Is this all pathfinders do anymore? It seems we are glorified file clerks these days
DM Rah
Shel and Peri are completely baffled by the odd filing system, but Haris takes one look and sees the trick, one often used in Sczarni operations to confound rivals and authorities alike. He quickly finds the desired shipping records Shel was seeking.
1 faction mission completed for team Taldor/Sczarni. 1 more to go.
A short time later you ascend and report to Novaria. She is very happy with you for handling the situation and offers the favor of House Cartahegn to you in return. This favor manifests in a few ways. First, given the massive discount the House grants the Pathfinder Society, you can pocket the difference between the discounted amount and the amount the Society provided to purchase the supplies you were sent for. Secondly, you gain the Favor of Cartagegn, which might come in handy at some point down the road in your roles as Pathfinders. Third, earning House Cartahegn’s favor also buys your cover as merchants and mercenaries some credibility in Bloodcove.

If there are any treats prepared, Shel will purchase enough for everyone.
DM Rah
Overhearing the discussion of sugary treats, Novaria brings you to a private tasting room in the post next door and offers the finest pastries and sweets House Cartahegn has to offer, all free of charge. A few hours later, after gorging yourselves and sleeping off a food coma, you find yourselves back on the streets of Bloodcove, heading to the Sanguine Pit.
As you leave House Cartahegn, Peri drops character for a moment, garnering a few raised eyebrows from other patrons, but Novaria's personal farewell seems to dispel any real suspicions.

In the fading illumination of twilight you arrive at the Sanguine Pit. Built along a pier hanging over the river, the place is already crowded with patrons and gamblers.
The clamour of cheers and shouted bets drowns out any intelligible sounds in this large, crowded bar. A massive aquarium, fifteen feet on a side, dominates the room as a dog-sized lobster creature and a dark green, man-sized fish with fanged jaws circle one another, occasionally trading blows. Heady, pungent smoke fills the air, and the floor is slick with spilled drinks and seawater.
Near the central tank stands a well-dressed and well-rounded woman with raven hair. Towering over her, at seven feet tall, stands her idealized, amazonian reflection. Both women bear a curious glowing rune on their foreheads. The bookies clearly defer to the smaller woman, and everyone keeps their distance from her glamorous bodyguard.

"Well, she is but one of the poisoner's of Bloodcove's proverbial wells, so I have absolutely no issue preventing her from ruining other families as she is doing with Senzer's. That being said, we need to find a cure first and foremost so that we can move on to our true mission."

I was honestly just thinking of doing that as a joke. :)
"What do you say you and I just waltz right up and do that?" as he starts making his way to the woman.

"Hey Ichon, don't suppose we could talk to you about a private matter, away from this crowd, could we," Shel asks waiting to see exactly how Yanos plans on approaching her.
DM Rah
Ichon tilts her head to peer down at Shel, a response mimicked by the creature that shares her likeness. Up close, the differences are more apparent between them. Ichon is soft and plump with an almost petulant smile. She wears a chain shirt and carries a fine morningstar hangs from her belt. Her double is muscled, regal, and seems on the edge of violence, though she is both unarmored and unarmed.
Ichon continues to smile, but it is the large woman who speaks.
"No." She says.

mostly like "Fair enough. Fair enough. We heard you where a stupid, weak coward that could barely manage to hold what she's got. Figured we'd give you the benefit of the doubt.", with a shrugg to say "hey we tried". "So, we got this friend. Sad story, we not going to get into. Anyway, we need his help, to do some, you know, actual work, but problem is, he says your a b!$+#. Sorry, witch. Sort of standin' in the way, peddling you pityful drugs hoping that the Consortiam holds off on that thing for a little bit longer and you can get back in their good graces or whatever. So, we are here to beat the information of exactly what you used and how it is cured from you. If you had been less an absolute, total, abyssally fatal MORON, well at least you could have saved face in front of your minions. Seems that is not going to happen now, and for some reason, I seriously doubt there is a man in this room that doesn't have some sort of grudge, some debt, or some little bit of leverage from you that they might to vanish." And I'll wait until she starts to respond by a few word that I really don't care about before I cut her off with, "Oh, and Erastil is not impressed at all, by the way. He said to tell you to "grow up and get a real job".", shaking my head in a sort of disappointment.

Shel smiles despite herself. She didn't pull her dagger yet, but assumed the others were maneuvering into various positions. If they could keep her attention a bit longer, perhaps the others could get to the actual lady.
"Why don't you just give us the cure and we can be on our way. Easy peasy."
DM Rah
The smile falters, becoming a mix between curiosity and annoyance.
"Friends? Poison? What are you babbling about? I would have Bellu here toss you out, followed by your teeth, but I am not sure if I should laugh at a bad joke or take offense." She touches the arm of the other woman, indicating the name belongs to her.

Ichon looks sharply at Bellu. "You are here for Senzer's boy. Of course, I have a cure." She plucks a vial from a pouch on her belt. "But the cost would be quite high."
