Casting Slowing Mud on Nightmare Dervak and Nightmare Mara (DC 22 Fortitude). She'll try to include Nightmare Theo if possible, but I think he's too far away from the other two.

"I can make you fly if you want, Dervak!", she shouted out, as she ran around to the other side of the Nightmare Theo.

Mara has a scroll of Fly. I think Kat might have a fly extract prepared. She has enough movement to avoid any AoOs.

Kat stabs "Mara" and pain is too much for the evil shaman, she falls to the ground with a crunch indicating broken bones. She doesn't move. Kat turns her attention to the seething bloodrager. It looks like if Dervak took a 5' step NW, he and Nightmare Dervak would still be 20' apart (well, 18', but four squares). Too far even with Pugnacious to increase reach to 15'.

Dervak would have to move 10' to attack with Pugnacious, which means only a single attack. That's not going to be enough, and he'd be facing a full attack in response.

So he will instead cast True Strike.

@Mara, I think there is some question about being able to use scrolls while invisible, but one option is to draw, unroll, and drop the scroll, then read it when it is on the ground.

Doesn’t he take a -5 on the bite for using it as a secondary natural attack? Also, i don’t believe you fall and take falling damage when a fly spell ends. It specifies you slowly descend, even if it is dispelled

EDIT: Also, was there are any healing between this fight and the last? The 8 damage Kat had was from the last fight, and if it was healed, it might make a difference

Yes, bite attack was at +16 vs +23 on falchion. The difference is the -5 for using bite as a secondary attack and no +2 from furious falchion.

The slow descent happens only if its dispelled or the spell duration ends and you're still flying. You still need to be conscious to maintain flight.

Edit: Yes you rested since the last fight. But you would have taken backlash damage from the ritual. Not sure if anyone healed the backlash after arriving.

Mara watched in horror as Kat was slain before her eyes. With a hint of panic in her voice, she called to her friend,"Dervak, do you want healing, or shall I send you into battle?"

Meaning a Healing Hex or Heaven's Leap next to Evil Dervak. The alternative to Heaven's Leap could be Dervak casting Mirror Image and flying to 10 ft away from the enemy.

You have got to be kidding me, nat 1 on a True Strike.

He misses badly, but snarls and recovers.

Hasted Attack, Heroism, Haste, Shaken, Destined Strike 2 of 3: 1d20 + 13 + 3 + 1 - 2 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 13 + 3 + 1 - 2 + 4 = 31

Iterative, Destined Strike 3 of 3: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28
Damage: 2d4 + 22 ⇒ (4, 4) + 22 = 30

Hopefully that 28 hits him, Enlarged as he is, and being Aberrant rather than Destined.

If Evil Dervak is still up, a Misfortune on him (or a heal on Good-ish Dervak) from Theophilus would be good.
