Just to keep you all in the loop, during the no-new-notification incident (where forum games weren't alerting folks to updates), I had a member of my family pass on.
As such, I feel it fair to inform you that I updates might take longer than usual (which I know, is plenty long of a wait already) and if you feel the need to drop out of a game I'm DMing or drop me from a game I'm participating in, I understand.
That said, I do hope to update within a couple days as I could use the distraction as the usual business of these events tend to warrant. Thank you for your understanding.

My condolences Luca. I went through something of that sort in 2013 and it took me offsite for four months. Take your time and remember that grief is a unique process. Everyone's experience is different.

Just realized the days in the heading got a bit screwy for some reason.
The current night is Wednesday March, 26.
The next day is Thursday March, 27. I'll correct the next couple of posts. Not sure how or when that happened but I'll be more careful moving forward with that. Must have lifted an old one and gotten confused at some point. Bad enough I don;t know what day it is in RL, I need to know what day it is in game at least!

Relatives are almost all gone and I think I've recovered emotionally. Expect me back in posting form by the end of the week at latest.

@Everyone, Depression is a weird thing for me, it mostly turns me into a sloth (Maybe because I'm kind of an emotionally void person? Idk, I burned out the ability to be stressed out a long time ago working 60 hrs a week, racoon hunting, and going to high school all at the same time. You can get a lot done when you have insomnia ^_^ but because of that I don't emote well inner or outer. Anger still works, and Joy can too but other than that I'm kinda a grey blob). Lethargy is a serious problem for me when I'm depressed. Couple it with high pain and you get a weird blanket burrito'd individual doing very very little for days on end >.<
But I appreciate the support and I'm doing somewhat better.
I have DMPC'ed Alessandro as he has not posted in almost 3 weeks.
At this time I will be locking the campaign and not accepting new players (even if someone drops or disappears) so we can move forward without delays due to new PCs.
Just an FYI.
Within the week (by Easter) I would like to resolve the current scenes for:

Bagrat,

Veronica,
Durdona, and
Vitaliano.

Salubri - Warriors who seek to fight evil wherever they find it, the problem is often they find it where it does not exist, Brian and his Fledgling Andrew of Moray lead this Clan;
Toreador - The Clan of the Rose - art, fashion, writing and misplaced passion, they seem harmless I emphasize seem, this group also has many who seek to lead them;
Tremere - Blood thieves, they have stolen much from many and nearly all from us, their magics are powerful and it is power they ever seek;
[i]Tzimisce - Fleshcrafters, stay away from them though they often ally with Gangrel they are rarely end up on the short end of such dealings, Vykos leads them; and
Ventrue - The Rulership Clan, or so they claim, they seek to take all from all. Their greed is insatiable, some can be honorable though they are hard to find - as with the Brujah and Toreador many vie for their seat. Beware of Alexander, he needs the Blood of Cainites to survive".[/b]

Our Clan as I stated is Tremere. We are the youngest of the Clans only a handful of centuries old. Our founder, Tremere himself was a Wizard in life, he and his greatest apprentices thought they discovered a formula to immortality, what they instead found was a spell that transformed them into Vampires. Many say that Goratrix tricked Tremere and the Circle of Seven into becoming Vampires. I was a mortal woman at the time and even I do not know the full story. However, as I despise Goratrix I like to believe that story.
Once the rest of Vampiric society knew we existed almost immediately they attacked us for they knew if we were to rise in power we would eventually overtake them as our magical prowess allows for versatility even the blood of the most ancient cannot duplicate. Their trickery knew no bounds as they also informed the Order of Magi that we formerly belonged to of our "curse". Thus a two front battle we had to wage until Tremere and the Council decided that drastic measures had to be taken.
Tremere decided that to cement our Clan and hold off the Magi he would have to find and consume one of the Eldest beings on the planet, a mythic Antedeluvian. Awake, even with magic it would be hard to defeat such a creature but asleep he could enter their resting place and take the Blood freely, after defeating their guardians and servitors of course.
If this course if action failed, it was agreed that only four of the Seven Counselors and Tremere himself would take on this dangerous task. Etrius, the great rival of Goratrix and most sensible of our Order was picked as Tremere's second much to Goratrix's dismay.
Tremere and the four went east where rumors of the resting place of the founder of Ravnos Clan came to our attention. What happened was not clear, all that is known is that Tremere returned with the Blood of the ancient Vampire coursing through his veins a Fledgling named Celestyn Embraced by Etrius accompanied him, of the four none survived, including Etrius. Thus, Goratrix's power grew.
Thereafter, Tremere retired to rest and left the now Council of Three in charge of his affairs. Goratrix who schemed to take the City of Paris, Meerlinda who battles on the British Isle with many powerful Cainites, and Filareus, who now resides in Vienna though he is torpid after a battle with some of our most hated foes, the Tzimisce.
Celestyn remains in our original stronghold in the east, Ceoris. Thus, Etrius still has a presence albeit one through proxy.
Most of the Can has split apart. The Childe of Le Duc, slain in the east, presumably by Ravnos, has branched off into a pseudo Bloodline the Televynic Tremere - we dare not challenge of slay them as we still need them to defend Celestyn in Ceoris. Goratrix and I do not see eye to eye while Meerlinda plays both sides against the other. Thus, the promise of power of our Clan has become weakened by internal divisions, I do not believe this was ever the goal of Tremere.
I came here to unite the Clan under one banner by making myself the direct representative to a new, let's call it, Sect of Vampires being formed by all of the other Clans.
However, one of Goratrix's descendants, who has been an anathema we have sought to slay for more than a century, has challenged me for the position. Goratrix has decided to support this upstart. I sense his personality and willingness to do anything and be manipulated bu other Clans make him the preferred choice for the position. That I cannot allow to happen. Thus, we come to your role.
You will meet with those whose votes I desperately need and convince them to vote for me, your Charisma will succeed where my magic has failed. Be joyous, you are perhaps the first, not counting the upstart's Childer, to join our Clan who has come across with no magical aptitude.

Then I will take a few day hiatus before I start up the next night in game as that will be a two hour endeavor. Look for that update this Thursday night as I have the next day off.
