you have a job to do. You helped those two even though you were outmatched so I gave you a hand and saved you.
My Lords are not liking you using your forbidden arts and bend death to their will, but know that even those in the shadows can be made to be in service to him as an instrument of his wrath.
And don't think of using the forbidden arts to awaken or empower an Army of Darkness.
As your unconscious, you see everything in a grey scale color and see a city and it is raining. Inside of the city you see two points of colour one red and one blue, and go to the Red one. When you arrive at the point you see a tall, curvy, and beautiful woman walking and talking with people; most people rebuff her words and some of the men make advances on her and quickly learn she's not an easy target for their lustful desires.
After a while of attempting to talk with people does she have a deeply saddened face.
See says to herself
"Not even 10 righteous people exist in this town, so the Judgement shall be done."
she looks up and says something
"I pray Mr Hildrinsocks and the rest get out of here, for I've done what I could to postpone this judgement to let those few righteous folk here have time to escape."

"Wake up Ashlyn Farwynd you have a job to do. You helped those two even though you were outmatched so I gave you a hand and saved you.
Well this is surprising, Seeing an Erinyes following a light but seeing as how you were once mortal and still have your soul untainted is surprising. I can understand you quite a lot."
You notice something in the distance a spot of light and it is a building of light.
The Winged woman looks to where your looking then faces you again and adds
"Ah You can see the Throneroom of my lords, whom even allow one lowly such as I an opportunity for redemption and to work for him.
If you can see it, it means my Lords may be wanting you to see something or know something.
So do you wish to see the Throneroom or ask one question?
This question can be about; The Man in Blue, The Woman in Red, Myself, any question related to your current task or anything about Falcon's Hollow itself"

While I commend your bravery and to do what is right, you jumped into that fight foolishly.
You also look for everlasting water, which only my Lords can give."

You've been through much, resisted your shadow, and not lost your way too much, sans the rare stealing to survive.
You've wandered and are looking for a place to settle, you cna settle in these lands so long as you act righteously and help defend the land."

Anatoli Ghrymm |
Mahonrai |
If you are talking about the judgement of Falcon's Hollow, I think your determination that there are less than 10 good people there is wildly in error. My friend Joanne is still there, as are healers that I met, some good people that need healing, and several children... and those are only the people that I observed in one afternoon in the town. To me, you appear to be the foolish one. Goodness and kindness is almost never foolish, but destruction frequently is.
I have no questions of you or your lords. If you and they presume to judge me foolish over an afternoon spent on Earth in the service of others, I am sure that my desires are irrelevant to you. Tell me what YOU wish me to know or release me to return to Sinashakti. I care not which. I am a young angel, and I am sure that I have much to learn, but I will not be your pawn.
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
The woman replies
"Fire can create shadows, and the power to purge can destroy one's self if they lack the wisdom needed.
Wielding the power of darkness which you've choosen could be your downfall along with your party."
The woman replies
"That was not the Hollow you saw, but Mr Hildrinsocks old Home.
No, you were foolish for you rushed recklessly without being wise and aware of what you were facing, and you are calling one whom is many times your elder, a fool."
She them loosens her aura and you can feel the full weight of her sovereignty and it is higher then Sinashakti, and she is but her lord's servant.
"At least your wise enough to know your young."
she then reins in her aura.
"The number has been counted, The Hollow is near the breaking point of mercy. For the evil that slowly taints the hearts of it people and of the surrounding towns is spreading and will lead to greater evil.
There are only a few pillars keeping things in standing.
The one sin that is most common among almost all of the people is they do Nothing to stop evil because they fear retaliation."
"Know that your not a pawn and have free will, but as an Angel you are a servant to your lord, and you should respect your elders even if they are not your lord's servant, for they might be giving you counsel.
Now you gave an answer that I did not expect.
So I shall share a few fragments;
The Man in blue servers the Father and acts as his Judge and Prosecutor, The Woman in red servers the Son and works as his redeemer and acts as the Defendant,
The Dwarven ruins you go to goes deep into the earth, and an old evil slumbers there, but that the ruins are also home to many things and one is displacing the rest."
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
The woman replies
"Understandable with all the confusion.
Yes, you accepted the Job to help cure the Hollow of Blackscour that the coven brought in and tainted the well"
"I an but a servant of my Lord, and your at an old court house that fell into ruins from a settlement that fell long ago.
Why the riddles, would you prefer long parables instead?
And who would one gain wisdom and understanding if they are told all the answers.
The evil is ancient to you, and is of one of death and darkness."
Ashlyn Farwynd |
Ashlyn's mind tries to process this revelation, and hundreds of questions spin through her head. She opens her mouth to ask, but she stops herself. One? How can I ask just one? What if it leads to more questions?
She shakes her head to clear it. Perhaps she'll come to regret not seeking wisdom, but ultimately she decides to sate her curiosity.
"I know I should seek wisdom, but I have too many questions to pick just one. Instead, I'd like to see the Throne Room," she tells the woman.
Brunhild Liefdottir |
Brunhild looked at the woman quizzically. Four arms? Bat like wings? Long tail? Red ambient lighting? Strong enough to rip someone's arms off? Now, she wasn't a scholar of the planes by any measure, but this seemed like an abyssal or demonic creature to her.
"So, I'm guessing that I'm dead and this is hell. Fair enough." Brunhild had never thought of herself as being particularly evil, but she was self aware enough to know that her life-long quest was, not only just short, but also very selfish. It didn't bother her then and it didn't bother her now.
"Let's drop the act. I don't know who you are, and honestly? I don't really care. If you are offering me life, and an un-aging one to boot, then I'd really like to hear what you want in return."
She really hoped that she was wrong about this creature, and that she wasn't going to be told to go burn down an orphanage or eat a kitten, or anything like that. Who knew? Maybe looks were deceiving and it really was just some angel of vengeance. She really wished Mahonrai was there.
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
The woman replies
"Your not dead, you just between the borders of life and death.
And you think I'm demonic, that is half a truth, once was, now is not.
You took a job to help the people of the Hollow.
You'll be healed and return.
Though to receive the everlasting water one should be virtuous and serve my lord or one of his other parts.
For my Lord is one in three and three in one."
The woman replies
"Oh you are wise to seek wisdom, and you actually thought about it as well.
Only a few have ever seen the throne room from here and even fewer have entered."
She guilds to the Temple where the throne room sits, it has 8 steps per each solid foundation stone and has 12 foundation stones each of a different stone.
You see a pair of Lamps at either side at the top of the stairs.
"I'll warn you it's going to be quite bright in there that you may not see much, but may hear from my Lord's tongue."
Zegenva Delen |
Sitting up, Zegenva will pause to consider the woman's words before replying. My shadow? Oh, she must mean my damned heritage. Why must people always remark on the demon in me before anything else? Sighing slightly, she will look back to the winged woman.
"Well, it seems that you have me at a disadvantage, as you know who I am but I don't know who you are. Would you mind tellin' me what your name is?" Mindful of how she would react if somebody were to ask her the same question, she will refrain from asking the woman what she is, but will continue with another question. "Also, where are we? I do not recognize these buildings, and they seem abandoned. Why are you recommendin' that I live in a ruined town?"
Remembering what the woman first said, she will ask her one more question. "You say that I have a job to do. Just what is this job, and why is it that I have to do it?"
DM Azure_Zero |
The Temple throne room has but one doorway with Huge double doors made of gold and silver.
The throne room is so bright you can barely see, but you can feel a warmth and lightness here.
You hear a man's voice that is gentle and kind.
"You've been patient and endured a great hardship being bond with the body of a fallen, and also have sinned in the past."
You can feel the weight of his truth
"But I forgive you of those sins"
Suddenly all that weight disappears
"Soon you'll undergo another change and grow the Black wings of the fallen.
It'll become more difficult living in the Hollow.
I can remove the black stained wings with those cleansed by blood, like those of my Redeemer servant whom you've not seen yet."
Brunhild Liefdottir |
"Nothing you said made any sense to me. But that's fine. What I understand is this. You are saying that you used to be abyssal or demonic, but now you and your lord want me to be virtuous. And if I do what you want, and how you want, then I'll get what I want. Which sounds like a good deal to me. But before I sign in blood, or whatever else you would have me do, perhaps you could lay out the details of this accord? Preferably in writing, so that I can make sure that this is the..." She wanted to say prudent, but then changed her mind and instead said "...righteous...thing to do."
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
The woman replies
"Names are a powerful thing, but I shall answer I am Evangeline Venus Aiba,
and you wondering what am I,
I am a succubus that has redeemed herself in service to her Lords.
And I'll admit it is hard to rein in one's lust when one was formally a demoness of Lust.
As for where your at an old court house that fell into ruins from a settlement that fell long ago. though currently your between the borders of life and death."
"As for my recommendation of the Hollow is because it is the most accepting of all the towns in all of Andoran, and almost all of the inner sea.
And the Obsidian Lions don't bother looking in the Hollow."
"You took a job to save the Hollow form Blackscour taint, and have all the basic knowledge you need to complete it.
If your asking why ask one of your party for they received that answer."
You'll know her name but for some reason you'll be UNable to speak it.
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
The woman replies
"You have the basics grasped.
But between the borders of life and death, matter as you know it does not exist."
"Since the list of morals is a long one, I get to the points that need some work.
Mainly your Prudence and Equanimity.
Another area you need to work on is your reckless; while your brave, charging at something you know not can be very foolish."
Brunhild Liefdottir |
Brunhild smiled at that. "If you are saying that I need to be more calm and level headed, then I don't know what to say. This is who I am. Running wasn't an option, as my comrades were at risk. That, and there was something out there worse than the hags. And dealing with them wasn't an option. They were hags, and they had prisoners. Dealing with them would have meant ending up like the other poor souls. So I decided to die with my wounds to the fore. My only regret is that I went down before I could get a good swing in...so yeah. Maybe I do need to be a bit less reckless. But that's all."
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
She replies
"An aspect of your training gave a bypass to what your Goddess, Feronia, had as her will.
As she prefers a flame of life many times more then a flame of death.
Also Channeling of the dark plane is not something she desires nor my Lords.
And most of what you'll be fighting later is death."
She replies
"At least now your starting to understand, there is a fine line between bravery and recklessness.
Using that fight as an example; if instead of charging in had a scout dip below the fog and get more information and then used the fog to take out the weaker of the coven first you'd of had a chance of beating the Annis hag."
She replies
"Come now Adroushan, it was a good effort, but poorly executed."
Zegenva Delen |
Her eyes narrow, and her pupils contract to be thin slits. "And why would either you or they feel the need to save out group from out own stupidity? That battle was a disaster of out own making. Tactics were unused, we did not scout out our enemies, and all in all it was our own fault that we died. So why do you feel the need to intervene and save our lives? What benefit do you gain from this? Not that I am complainin', mind you, but I just wish to know the motives of the person who saved my life."
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
The woman replies as she keeps her wings folded.
"True most demons are evil, but there are moments where even the most evil of the bunch come to a crossroad or a split in the road, and take a path they thought not of trying before,
or in some cases meet one above them and let then experience things they had not ever before like a drink of everlasting water.
As for I, I experienced forgiveness of my own sins, as they were the heaviest burden to bare."
she leans over some answering one of the questions
"As for my Lord, He is one in three and three in one. I serve the lesser known one of the three, and act as a witness and at times a jury as well."
she continues answering your questions but standing straight up
"I decided to step in, since your group was of the few who decided to do something other then complain and or sit back.
A part is to say you were not like those in the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah who sat back while evil was going on before their eyes.
And I do not wish to see another town receive his wrath for it's uncleanliness because the count of those righteous in town are less then ten.
As for that battle use it as a reminder and lesson of what foolish recklessness can do to a group."
Brunhild Liefdottir |
Ashlyn Farwynd |
Ashlyn takes a step back, recoiling from the revelation she received. She wonders at the burden being lifted, blinking in shock.
Her fingers reach to the symbol of Sarenrae hanging from her neck. "I-- I appreciate that, but I cannot forsake the Dawnflower. I've pledged myself to her. I don't know who you are," she says softly.
DM Azure_Zero |
He replies
"You faith in one of my servants is great.
I am the master returning to his Vinyard.
For; I Am that I Am.
For I am; The Beginning and The End, one in three and three in one, the everlasting waters."
Hearing his words makes you shake as your body realises a fraction of how much of a sovereign the one before you is.
And instinctively know that he has almost every domain and divine portfolio in his right hand.
"with your faith in my servant, I shave let you have silver wings so people will know you are not one of the fallen."
Zegenva Delen |
Assuming that Zegenva uninjured in this setting.
Rubbing at her upper arm and shoulder where she know that the cruel claws of the larger Hag had hit home, Zegenva will continue on. "I will definitely remember the follies of that battle, and will attempt to make sure that the others do as well. To many unnecessary risks were taken in that fight."
Mahonrai |
I can only act according to my conscience and my knowledge. If you would have acted differently it is because you have more knowledge that I do, and more wisdom. It doesn't mean that I could have done better based only on what I know. I was doing the best that I could, and it seems not only unfair but unkind to stand here and talk of the evil in the town and my own failings rather than seeing the good in all of us. That isn't the way of the good that I know, and by my personal knowledge that town was not steeped in evil, so any knowledge you have otherwise that perhaps all of the residents are secretly cannibals or demon-worshippers is not something that I can use to make my own decisions. If I could save any of them, I still would.
Disrespect or not, that is how I see it, and showing me how powerful you are and throwing riddles at me that you expect me to figure out based on *your* knowledge won't change that. So, save me or destroy me, as you clearly have the power to do either, but I didn't ask you for a favor, and if I am saved, I thank you for your intervention, but I will still make decisions according to my conscience, not your commands or your riddles. I respect my god because he speaks plainly to me and I don't have to wonder what he wants, and I am not made to feel inadequate in fulfilling my tasks. If I am making poor decisions and am not who you want in this situation, then please, handle things yourself with your awesome power, and allow me to return to my master. I can do no better.
NPC_Evangeline Venus Aiba |
she replies
"True, it be partially unfair with what I have said and done.
As foolishness begets foolishness.
For what most of the town has done is nothing to stop the evil before their eyes and they let it fester.
I'll let you see your master."
she replies
"Your quite faithful to a servant of my Lord."
DM Azure_Zero |
you see your lord before you
"Oh boy you stirred a wasps nest.
Yeah that woman you were chatting with is like my Bosses' Boss.
And she';d be very scary if she did not have the amount of restraint she has, I just hope you don't cheese off the other two who are her peers."
"Now she was right in that there was some foolishness done not only on your part, but your group as well.Though we can chalk that up to your inexperience."
"And her saving your butt is a big deal as she hardly intervenes on anything since she has a number of other things she has to do and she also has a few restrictions on what and how she can say to those below a certain rank."
Mahonrai |
Honestly, if this berating is the way the game is going to continue, then I would prefer you let my character die. The character did the best he could with the knowledge given, and I did the best I could with the knowledge I had. You're bringing in Christian stuff which is dangerous already in a game where people believe different things, but even worse when you make gods act like that true God would never act. So, now you've made the only thing that Mahonrai could really trust in *also* berate him, and I have no idea what you are looking for. Do you want the character to grovel and tell you how right you are? I have no clue where to go from here, and don't see a way forward in playing the character. Maybe I suck at role-playing and I should have min-maxed or come up with some brilliant strategy. Who knows. I was just trying to play the story. I can't do any better than that... so just take me out of the game.
Ashlyn Farwynd |
Ashlyn swallows hard, trying to fathom what is being revealed to her. Wings? she thinks deliriously. She knew the soot-black wings of the Erinyes, and often woke from nightmares with the feeling of their weight on her back. Sometimes she would even find blackened pinfeathers in her bed that fade in morning's light.
"I-- thank you? I don't know the words to say. I've been scared for a long time."
DM Azure_Zero |
As you all wake up and note the ruins, you can see the stone black floor and stone block walls, and two statues on pedestals facing each other near their respective walls.
One of a Man with a tablet in each arm, and a Woman standing and offering prayer.
You even see the two hostages waking up and they introduce themselves.
The tall, strong, and dark haired Ulfen looking one calls herself Vona.
The curvy greenish haired Varisian looking one calls herself Eve.
The statue of the man looks identical to the Man of Blue in your dream.
The statue of the woman is identical to the Woman of Red in your dream.
The statue of the woman also looks identical to the Woman to the woman you saw before entering the Kirk.
The statue of the man looks identical to the man you saw in the Kirk.
The Rat's Tail that you need is between the two Statues.
Brunhild Liefdottir |
Brunhild looks around, and noticing the absence of the angel, her heart drops. She thought about asking the others if they had a demon make a deal with them, but decided against it.
DM Azure_Zero |
Adroushan as you process to collect the pickled Rat's tail.
He notices a Letter propped against it's side.
Sealed with a wax that changes between Green and Yellow and sealed with an icon of a horse.
The Letter reads:
בני תמותה יקרים
המשרת שלי, מאהון, הועבר מחדש כדי להשגיח על האזור שאתה קורא לו קיר אחרון.
מצטער אם הצבתו מחדש מציקה לך.
סינשאקטי
With a Green and Yellow Horse as a embedded seal below the text.
"Dear Mortals
My servant, Mahonrai, has been reassigned to watch over the area you call Lastwall.
Sorry if his reassignment troubles you.
Sinashakti"
Brunhild Liefdottir |
”Sure...yeah.” She wasn’t convinced. She had spoken to a demon, clothed in faux righteousness. A demon she was now working for. And after speaking to said demon, their angel vanished. This was troubling. But...the demon had promised her eternal youth, and that was something more than the angel ever did. So long as they didn’t do anything to evil, it would be alright...or so she hoped.
