1) One permanent Hero Point may be used to avoid a final death scenario allowing a narrow cinematic escape,
2) One temporary Hero Point may be used if you are between -1 and -9 hit points to stabilize yourself to prevent further blood loss,
3) Temporary Hero Points may be expended to power Feats. These grant a lasting bonus for a one scene or one round duration depending on the feat description,
4) One temporary Hero Point grants a character a chance to supplement their d20 roll by 1d6 and add the result (whatever it was - no re-roll) to the d20 result,
5) No more than one Hero Point may be expended per round.
Optional rules mostly in the form of New Feats for Hero Points:
Arcane Surge (Prerequisites - Arcane Class) (Allows wielder to increase a spell DC by 3 for 1 round by expending a Hero Point),
Attune Item (Prerequisites - A Weapon of Legacy) (Allows wielder to expend one hero point to add +3 to attack and damage for the scene with chosen item),
Defensive Ward (Prerequisites - Dodge) (Allows wielder to expend one hero point to give yourself a +3 Luck bonus to AC for the scene),
Divine Surge (Prerequisites - Divine Class) (Allows wielder to increase a spell DC by 3 for 1 round by expending a Hero Point),
Heroic Feat (Prerequisites - None) (Any saving throw successfully made 10 points above an effects DC automatically allows the character to regain 1 used Hero Point),
Heroic Grace (Prerequisite - None) (Allows wielder to expend one hero point to add +1 to all saving throws or +3 to one saving throw for one scene),
Heroic Quickness (Prerequisites - Improved Initiative) (Allows wielder to expend one hero point to add +3 to Initiative checks),
Manifesting Surge (Prerequisites - Psionic Class) (Allows wielder to increase a powers save DC by 3 for 1 round by expending a Hero Point).
Playing in 20+ games and running 29 (soon to be 30) is time consuming. Outside of the boards I have a fairly busy work schedule and of course a life!
Often I find that if I fall behind in updates, I need to make time to simply update a Discussion Thread to inform the PCs of a particular game that I am either going to be posting later in the day or week or will be on a break form the boards for one reason or another.
To save time updating so many damn threads I am going to open this thread and link all of my DM aliases (and PC aliases) to this thread to inform people as to status.
Of course if people feel the need to ask other questions outside of PbP feel free to do so but mainly this will be a thread dedicated to ensuring that my PCs know my status and to assure everyone that even though I may have some absences away from the boards (or particular games) this thread will always be up to date with my status.

Neato, I'll do my best to check in on that periodically.
Out of curiosity, how exactly does one survive so many PbP games? I was in around 6 or so at one point (and only as a player!) and found it difficult to be able to keep up with those while posting meangful responses every day.

FYI Kreighton's membership verification is a formality only, it's a set of facts about you personally that you told the Society to ensure that only those who are actually Members will gain access to the deeper mysteries and sections of the Lodge's. Prevents others from simply copying your appearances to gain advantages from the Society.
Nice hot start folks, I'll give one more day to wind down your scene and then we'll go back to Prologues for the Interviews. Be prepared to answer a number of questions, I like my RP to be lively ;-0. Luckily, it seems so do the rest of you!
This will be the first among the game that I update tomorrow. My Status thread, assuming you have been following it, has noted my health issues this past week but I believe by tomorrow I should be tip top once more.

I have indeed been following. Sorry to have seen you've been sick, but your health should always be a priority! We're here when you're feeling better :)

Thanks, let's see what tonight holds. If I am up to it, I'll update.
Interviews are up, these are not easy questions and I think will be fun to answer. They will enable each of you to really flesh out the background of your PC. Obviously, each of you will be selected but I felt the opportunity to RP was worth starting where I did in the process.
Am working on my response to the questions, probably won't have it up until tomorrow. Bit of a busy day catching up after not posting on Sunday (did not expect that many new posts in my games).
Excellent job folks! On the bright side after that all RL interviews should be a piece of cake. Remember to place your response in your profiles so you'll have those stories to fall back o as references as we move forward with the game.
Going to be a hard choice, picking only one item in that price range. Wonder what would be the most useful for Tosen or the group. A mallet of building could help the colony. Sadly it's a one trick pony. Decisions, decisions.
@DM
Thanks for the price, sucks that monks get so little money. Good thing Tosen is not wasteful. x)
In case some of you guys forgot we are using the ABP system in this game. So no belts, headbands, cloaks, amulets, or rings that boost stats or defenses will be used. Sense you will inherently gain that stuff as you level starting at 2nd level.
Unless the DM changed that and I missed it.
So you can't buy a +1 longsword but you can buy a flaming longsword. It will gain it's +1 when your 3rd level. :)
Male Skinwalker: Seascarred (were-shark) Cleric of Besmara (VMC Oni-Blooded Sorcerer)
A Cloak of the Hedge Wizard (Abjuration) does Resistance (at will) and Endure Elements (once per day). It also does a 'Shield' spell once per day, but that's not druid oriented.
A Bag of Tricks (any) could be disguised as a animal summoning.
Druids are usually experts on healing: Healer’s Gloves would help with Heal checks.

I'm thinking either a Cloak of Elvenkind (stealth is good for hunting, eleven heritage) or the Lenses of Detection (for obvious reasons). Stuck between the two, anyone have any interesting thoughts, does one seem more appropriate than the other? I'm leaning towards the Cloak myself.
