Sorry for all the posts yesterday just want to get this story moving. Now that we're getting into the meat of it a little what does everyone think?

Just to clerify this is where this AP gets a bit sandboxish. Right now the group can:

1)Explore the tools cash in the Restlands that professor lorrimore mentioned in his journal.

2)Speak with the Sheriff and try to get more information about the prison, the whispering way, and the prisoners or the professors death.

3)Check out the prison and try to see what killed the professor.

4)Check out the statue(Sim said he wanted to get a look at it).

5)See if anyone in city hall will give you access to their records.

No need to roleplay through Gwen's dream troubles unless you want to. She's ready to move on to meet the Father and grave-rob the restlands:)

@Sam: I'm not sure which scene is the correct one since you posted twice... I'd prefer if the first one was the correct one so I can keep my own post. If not, I'll have to change it since I made it assuming no one would change it. PBP is already a slow format of gaming and if we need to change our actions/posts to rectify when another player changes a scene that already finished, it will become even slower! No hard feelings though!

For a lot of roleplay situations there can be multiple people that wish to respond. If you carry a scene too far it might leave other people unable to do so. This is why it's often a good idea to leave things somewhat open-ended. In this case if Sim had just been walking towards the door as he talked things could easily be followed up on, maybe Sam could have crashed into him in the doorway or something.

I agree:) I also think it's fine to RP loose ends of previous scenes in spoilers even though we've all moved on.

What deity is Gwendolyn following?

I had trouble picking a diety for Gwen cause of her concept - sort of a "Puritan". I mean, LG but disciplines herself with pain!!? I was thinking she could just follow "the light" or whatever. But if others disagree I'm happy to pick some diety or philosophy, though I might need suggestions!

If necessary I can take a look through inner sea gods for a decent fit, but I am not opposed to an ideals Paladin.

I'm fine with following an ideal. I was just curious. One big advantage to following a deity, especially one of the core ones, is that you gets ton of fluff for free which gives more fleshed out characters. Of course if the personal practices of the character is different from the main church that gives room for characterization as well. More fleshed out characters/world leads to a richer and potentially more immersive experience.

Irori: Diety of self-perfection
Iomedae: Honor and valor
Shelyn: Purity as a form of beauty. Bonus points for being the sister of Zon-Kuthon. Maybe she in a twisted way follow both?

It's going OK. Feel like I'm getting strep throght but other than that its business as usual. How about you?

Brazil is sinking in endless corruption but apart from that, we are surviving around here!

I'm still trying to figure out of work is actively trying to chain me to my desk and falling or insidiously letting my guilt draw me back to the desk.

I had that at my house when I was younger... except it was christmas and everyone was better before then except me, got sick the day of.

Thanks for keeping everyone posted Gwen :). My wife has had several colds/ear infections this year so I know your pain.

In the interest of communication my step son and mother in law are visiting all this week. I'll still be able to post from work but I won't be on at all after that and I won't be able to post at all on Friday or this weekend. We also have drama going on with my sister-in-law who lives with us...so its going to be a very long and trying week...I thank you all for being here and letting me escape from reality for what ever brief amounts of time it takes me to post lol.

And yes this time issue in game is one of the many reasons to avoid splitting the party lol. Its fine though we can fix it I'm sure.

Thanks for letting us know, it's better than being left hanging indefinitely. What do we do now? Personally I feel we can function just fine with 4, though I would have enjoyed to read more about the relationship of the brothers with someone, but that could easily be NPCs...

I also agree that we should be able to work just fine with only 4 of us... after all, we have a cavalier, a rogue, a magus and an oracle. We could have Gwen to be called back home and, if she wishes to rejoin us in the future, she will be able!

This is reasonable to me. Ultimately mathpro has the final say, so it'll be worked out somehow.
