Six eyes see more than two and with help from Tarra and Matsu Rogar is able to find the hidden switches and disables the trap.
Next to the dead body are a wayfinder and a backpack. The pack holds notes about the ruins, a scroll and correspondence from the PFS leadership.
Thanien,
Our agents in Qadira unearthed documents that were taken out of Osirion during
the interregnum. They speak of an ancient group of scholar revolutionaries that were
suppressed by the pharaohs during the Second Age. We believe we’ve pinpointed the
abandoned fortress where some of these sages hid from the purges with their treasures.
The documents say these scholars held priceless histories of Ancient Osirion, which we
need you to retrieve and return to Absalom.
Assemble a team of the Scarab Seekers and follow the instructions that arrived with
this letter. We’ve set up a cover for you as merchants and prepared a caravan that
should see you close to the fortress and provide transport for anything you recover.
If the Osirians discover your purpose, we can’t have it traced back to the Society.
Once you go in, you’re on your own. Burn this letter and the other documents once you’ve
memorized them, and keep the information they conveyed to yourself.

Rogar reads the note carefully before giving the others an ominous look:"The more I know about this place the less I like it. What exactly did kill our predecessors here?"

The skin of the Pathfinder in this hallway looks burned also the hair and clothes are black from heat. The trap in this room was triggered and killed the elf to your feet. Molten Whirlwind Trap: a whirlwind of blinding, burning sand deals 4d4 fire damage
I suppose you want proceed further into the next room
Behind the small hallway is a large columned chamber. It shows signs of past comforts, but an ancient battle scorched the walls and ceiling, and cracked and smashed the floor and columns. The remnants of furniture are scattered against the walls, and piles of bodies are stacked in the sleeping alcoves along the south and west walls. A dais crowned with a great, round table rises from the floor in the south part of the room. Three corpses sit around the table as if in conference, each dressed in fine silk robes. A slight breeze whistles through with a sound like a distant, murmuring voice, but there is no sense or meaning in it. An open hallway to the north leads to a natural cavern. Stairs lead downward in the northeast corner of the room, but were buried in stone when the wall collapsed.

Rogar advances inside the room keepin an eye out for surprises:"Mmmmh... to much to hope for this room to be empty and quiet I fear... let's be careful here..."

actually it's an allip, some kind of incorporeal undead
Creatures with the incorporeal condition do not have a physical body. Incorporeal creatures are immune to all nonmagical attack forms. Incorporeal creatures take half damage (50%) from magic weapons, spells, spell-like effects, and supernatural effects. Incorporeal creatures take full damage from other incorporeal creatures and effects, as well as all force effects.

I was wondering how Rogar could damage this incorporeal enemy then I remembered something... the ghost salt he got some time ago could really come in handy with this kind of foe... so:
Realizing he can not do much against an opponent such as this Rogar withdraws back leaving Matsu alone for the moment and preparing to apply the ghost salt he obtained previously to his balde.

While Tarra waits what's going to happen Matsu challenges the incorporeal being and hits. Not sure about the d100, it's 50% damage from magic weapons, is this some kind of Samurai special and does full damage if hit?

Let me tell you something, I really don't like this pushing posts. I'm posting at least once a day from Mo-Fr, if I don't post there is a reason and it won't make it faster if you post comments, so please don't do that. It makes me feel guilty like I did something wrong although I did not and I don't like that...
