Assuming the last goblin doesn't survive that blow, and after ensuring all the other goblins in the immediate area are dead (not just in negatives), Priyya will channel burst to heal - including Gilligan. Can't leave the little bugger out in good conscience, beside there may be more gobs around.
Channel Energy (Healing):
30' radius burst, Heal: 1d6 ⇒ 3
That helps some. I think Anneke and I are still both down about 2 HP. I'll save bursts in case we have more fighting.

Tale-Spinner Eben |

Anneke's blade ends the final goblin's retreat, and the yard is momentarily still, the heavy breathing of the team an odd counter-point to the echoing screams through the town.
From your vantage point, you take a moment to look out over the darkening Sandpoint... the screams, fires, and fighting seem less abundant than before, but you still catch the antics of the invading goblins from time to time. You just catch sight of a goblin chasing a young man around a corner wielding a dead cat of all things, but they are gone before you can really react.
Take a few moments to gather yourselves, do any healing you want, or take care of anything else you want to in this yard… more to come.

Priyya, after healing the Goblin, hopes to prove that his loyalty to Gilbere is correct. She turns to him, kneels down to get eye-to-eye and smiles, "You are a loyal friend, that is why I healed you. Those others?" she says indicating the dead goblins, "They mocked you and would not help you with healing magic. Thank you for being a brave warrior."

Paehz |

Paehz goes over to the warchanter's corpse, and yankes his arrow free. after wiping the viscera on the goblins clothing, he picks up one of the still-lit torches the goblins were carrying.
"Well done, everyone."

Tale-Spinner Eben |

"I notting brave," the little warrior comments as he ponders Priyya's soothing words, you can see that the scorn and near-hatred he holds for the rest of you has been replaced - at least in the case of the dark woman - by curiosity. Gilbere's questions bring him from his reverie, however, and he barks a laugh at Gilbere's odd question about longshanks, "You all is'ing being longshanks, silly," he points to the long legs of the group, "but I is'ing not to call you that, of course." He cuts his eyes back to the rest of the group and his eyes narrow menacingly, "only them. And I from Thistletop! Best goblin tribe in area! Beautiful beyond imaginings…" he casts a tiny hand around your surroundings,"not like this horror." He sees the group rifling through the dead goblins, and joins in with glee, jamming any found food or shinies into his surprisingly deep pockets and squealing delightedly.
The rest of you spend the time retrieving any salvageable ammunition, searching the area and the dead goblin bodies. Kord's searches don't turn up much, both wagons appeared to be filled with sealed barrels of fuel for the celebration's evening bonfire. Your guess is that the goblins just stumbled upon them. Add accelerants with the vaunted goblin love for fire… trouble was bound to arise. There are four remaining barrels of fuel, but there rather large, unwieldy, and heavy. The bodies of the goblins reveals a seemingly endless bounty of worthless and gross crap. Other than each goblin's tiny torch (some of which still flicker feebly), dogslicer, and armor, their clothes seem to be filled with scavenged items from their plunder… coins, shards of glass, buttons, nails, fish heads, rotting food items, one has a severed dog foot, the bloody sleeve of a child-sized shirt, and the list only gets worse. Paehz does find a small vial full of thick liquid, though.
The sounds of fighting seem to have moved deeper into the lower city, and even there they seem to be growing more infrequent. The invasion apparently has nearly run it's course. As you decide it's time to go help finish the defense, however, a desperate cry fills the night air back to the north, followed by the barking, growling, and yelping of a big dog mixed with the war cries of more goblin mouths.

Tale-Spinner Eben |

Showing the vial to their goblin companion, Paehz asks about the contents.
"Do you know what this is, friend?"
Does this guy have a name?
The goblin pauses in the middle of ripping something shiny from one of his fallen friends' pockets and shrugs, "Gharlen drec?" He resumes sifting, muttering something about "tokhel kuukac".
I'm sure he has a name... he hasn't given it.

Kord mel'Vakki |

Kord slips up beside Paehz and translates quietly.
While I certainly want to run back up to the north to help, I also don't want to leave these fuel barrels unprotected. Don't suppose I see a suitable hiding place in very close proximity? Either of these buildings in front of us have doors on the side where we're standing?

Tale-Spinner Eben |

The buildings in near proximity are houses, and other than their shut doors, there is no readily available hiding place for the wagon, though there are some bushes along one side of one house, they might hide the barrels. Your knowledge of the town also tells you there are some sheds around the north-east side of the cathedral, but it would take a number of minutes to wheel the wagon (or carry the barrels) over there. At this point, its a question of priority...do you have the minutes necessary to hide the barrels and reach the combat before things get out of hand over there?

Kord mel'Vakki |

Kord speaks respectfully to the little goblin.
Diplomacy 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Don't suppose I see someone around dressed like Hemlock? Or any other clue that might make me think they were an official or guard or temple employee or anything like that?

Tale-Spinner Eben |

The goblin turns his head and spits towards Kord's boots, "Goblin's name is goblin's own. Notting know what drinking would do, anyway, Longshanks!" he puts as much venom into the last word as he can muster, then scuttles back to Gilbere, and sits down, arms crossed, apparently pouting.
At best, he's unfriendly towards you... your sweet words were not sweet enough, and he's probably not gonna get much nicer to anyone who has not magically-induced him to. :) Priyya's words earlier are the only reason he's not down-right hostile to everyone.
And no, you don't see any town guards or anything, but you did see Father Zanthus and some of his acolytes take cover inside the cathedral, which is in teh same direction as the sounds you heard... so how many minutes are yall letting pass while sounds of combat happen from the north?

Paehz |

"Touchy little runt, isn't he? Perhaps we can just call him Runt."

Nadya follows Kord, pulling her bow off her shoulder & preparing to fire, just in case.

She stops, only briefly, kneeling to address the Goblin, "Ignore him", she says indicating Paehz's departing form, "he is longshanks and does not know your great strength." She claps him on the shoulder and continues after the team, bothered. I hope we don't need to kill him. Have to ask Gilbere what the long-term effects of his spell are.

Tale-Spinner Eben |

Priyya, you want to try to identify the vial before the fight starts?
You all sprint back across the dirt of the cathedral square, searching for the source of the combat. The sounds lead you around a corner in the road and onto Cliff Street in front of an inn with a painted sign of a white deer swinging in the evening breeze. You dash into the street just in time to see a goblin, riding a horrible pink rat thing the size of a dog, sink an arrow from his shortbow into a large mastiff, which yelps his last and collapses in the dirt. A cry reveals what the dog was protecting… behind two rain barrels cringes a human man, his clothes mark him as nobility.
As the dog dies, a vicious cheer erupts from the mouths of four goblins, who had been cowering behind the bodies of dead horses in the street. Their courage bolstered with the death of the much-hated dog, they begin to clamber out from behind the equine corpses and taunt the man.
Luck is with you… none of them see your approach...
The Map
Okay, this one is basically an outdoor fight, not much terrain, big open space. A-Y across the top, 1-25 down the side. An inn runs the length of the top of the map, A-Y/1-3, with it's door (which is closed with no lights on inside) at M-P/3. There are two rain barrels, occupying spaces G-5 and H-5, with the cowering civilian in G-4. The dead dog is in H-7, with a goblin warrior wielding a shortbow and riding a goblin dog in I-9. There are two dead horses in C-D/11-12 and F-G/14-15, both provide partial cover and are difficult terrain to cross. Behind each dead horse is two goblins (four total); positions are B-12, C-13, E-15, and G-16.
They are not aware of your arrival, so you'll have a surprise round. Place yourselves in any of the squares in the lower right hand corner of the map (T-23 through Y-25). And roll initiative, please.
