Also you noted only 1750 cp starting wealth but for 5th level per the book it would be 3,450 cp, right?

Yikes. Okay. I took all the big stuff off. Guess I'll sleep out under the stars with no tent. :) That seems more caravan-guardish anyway, but you know, my character is used to a life of relative luxury, so she *wanted* to bring it all. :)

Well, she didn't actually have a sink on her equipment list (although a magical sink would be awfully nice on Athas), but she did have a medium tent, a folding chair, a cot, etc. I obviously went overboard. I'll work on my shopping addiction... promise.

In Dark Sun it's a magical living item that draws on all four elemental planes in order to stay healthy. According to the Dark Sun original campaign setting clerics and druids can draw on it for four specific spells.

I had planned to get a couple wands but wanted to ask how you felt about partially charged wands. I figured I would have used either wand a little bit already.
Also, I took the Craft Wondrous Item feat. Would I be able to get any crafting discount on any gear I started with?

Just remember, that if you get Craft Potion, your crafting them from fruits. Other than that, I don't think a crafting discount is unreasonable.

I don't think we're waiting on anything, are we? I sort of thought it was your turn to tell us what happens next. We all moved where the Caravan Master told us to ride, and we're waiting to see if some bad guys come by, or my familiar comes back with news of someone near the camp, or to get to the first camping spot...?
Were you waiting for us to introduce ourselves to each other, or something like that? We totally can do some role playing like that. Just didn't know it was still our turn, I guess. :)

These feats aren't for people travelling in caravans; they are for the caravans themselves. Jade Regent had a system where the Caravan itself had scores and levels and would take feats.

Yeah, Veleron is a strange lot. Desert Druid and all he approaches things from a peculiar fashion. So he's just been observing to see what there is to see from this group before necessarily offering direct aid (he would have course, retroactively, offered aid should things have gotten dire...).

FYI guys I know my posts have slowed down a bit lately.
Here's what's going on.
Right now we have a staffing shortage at my workplace, and I have been pulling extra shifts. This has left me pretty tired and worn out. I also expect to be training some new hires soon (though I'm not sure when), and since I do most of my posts from work it is unlikely I will be able to post much on those days, but we don't have a schedule for that person yet, so I don't yet know which days I am doing that, and I may not end up knowing until I arrive for my shift. So since I may not have any warning I'm letting you guys know now. The training will probably be spread over three days.
After that I am leaving for a much needed Vacation on September 30th. I expect to have internet access, so I should be able to post in that period, though it may be a bit irregular.
Sorry for any problems this might cause, and if I don't respond in a reasonable time bot me as needed. Things should be back to normal for me in mid-October.
