So Adara is off, and I have been working on my replacement character, but I feel like I am just terrible about selecting spells. I'm attempting to build an Archaeologist Bard. I see a lot of fun spell choices, but I don't want to be horrendously useless which always seems to be the direction I go when I build characters who don't have an obvious martial tendency.
The following spells have been selected, but I still need 3 additional Level 1 and 1 level 2 spells.
1st: cure light wounds, spirit share
2nd: cure moderate woundsI beg for your input and assistance!
ear-Piercing Scream is a nice combat spell, the Daze proc can be quite handy.
Cultural Adaptation might be a nice RP utility.
Share Language or Comprehend Languages might be handy, too
For lvl2, Glitterdust has saved my @#$ more times than I care to count.

Hey, folks. I'm sorry about disappearing off the face of the earth. The past month or so has been... interesting, to say the least. I do not want to make any excuses, so I will just say that I am still interested in this game. Please bear with me as I try to get back onto the saddle.
That said, I did not want to come back completely empty-handed. Here is the breakdown for all of our loot from Book 1, excluding any items we plan on keeping. If everything on there is correct, then our total stockpile of money should add up to 22,299 gp; not bad, if I must say so myself.

In keeping with the now “usual” turbulence of my real life, I’m now in the middle of packing my life and moving across country. I should be able to resume more regular posting as I will be unemployed upon arrival, and I should have plenty of time on hands until gainful employment is achieved.

I'm going to throw out a suggestion...
We're dragging pretty badly in this section, and the kind of skullduggery that I think would probably be happening among the factions is, in my humble opinion, hard to capture well in PBP. None of this is a knock on our GM or the players - I think it's just easy to bog down.
What would the players and Gm say to skipping ahead a bit. I don't know the AP, but I'm guessing we would pick a patron, outfit, and head out in search of the lost city. I'd trust the GM to pick a patron, or we could have a quick off-books vote, and move ahead a bit.
Just my thoughts. I'm perfectly willing to play through if folks would really like to, but I like this group of characters, and would hate to see the game die.

I think that is a good suggestion.
As for Estietre, her initial choice would be the Sargavian government due to her late husband's tie to the colony, but after hearing proposals, would be more in line with the Pathfinder Society.

I am sorry about the radio silence. I have been around, but I have real issues giving all of the games I am in the attention and energy they deserve. That said, I am still willing to push forward.
Depending on what we learn from Ishirou and the General, chances are Dereje will advocate for either Saragava or the Society. He probably wouldn't give the Free Captains or Red Mantis the time of day, considering that they are pirates and assassins.

Lawdrak, to be honest, would be a little out of his depth making a decision like this. He would probably lean toward the Pathfinders, at the end, but would lean heavily on the older and wiser heads of his colleagues.

Per this post, are we splitting 22,299 four ways (me, mum, Dereje, Lawdrak)? Or five ways and our erstwhile oracle takes a share with her to start her new life?
