I would be alright with that as it certainly doesn't feel broken. Hadn't though much on it since the handcrossbow can't fire multiple times in a round due to the reload. Same with the returning dagger as it doesn't return until the end of the turn. Fearless does plan on using most of his funds into another returning dagger, rapid reload feat, as well as Rings of tactical precision.

After healing some wounds and giving the Mariner a minute to catch his breath, the Watchmen advance further down the promenade, entering a large cave-like plaza with strange stone buildings built into the walls.
Cracked bones of numerous shapes and sizes cover the floor, piled into grisly, jagged dunes. A solid square building, a mausoleum you believe, juts from the bones in the center of the plaza, surrounded by a low circular wall of gray stone.
As you enter the area a towering grey-skinned menace suddenly slips forth from the shadows behind the central mausoleum. Well over twice the height of a tall man, its head is little more than a line of jagged teeth in a horrible, vertically aligned mouth. It is otherwise humanoid in shape, but has powerful arms that split at the elbows into twin clawed hands that rend the air in anticipation of violence as it lunges toward the Watchmen.

This is a kind of aberration called a gug.
Gugs are inhuman monstrosities that dwell in the deep places of the world. Whether they were banished to the dark lands by ancient gods or the light-loving races they terrorized, or perhaps were brought to the deep realms by dark powers from some even more inhuman nightmare realm, is unknown, but gugs are loathed by other races for their carnal rites of slaughter.
Gugs are 16 feet tall and weigh nearly 2,000 pounds, but they move with an eerie, unnatural gait as though their limbs contained far too many joints. They can contort and distend their limbs for greater reach or to wriggle easily through impossibly small passages. Gugs may cling for long hours to cave walls or just within dark side-caverns, lying in wait for prey to stumble too close. Their senses are keen, however, and their joy in the bloody hunt is considerable and gugs who catch the scent of blood may stalk their prey for long days, even venturing at times beyond their caves to dare the bright lands of the surface in search of tasty meat to drag back for their horrific sacrifices.
Gugs are savage fighters when driven by a strong leader, but on their own may flee if brought to fewer than half their hit points, carrying off fresh meat for later feasting if they are able. They can subsist on fungi, slimes, and molds as well as carrion and even undead flesh—particularly that of ghouls.

The gug topples, shaking the dreamworld earth with its mass. Cats fires arrows as quick as his can, but none penetrate the monsters thick hide.
The gug flails for a moment, then sweeps a limb up at the Mariner.

The sounds of battle echo throughout the ruins of the city. It would seem the ghouls have been delayed by fights elsewhere.
Cats approaches the small, squat mausoleum. It sits on a raised dais in the middle of a fountain that has long since dried up and is now heaped with bones. The image of a leering ghoul’s face with a long canine snout and a haughty expression is carved on the stone door to the mausoleum.
Inspecting the door he notices the faint runic markings of some kind of magical trap.

Hmm. magical trap. Not much I can do to mess with it. I'll focus on it. Maybe I can even look beyond the door to see what is inside, but I imagine there's no light -so I won't see anything.
Even though he says it, he concentrates with his divine helper to see what type of aura it might have.
cast detect magic. Focus for 3 rounds. if that doesn't gleen anything. Work on Doorsight.
He also hands the wand of CMW to Fearless. Maybe the guy can heal up Mariner during this time.

Fearless steps up to the task at hand. Licking a finger, he makes to rub away a rune that seems painted along the edge of the door. Sensing an invader in his wheelhouse, Cats pulls up next to him and offers some back-alley advice.
There is a brief argument about the nature of magical cats, followed by one of them letting out a foreboding “Uh oh...”
Ghostly hands emerge from the door, grasping at the two would-be tombraiders!
