Ruin will move down each of the hallways using his sunrod for light to see what is down each path. he will only go 30 feet down each and return.

Following Haku's suggestion the fish are driven right to him and he snatches one up with his bare hands. What does Haku do with it?
Meanwhile, Ruin investigates the side passages. The western side is claustrophobic and a little harder to navigate, but continues beyond the short distance Ruin has clamored through. The eastern side is a little more open, and as he moves down the twisting passages a foul odor of decay begins grows stronger.

Ruin watched with amusement at the group's acts. Once the magic washes over them he tells them what he found.

Faerin takes a few silver coins from the city and replaces it with some of her own silvers to bring back to the society for atudy.

Faerin Shivers as the magic passes over them again. Remembering her notes, she copies out an extra set regarding the four guises of Aroden finds a place on the city and reads it out alound before placing that copy in the city.

While some of the group plays in the water, Ruin asks "Anyone want to check out this smelly tunnel with me?"

"Faerin, let the quiet ones go first and we will follow up," Haku emerges from the pool. Aroden, the merchant... Aroden the fisherman... What else is there?
The islander looks at their new Low Azlanti friend, "We will try to find your fellows, or at least help to clear out the dangers for your future visits."

Faerin takes a look at her armor and concurs with Haku's accessment. She's not very quiet and she knows it.

The cave’s damp air becomes increasingly stale as you continue down through this tunnel, and the stench of decay grows increasingly evident. The passage turns to the east and opens into a small cavern littered with bits of broken glass, rotting pieces of paper, and other unusable detritus. Sneaking forward, Ruin and Daijiro look in upon a macabre scene.
A decomposed body lies face down toward the back of the cavern. Standing around, staring off into walls, are four skeletons.

Ruin goes from silent to deadly in a flash,he drops into his snake stance(swift), then move forward to punch one of the undead creatures in the ribs before they could act.

Faerin hears the sound of combat Humming FF7 battle music and wades in after her companions.

Faerin's humming causes Haku to break out in a bellowing laugh, "No, no, my stout friend. It is done like this..."
The islander begins singing a battle song from his homeland and soon, his friends find themselves gently bouncing in rhythm!
Inspire Courage: +1 competence bonus to atk and damage; +1 morale bonus versus Fear.

Most of the group prepares for battle, but Ruin charges in. Unfortunately, his hasty attack misses.
Once in position Selkin unleashes a burst of positive energy that leaves all the skeletons cracked and smoking, but none succumb to the power of his god.
The skeletons raise claws and move to attack. Ruin dodges away from two of them, and Leonides fends off most of the claws reaching for him, but one manages to get through and tear into arm.

Releasing a flurry of attacks, Ruin punches foe 1 then if it falls, moves to foe 4. His fists hit hard bones but he seems undated by that fact.

Heh. Yup, you all forgot the pack.
Daijiro smashes one skeleton, Ruin takes down two more, and Selkin finishes off the third.
COMBAT OVER. Wow, that was fast.
A cursory look around the cave discovers a note on the body that details plans to start an army of undead made from the “fish people” who have been frequenting this cave. The body also carries a magical longsword and a magical pearl.
If you want to search further, roll perception checks.

Yea. We forgot the pack. Faerin being last in the initative order and thus last the leave the room, will thank the gillman.
Upon receving the gift, Faerin bows low.
"Thank you for your gift. We'll see that it is put to good use."
Upon reaching the battle site.
"Yer Done???" in disbelief and a little disappointment.

Ruin seeing no one has the backpack of the halfing, and reading the note decides to make his way back to the entrance to pick it up and return. Tells you all to go on and he will catch up.
"We must find the source of this evil plan and laid it to rest."

"Yes the minotaur, maybe I'll get a few swings with me hammer. By the way, the gillman Uori gave us this."

Haku laughs again, as he watches the skeletons crumble to the ground, his song lingering in everyone's head.
I didn't forget about the pack. I figured that we were leaving it so that our friend would be able to find it when she finally came back to join us. ;)
