Kieran's watch passes uneventfully, and he wakes Asasha for her turn around 11 PM, settling down to sleep. Asasha's watch is likewise mostly uneventful, although halfway through her watch (a little after 1 AM), the jungle nearby goes very quiet. From the West, the sound of massive wings passes by overhead. A little after it disappears, the jungle noises slowly start up again. Nothing else particularly interesting happens during the night, and Asasha and Jack switch places at around 3 AM.
During Jack's watch, he spends most of his time whittling and cursing. In between splinters, his eyes go up to scan the darkness around the campsite. The only interesting thing that happens is the glowing occurring in the waves. It doesn't seem threatening, though so he lets it be. The sun comes up around 6, and Jack starts kicking people awake around 7.

Tadanu Esgalion |

Why did I have to be stranded with a dwarf? They are about as quiet as a herd of oliphants.Must you sing? You are likely to draw every beast in the vicinity down upon us. Maybe we should just keep moving to the east in silence for now until we know what's around? Tadanu asks a smile creasing his lips.

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

As the pincers reach for you, a kick to the ribs breaks you out of your doze.

Aerys Trajyon |

Aerys eyes fly open as he is touched. He rolls away in a panic, a spell half-formed on his lips. Seeing his companions, he calms himself with a deep breath. "My apologies. This place apparently breeds nightmares. It would seem the captain is not satisfied with merely inflicting his poetry upon us, but must now invade my dreams as well." Regaining his composure, Aerys shares the details of his dream. "As one who gives great credance to dreams, I can only assume that the captain and Iena were fully complicit in drugging our last meal to ease changing our course. I fear attempting to bail the ship may imply a futile activity in our future, however..."

Awakening to the violent thrust of Jack's boot, Asasha climbs to her feet, rubbing her bruised ribs and giving the crude man a withering glare. Streaching cat-like, she begins going through her routine of morning exercises, streatching and contorting her body and loosening her muscles for the day ahead. As she finishes her routine she squints at the cliff-top above the Jen', covering her eyes with her hand to get block the sun's glare....
Look there. she says Does that look like it might be someone? A tall one and,... a dwarf?

Tadanu Esgalion |

A grin spreads across his face as he looks at Gorbaz Sounds to me like they are looking for a tavern as well. Apparently everyone who lands on this island needs a drink. Lets see if we can find a way down? tadanu turns and looks to see if he can find a way down to the beach from here that is not to difficult.

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

The cliffs are reasonably rough and craggy, providing plenty of handholds to climb down the cliff-side. Using rope would make the climb easier still. Alternatively, you could so much the same as you did to get off the beach you woke up on, except in reverse. Follow the edge around until you reach the slope, then follow the slope down until you reach the beach.

Tadanu nods at Gorbaz's comments his hand resting on his curveblade ready for any sign of trouble. His eyes scan the surroundings looking for any signs that this is a trap

As they approach the other camp Our ship was the Tattooed Lady bound for Eleder. She broke up on the rocks just offshore about a half days travel toe the west of here. Where were you bound for before you wound up on this forsaken rock? How long have you been hear? He asks as he surveys their camp and the members of the camp.

Kieran The Myopic |

You could say so. I think it's been two nights since landfall. You could see we're probably luckier that many survived than just the two of you. We were bound for Eledar too, now it's naught due to the current circumstances. Right now I think we'd managed a foothold on this damned island. Next step is to get means to get off it.
Now we have a group of 12 survivors, how important is ration tracking enforced? Do we need assignments or rosters for camp?

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Rationing supplies will be tracked, as it is part of the adventure. Each unit of rations is enough to feed the average person for a day. There are several people in the group capable of gathering more foodstuffs and water from the surrounding jungle, and the NPCs can fulfill certain campsite roles depending on what they're each capable of and how much they trust you.

Gorbaz |

Wandering the god forsaken jungle with an Elf, or babysitting camp, not sure which is worse. Still, if we find any rum, I want a swig before Jask gets to it.
Gorbaz rises with a bear of a yawn.
"If I let you 3 wander off alone, imagine the trouble you could get yer selves into, bets i tag along."

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Nevah and Aberwhinge say they'll do what they can to hold down the fort. Nevah seems to have adapted rather quickly to the situation of being stranded, and sets about rigging snares and spike traps to defend the camp. Setting off along the path that the Explorer group traveled earlier, you reach the clearing where that group turned around the previous day around 10:30 AM. Derindi estimates it would take at least several more hours, likely a decent way into the afternoon, to reach the end of the peninsula.
