Dwalindor’s +5 celestial weapon should bypass any DR from fiendish template.

Same for shield archon’s weaponry.

Sadly, Tariq does not have aligned weapon so could wait for bless or any buff extra from casters.

Ozy had planned to resummon his eidolon dog - but that takes a minute and I am not sure if that happened before combat started. Since we do not see the dog on the map, will assume, the dog is not summoned.

Also, are the huge cloud things something we have seen before in the trenches or pyramid? I did not see a description.

Our shaggy stout friend may have a point. If we search everywhere here, we may find more funds or clues to why we would need to engage the services of these boatmen and where we would actually need to go.

Ok so not a total party kill (yet)

But few options….and we are going to a high school musical for our son, so will be late tonight before we can post.

Dwalindor is basically limited to rage/attack - trying to take out undead quickly

Assuming we have Noonan, Tariq and Shad all at -1 hp and Dwalindor, Ozy and Sheberus are sickened…
Our Goal is to get Noonan up this round and hope he can get others up.

Without cure spells, Ozy has a couple options

1) paddles: cast rage on Noonan and hope the extra hp allows him to channel or something.
2) MrScotti : cast plane shift to someplace else less hostile
3) summon archon… probably dies in wailing as soon as it arrives
4) run away… hope they don’t Pursue

For the visual imagery - I like the paddles option on Noonan but he may not like it.

Yeah, this is a bad scene sadly. As an aside I don't really like "Save or Die" spells so you will always have an option in the unlikely event a series of failed saves kills all of you.

Except against the final boss - that's all or nothing!

Right - making that work like a 'harm' spell is a good balance without nerfing it too much. Banshees are hard enough without the extra mooks and water tactical defense.

If Noonan, Shad and Tariq were all killed by hp damage, then we definitely would have teleported away with their bodies.

I will roll Tariq and Shad attacks once Noonan decides. Channel was the first thought. But we have not dropped any yet...so...your call.

Life Lantern:

The life lantern appears as a large ankh made of gold with a polished sphere of sapphire fitted into its center. Held in one hand by a living bearer, the life lantern glows with a radiance equal to that of a sunrod. If the carrier is undead, the life lantern instead sheds an area of magical darkness akin to that exuded by a darkness spell.

The light or darkness exuded by a life lantern enhances certain elements of necromancy. In an area of light generated by a living carrier of a life lantern, dying creatures gain a +4 bonus on all Constitution checks to stabilize. More significantly, a body brought back to life via raise dead, resurrection, or any similar effect does not gain any negative levels upon being brought back, as long as the body is restored while it is illuminated by the life lantern’s light.

Once per year, the life lantern may be used by a living creature to cast resurrection on a creature by touching the life lantern to a portion of the dead creature’s body. When the life lantern sheds darkness in the hand of an undead creature, all undead creatures in that area of darkness gain fast healing 5. Once per week, the life lantern may be used by an undead creature to cast create greater undead.

The life lantern also functions as a holy or unholy symbol for a spellcaster who worships a deity who grants access to the domains of Death or Healing, and the spellcaster need not actually have those domains to use the lantern in this way.

No, you can keep the gear you found in the pyramid and/or you can simply "purchase" up to WBL (i.e. if you have 95000 gp and should have 125000 simply add 30000gp of enhancements/new items to your gear).

You're in it to win it! Although you can sleep, leaving the tomb to go shopping is a bit iffy narratively.
