Kord is an up-and-coming enterprise unto himself from the city of Magnimar. Orphaned as a pre-teen, he quickly learned to make the most of his quick wit. After spending the requisite years on the streets, scraping by as well as he could, he soon realized that his ambitions would not be satisfied with the simple life of a street thug.
Though an effort of will, and a careful application of his own abilities, he increased his knowledge of local lore, languages, commerce, and diplomacy. In time, Kord has risen to ever-higher circles of society. Now he has made a name for himself as a guide, translator, and an intercultural consultant.
He has cultivated a significant number of contacts throughout the land, with the largest concentrations in the bigger cities.
