ok - I can probably bot Tariq and Baset if Noonan can grab Shad. I suspect their sheets have not been updated. I will check stats and post tomorrow
Tariq and Baset |
Tariq points and Baset charges to pounce upon the other scorpion.
Ba'set! Kill!
This may draw an AOO? I am using the stats on Tariq's sheet - but these are probably a level lower...

I actually have updated Shad's sheet on my profile (Shad Thorrpesbrother I think?

I presume the other scorpion is the one on the left Dwalindor?
As Ba'set claws at the monster, scoring two hits, Thorrpe fires three shadowy arrows that seem to dissipate against the lightning-streaked scorpion hides.
The scorpions retaliate against you with flashing claws.

ok, I think all 4 of those hit, two and two. He is at 231/261 HP.
Baset -48 (possible crit GM).
Also, I figured Tariq at J-0 near Baset for his strike.
Dwalindor will attempt to fight through the pain and the poison. Seeing the damage to Baset, he cries out.
BAH! NOW I AM REALLLY REALLLY ANGRY!

Noonan casts Boneshatter at the scorpion
Boneshatter DC 19: 15d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 3, 3, 1, 5, 4, 3, 5, 2, 4, 4, 2, 2) = 54
The target’s bones (or exoskeleton) splinter, dealing 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 15d6) to the target, which is also exhausted for 1 minute per caster level from the pain and exertion of the transformation.
If the target succeeds at its save, it takes half damage and is fatigued rather than exhausted. Objects made of bone, chitin, or similar material take half again as much damage (+50%) from this spell. This spell has no effect on a creature that has neither a skeleton nor a hard carapace.

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Dwalindor's hammer rains blows on the scorpion in front of him but only one seems to actually penetrate the carapace of the creature.
Meanwhile Ba'set manages to carve through once as well but Tariq's repeated attacks fail to penetrate his target's thick hide.
The scorpions partially shake off the damage done by the spellcasters and decide to renew their attacks. The left one shuffles slightly forward and attacks Dwalindor while the one assaulted by Dwalindor turns to attack Tariq.

Dwalindor meanwhile hammers the other scorpion into the stone on the side of the pyramid, killing it and leaving you standing on a sparking, electricity scarred side of the pyramid.
As you stand there, panting with effort and wondering what happens next, a solitary figure suddenly appears atop the capstone and descends the sheer side of the pyramid—unhurried, graceful, and seemingly unaffected by the arcs of electricity from the Shory rods. The figure is a petite woman; she’s clad in a brilliant white tunic, and wears an ancient ceremonial wig on her head and an exquisite golden pectoral collar around her neck. Her eyes are made up with kohl, and a knowing smile plays on her painted turquoise lips.
The woman stops halfway down the pyramid. In a fluid motion, she stretches out her arms and, looking to the sky, speaks loudly in a clear, mellifluous voice.
"These are the words of Hakotep the First, Lord of the Sands, Scourge of the Shory, Most Beloved Son of Set, Glorious and Eternal Sky Pharaoh of Osirion! Let all who would grow wise fall silent and listen!”
“Rejoice, faithful of Osirion! Your god and pharaoh has returned to rule over His lands and His people with strength and wisdom, to return the kingdom to the glory lost by His unworthy successors! Is it you who called down the pyramid? Who would dare impede the Sky Pharaoh in his divine undertaking? Who would stand in the way of a living god?”
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
”Hey , Tariq! Look, a new girlfriend for you. She is too talky from what I have heard already. “ the dwarf grins as he usually does when his mouth moves faster than his brain .
”Lady, we dare impede your boss or whatever he is called. We ain’t marched halfway around the desert to watch him send undead armies to destroy our cities. We ain’t gonna let it just happen.“
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
I think Ozy was going to have outsider maybe expend healing then resummon Shiberus but that takes over a minute and I am not sure we had that long of a delay after combat with scorpions. Dwalindor is still injured and some ability damage but not major.

Tariq notices a slight flickering around the edges of the woman - whatever is happening it's not quite right. And where would Hakotep find a living servant at this point since you've killed most of his cult?
