Moving up right behind Khaz, Lorena tries to stab at the frontmost mongrelman with her spear, but she can't get a hit in through the traffic.
Move, attack purple man (+1 attack/damage from divine favor, -4 attack from cover, I think?).

feel free to roll AOOs for me

Carson ducks out and behind a few of his allies, not risking taking another hit.
Withdraw action, so no AOO, and I'm allowed to move through allie's spaces according to movement rules.

If Firinn just went, it must be my turn!
Unhappy with the distribution of people on the battlefield, Terry chooses to fire at the opponent on the far left, since it seems to be the shot with the fewest of his companions in the arrow's flight path . . ..

”It didn’t have to be like this!” He felt a spray of blood as his axe hit again. He had sworn to himself that he would do all that he could to get him and his companions to the surface...and it was proving to be a far bloodier affair than he had hoped.

That's twice I've been botted. Last time I was reading the posts about 20 minutes after I was botted. This time about 13 hours. <sigh> Not being the player you guys need/want. And I DID look at this last night, but it was before the statement about who was up, because I didn't know, either.
Firinn takes aim and fires at the fleeing mongrel leader, feeling no compunction about shooting the dangerous being in the back.

Khaz drives the final mongrelman down, Terry's shot goes just over the head of it as it drops from the heavy blade killing it.

”A fine mess. Looks like we have two options. First, we do as Torag. We fortify this area. Let them break upon us, and use their own defenses against them. With the help of our resident elven mage, we can even summon creatures to support the defenses and cut off their retreat. The second? We do as Angradd. We push now before they are ready, and get to tbthe surface before they can bar the way.”
Looking down at the unconscious mongrelman, he shook his head sadly. ”Just following orders. What a fine mess...”
Anyone have any healing for Khaz? Also I kind of like the idea of a huge battle with summoned allies. It’d be a unique experience, as I doubt other parties have tried it before. Reminiscent of the battle for bloodmarch, which had waves of orcs
"Once I have used a spell I cannot reprepare it without my eyes." Aravashnial moves up to the group, his voice sounds very upset at his own statement.
"We just leave back the surface, I get to my house and you leave me be. That works best for me." Horgus says, while trying to look everywhere all at once.
"The problem Khaz," Firinn points out, moving smoothly over the bodies to the doorway the leader fled through. "Is that we are the invaders. To take the first room of their complex and fortify it will be worse for us than them, this is not their larder." He notes dryly.

"Let's just push through while they're disorganized and be done with this place", Lorena suggests. Of course, she isn't looking forward to the fight, being much more used to running away from trouble.
The next room into the complex appears to be a living quarters.
H2. Living Quarters (CR 3)
The lingering smells of cooked meat and rank bodies hang in
the air. Ten bedrolls, each piled with coarse blankets and animal
furs, surround a fire pit filled with glowing goals. Tanned hides
hang stretched on the walls, each crudely painted with scenes of
deformed humanoids hunting giant vermin in caves.

Using up the last of his healing magic, Khaz closed more of his wounds. He walked into the living quarters. He looked around, but not carefully.
"Let's move. I'll take point. Aravashnial, be ready to cast one of your summoning spells if we call for it. They could fall on us at any moment."
Khaz will be for moving as quickly as possible through the warrens, fighting their way to the surface before the mongrelmen can regroup

Carson follows behind, trying to make sure he's in a well defended position, but also not forcing their injured fellows into a worse one by it.

Assuming all the exits are closed doors...
"Well...there are a couple ways out. Which one should we take?" Turning to Lann, she asks, "Are you familiar with this place?"
"I am not overly familiar with this den no, There must be some way out though since I know our traders would come this way."
There are not doors just open ways
which way are you guys going?

Just keep taking lefts until we find some way out.
I feel like it's hard to draw a line between IC and OOC in making these decisions since we have the map of the place right there. I'm not looking at it, and it's been a couple weeks since I have, so this is hopefully IC.

Gathers what arrows he can, trying to be ready for the fights which seem to be coming . . ..
The concenus is for the group to go left, you enter another room noting 2 more door, one to the east and one to the north.
H10. Trophy Hall
The worked stone walls of this large room hold a number of
shelves, each of which display the preserved bodies of dire
rats, bats, rock vipers, cave lizards, and other creatures that
pose in eerie stillness. A pair of bedrolls have been laid out
to the southeast.
Following the policy of heading left Firinn moves forward towards the northern door, listening carefully as he goes.
