Personality

Corvax is generally goodnatured and cheerful, but does have a rather short fuse. Even the slightest provocation can lead to a fight and once a fight is begun Corvax won't stop until either he or his opponent(s) lie unconscious. Other than his proclivity for violence, Corvax greatly enjoys life and where possible the finer things in it.

Background

Corvax was born the son of a Butcher in the town of Mivon. Raised around the Swordlords and their hopefuls his entire life all Corvax wanted to do was become one of them and upon reaching his teen he immediately applied and was accepted. He was found to be rather good with a blade, defeating his first opponents with ease. But Corvax was also fond of the drink, spoke his mind at any given opportunity and started one too many fights. For these reasons he was rapidly kicked out of the school. With his dreams crushed Corvax took the Aldori Duelling Sword he didn't really know how to use and marched straight to the nearest mercenary recruiting station. Seeing the sword the mercenaries signed him up at once and that is how his life as a travelling sword for hire started. He spent a few years hacking his way across the river kingdoms in the endless scraps that mar the region. After only a few years in the company he met a certain Kabal Breven, a man very similar to Corvax in temperament if not in vocabulary. After a few particularly vicious scraps ..'e as a left 'ook like a fooking hammer.. the two became firm friends. With their combined martial prowess and complementary fighting styles the pair soon made a name for themselves in the River Kingdoms. That is until Kabal started a fight with exactly the wrong mercenary captain and they had to hightail it out of their before they found a dagger in each of their spines. Hopping the first ship out of town they ended up heading for Riddleport, a perfect sounding hive of filth and thuggery. Someone even mentioned on the boat that some casino in the town was having a big competition where you could win devil gold or something..
