Just to be sure I understand the map correctly. Sebastian is in the basement? Bree, Sable and Winter on the first floor? nobody on second? and Corvax and Kabal on the top of the tower?
Male Elf Witch/10 (HP: 27/27; AC15; FF13; T15; F+2, R+5, W+10; Perc: +31, Init +2)
If there are arrow slits Sable will stay on the first floor, otherwise he'll move to the roof to fire down onto the akata once all Hells break loose.
We sure do fight a lot of mobs
Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/10 (Init: +4)
I also wanted clarification, though it is clear that Sebastian isn't in a basement as Zyren just said there isn't a basement.
It is also my plan to either use arrow slots on a lower level if available, and if not to move up above those who will be dropping stones so as to not be in their way while firing.
For clarification:
Ground floor = Winter, Sable, Bree
First Floor = Sebastian
Second Floor = no one
Top = Corvax, Kabal
So, where do you want to be?
Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/10 (Init: +4)
Are there arrow slits on the lower level?
M Human Fighter 4
"Fine, fine. Droppin' rocks on aliens 's what I 'ad planned for today anyway."
Corvax helps heave as many boulders to the top of the tower as he can and makes sure his shortbow is close at hand in case the rocks run out while there are still Akatas to kill.

"I will support either front and relay news from within the tower"
Fine with current placement
But then Sebastian has a thought....a disturbing thought. "Samaritha? Can these things climb? What is their preferred method of attack? Is it just bite and claw, or do they have additional means to attack us?"
Male Human Weapon Master 6 ~ Inv. Rager 4 | AC 24 T 13 FF 22 | HP 129/129 | F +14 R +6 W +7 | Init +2
Aye, Im good with staying up top and chucking these stones down at the beasts. And what are we waiting for anyways? Theyre just milling about. Lets get this started.
Kabal hefts one of the rocks and throws it down at the massed enemies.
Power Attack - 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Damage - 6 + ? whats a stone do?
Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/10 (Init: +4)
At sight of the first stone dropping, Bree shoots a bolt.
Crossbow shot at AO20 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Winter waits with sword drawn...
Samaritha shouts to Sebastian: They are catlike and so I guess they're good climbers...and something else I noticed: I think they are deaf - but does that help us?
There are arrow slits on every tower level.
Stones will deal 2D10 + 4 points of damage with a ranged attack and have an increment of 5 ft.
As Kabal lifts the first heavy stone above his head, the akatas suddenly attack! Silently and ghostly, two of them ram thei bodies against the door while others jumpg against the tower and try to find a hold with their massive claws.
Rd1:
What do you do? We don't need an initiative order now.

Kabal will aim his stones at the akatas that are climbing the tower.
Attack (AD,4) - 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Damage - 2d10 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (6, 2) + 4 + 4 = 16
M Human Fighter 4
Corvax heaves a stone over the edge of the tower, dropping it straight down toward the heads of the climbing Akata.
No idea of the vertical distance and if that even factors into a range increment, so I'll just do what Kabal is doing.
Attack AB9 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 132d10 + 7 ⇒ (3, 4) + 7 = 14
If you throw them at an akata that is climbing the tower the increment is always zero. Only if you want to hurl them further the increments are more than zero.
Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/10 (Init: +4)
Bree is on the ground floor then, shooting her crossbow to begin with out of the arrow slits. I fired one shot above already. Her second shot:

The first seconds of the combat have passed and not much has happened by now. Kabal as well as Corvax' boulder hits the ground without making contact with an akata before. Bree hits the zombie, but his innate resistances make him ignore the wound - meanwhile Sebastian has raced up to the top and nearly ran into the two cyphermages who are hurrying down. The door on the ground floor looks still solid but more akatas begin to climb up the tower.
Sable what did you attack?

Sebastian runs the tip of his sword along the top of the wall in front of him. From the tip issues a gush of oil and grease and flows down the wall toward the two Akata below him.

Attack AF,8 - 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Damage - 2d10 + 8 ⇒ (2, 3) + 8 = 13
The stone hits the akata squarely in the face, the creature loses its hold and falls down...without a sound it loses also its life as its body hits the ground.

At the spiretop, one of the monsters makes it over the battlements and is now right between Kabal and Corvax! From downstairs you hear one of the mages curse his fate and pray loudly to Nethys.

Was waiting to see if the roof top was going to be cleared by the fighters, but also a question for you DMZZ. The creatures are climbing up through my original grease, are they making their checks for that? just need to know if it is worth greasing the entire circumference?
@ Sebastian: I made checks for them, but I roll them on the desk, since there are so many to make. However, I didn't include the steepness in my calculations. You can expect that not many will make it through the grease from now on. So greasing the whole tower is a very good idea.
