Just cause I feel like guessing. I may or may not end up spoiling things so you have been warned. I just like to think I can figure things out given a chance. ;)
Guesses:
The handsome man is Praetor who destroyed the other gods to absorb their power. The old man and his son are the two remaining gods, I would guess the old man has too much juice and support from his son to get absorbed. While the son has too much juice from the dwarves that locked themselves away but still call him their god. As for the star prison well it could be a end of days deal upon its opening a great evil is released. The Scourge is the army/worshipers of the great evil locked away.
Anyone else want to guess or have a go at it? Very interesting post.
So, the real question is...should I read Felisin's dream? I intentionally skipped it once I realized what it was, so I really have no idea what happened. Thanks for spoiler-ing your guess, too, Soris.
I figure, before we go into the ruins, we should determine marching order, too.
Galdor, here's what I do. Once it starts to matter, I put a spoiler in the bottom of my gameplay posts to show initiative, AC, HP, spells prepared, ammunition, and the like.
Definitely for marching order. Tierce, how do you want me to handle prepared spells. This is my first PBP spellcaster.
Isaac has the right of it, or if you want to prepare different spells then what you have in your character sheet, then just mention it in an ooc post for that day of gameplay.
And anyone can read the dream sequence if they like, which is why I didn't put it into a spoiler post
I think that Felisin will probably mention it anyway, I think she would keep the coin a secret for now but everything else she will speak of when she get's the chance so feel free to read it.
If everyone agree's on scouting them. Then one person with the highest stealth could go solo. Or if no one is good in stealth we could split into two groups, the encounter group made up of tough melee types. Then the second back up group that will hang back and surprise the enemy if they turn out to be hostile.
Not a bad plan at all. Galdor is annoyed so far at the lack of organization. He does not care if he is the leader, but he wants some sort of structure to the group.
We should be able to take 10 on stealth and use the tree's for some cover. For Soris that would be 11 stealth, I leave the tree/forest bonus for the DM.
Absolutely. My church meets in a dumpy high school, we have a four piece electric band, and I'm wearing shorts and a Domo t-shirt. Plus, I'm using my tablet to take notes, look stuff up, and chat online. We're pretty relaxed around these parts =)
No, no you don't. And on an unrelated note. My first attack of the campaign is a crit. It is either the sign of things to come, or I just used up my only one.
Male Dhampir Fighter 2 (HP 20 | AC 15 | T 13 | FF 12 | F +3 | R +3 | W 0 | Init +3 | Per +4)
How did I miss an AC 15 with a +6 to attack?
Personal Note: I might not be posting much the next few days, my wife and I just lost a dear friend yesterday. So, if you need to propel the story, use single attacks and he might be deep in thought about what he has gotten himself into.

No worries, I'm sorry for the loss. I also recently had to cut back on online campaigns for family reasons of the same nature.
Soris is left for attack, then it's the kobolds turn.
Hey guys, make sure your still keeping an eye on combat rules. Even though this is pbp, we still have to stick to RAW as close as we can.
Boomer, it takes a full round action to reload that blunderbuss with regular ammo. I didn't see if you bought alchemical cartridges, but I will assume you have a few from your description of your attack. That still means its a standard action to reload, so you can attack next round.
Not sure if you guys know this, but when making dice rolls, if you do a preview, it will show you what your dice rolls are going to be and it will save those results for when you post. That way you can see if you hit or not, and then put in the roll for damage, and then post it.
Well sense we dont know the enemy defenses I think thats only useful for very low rolls. I mean Soris' last attack was only 11 but thats touch. Seeing as its a kobold it may still hit.

Thought I posted the AC of the kobolds, I will make sure to do it next time. And Kobold Touch AC is 12.
You can use them to store up to 1 pound of ammo and use a move action to reload. The spring loaded ones cut it to a swift action but they are one shot as you have to recrank them afterwards.
