None of Jenny's attacks hit. Cott recalls Ravenar's words about cold iron weapons, and is concerned that the raptor's natural weapons may not be able to even break through the demon's supernatural resilience.

Avalexi turns back to attack Kelumur, slashing with her flaming blade and slashing with her claw. Two touch attacks (19 and 21) hit, for 12 and 13 damage respectively, so 25 fire damage total. A 19 misses with the claw, since that's not touch.

Thrugg swings his hammer into the succubus's chest, scoring a direct hit... and grunts in pain as it feels like hitting a solid stone wall with an ordinary hammer.

We'll assume Tarragon's movement takes place first, since you guys posted within minutes of each other and Kelumur used the flank Tarragon provided to sneak attack. Also, I should really make you take that first, lower damage roll, Kelumur, but I'll let it go since this is a tough fight.
Tarragon tries to dodge around the demon, but stumbles on the uneven flagstones of the floor, leaving him open to a slash from the blade of flame. 12 fire damage to Tarragon, hit a touch AC of 18.
In doing so, the succubus leaves herself open in turn. Kelumur stabs his daggers deep into her chest, drawing streams of dark blood that mar her porcelain skin. "How dare you!"
Ravenor moves around the succubus as well, using the moment when her attention is drawn by Kelumur to strike out in turn, though he misses due to the mist.

Moving for Cott.
Jenny attacks the demon again, to no avail as the creature's armor and thick, tough skin cause the teeth and talons to do nothing. Unless I've missed something about Jenny's stats, the only way she can hurt this thing at all is to crit and roll high on damage.
Frustrated, Cott orders her away and steps forward, creating a ball of intensely cold ice and snow in his hand and sending it flying at her to smash into her face. Cast snowball, taking advantage of the fact that she already took an AoO this turn. Rolled 21 damage; not all of it went through, but some did.

The succubus, surrounded and taking damage from all sides, turns to face Tarragon. "So be it. You refused a life of sybaritic delights until your eventual, glorious death in the name of Shax. Instead, your soul will be my feast!" Dark tendrils of energy coalesce around her claw.
She jabs forward, affixing her hand to the rager's chest, exactly above his heart, and he feels his life draining from his body as the coruscating, necrotic forces wrap around his body and attempt to rip his soul away. Welp, so that was a confirmed crit on the vampiric touch. 34 damage to Tarragon. He manages to knock her claw away before he is completely drained, but he sees her wounds knitting together as she revels in the taste of his life energy.

Not sure if it will matter in the long run, but in my focus to remember to add flank, bard song and bless, I had forgotten to add the extra +2 from rage. Checked my math this morning. Should be +2 more to hit and +3 more to damage. Sorry for that error.

OK that will make a difference then!
Tarragon retaliates angrily, slashing the succubus across her chest and reopening many of the wounds which his own pain helped close.

Botting Kelumur and Cott.
Cott withdraws a scroll from his handy haversack, and casts faerie fire on the succubus and everyone adjacent to her. Kelumur, Ravenor, Tarragon, Thrugg and himself are outlined in pale violet fire. He shrugs and says, "At least now we can hit her more easily!" The concealment for everyone thus effected is negated, though the mist still prevents one from seeing from more than 5 feet away.
As far as I can tell, Kelumur hasn't used Martial flexibility yet, so I'm going to activate it to give him Weapon Focus (dagger). Kelumur, if it matters for this combat, she counts as a 'slaver' for your Freedom fighter boon. I've added the additional damage from the previous rounds you would have gotten.
Kelumur uses this advantage to stab his dagger deep into her breast. He thinks he may have hit a vital organ, from the way her black blood gushes out around his hand.
Avalexi looks clearly very damaged now. She looks at Kelumur and Tarragon, then at Thrugg. "You look like a better source of life energy right now, dwarf!" She uses her vampiric touch on him, draining much of his life to heal herself. Touch attack vs. AC 15, 24 damage to Thrugg.

Yep. She would have only gotten 17 from me, and 10 of those would have been rage hp.
Delay for me Thrugg, and drop your shield. Tarragon suggests We can both use this sword. He attacks the succubus while flanking and then holds out his greatsword to the fighter.

Tarragon delivers a powerful blow to the demon, then offers his sword to the dwarf.
I'm imagining a cinematic here where Tarragon slashes the succubus, uses the impact to spin his blade around and grab it by the blade, then push the hilt towards Thrugg who (presumably) takes it to make an attack.
Kelumur
|
Sorry bout that, I totally missed that we were up. Hey GM, Kelumur is a snakebite brawler and does not have the martial flexibility, he gives it up for the sneak attack die damage. Noted on freedom fighter boon! Thanks!
While Tarragon keeps the Succubus busy, Kelumur takes the opportunity to double stab her from the back! "Just die!"

Ah, I see. Well, that means the crit doesn't confirm so you did 7 fewer points of damage, but it's still a lot.
Dropping a shield you're wearing is a move action, but if you're holding out a sword for him to grab, that wouldn't require a full move action to take, I don't think. I'll say he can drop his shield and hammer and take the sword and attack with it in one round, but that's all the actions he'll be able to do.
The Succubus is battered and bleeding, looking close to collapse.

Sorry Thrugg!
Avalexi begins to laugh at Ravenor's attack, seeing how his attacks failed to connect against her previously, when suddenly, his slender blade snakes through the fog and goes cleanly through her chest.
"That is...impossible..." She gurgles for a moment, before her body is consumed in a sudden blaze. The sound of her items falling to the ground with the sudden disappearance of the succubus echo in the hallway.
Ravenor's face remains impassive throughout the succubus death. "Desna lay you to rest...although I doubt that is where your soul is headed." He cleans his blade before sheathing it back in the walking cane.

As the succubus dies, the aura of dread and evil lingering over the catacombs seems to fade. You take stock of yourselves -- everyone is alive, wounded but alive. After a brief rest to heal as needed, you pick the unconscious cleric back up and ascend the stairs.
As you are wearily making your way out of the abandoned shrine, Kasadei comes up with a squad of city guards, looking to see if you need aid. She is relieved to see you all alive. "When that creature dropped out of the sky, I ran for help. Glad to see you didn't end up needing it."
Later that day, when you are all recuperating at Heidmarch manor, Kasadei arrives with a promissory note for the Bank of Abadar, for 3,000 gold sails as promised. An agent of the church of Sarenrae comes as well, offering an additional reward for the protection you have provided for that faith in the city. As Zadendi was once a cleric of Sarenrae herself, they have taken her into their custody and their inquisitors will be attempting to redeem her. (Despite the name, the Sarenite inquisition is much kinder and focused on redemption than one might expect.)
The Sarenite provides a set of potions of cure serious wounds, and also offers your group a choice of a +1 flaming scimitar, a +1 blinding buckler, or an ioun stone of your choice from a rainbow of colors. These will be on the chronicle sheet so it doesn't matter which one you choose, but feel free to RP the decision.
Sheila is grateful and promises to make sure the leaders of the Society and your factions are aware of your valiant deeds.

Ravenor, who had stepped out for a moment, coincidentally returns just at that moment. "Nobody expects the inquisition, that's part of our charm...why is the curtain on fire?"
After putting out the fire and gently prying the blade out of Lauranna's hands (and nearly getting his own eye poked in the process), Ravenor admires the various items that were offered, particularly the ioun stones "Generous indeed of the church. I must remember to thank them before we leave."

"YIKES!" Lauranna jumps. "Stop doing that! Oh you look really beat up. I mean more than usual."
She pulls her wand, there's a sorry-looking bat tethered to the end. It looks about imploringly. Seeing the bat, Lauranna's eyes grow wide and she snatches the thing off the wand, and shoves it into a pocket.
"Heh, I'm practicing summoning spells. Whaddya think?"
