Male Mazinger-type Fan of Go Nagai level 38

PC will be in assistance for some days, and as such i won't be able to post.

Now it will be time to discuss how to get off the island.

Right now you have Tol, Gelik, and Jask at the camp. The other castaways Sasha and Aerys left the camp at first landing.

Female Elf Bard (Dervish Dancer) 4/Fighter 1

There's always swimming. ;P

We could try building a ship?

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

We could use the lighthouse and wait....Iolana will anyway vote for resting down a bit in the cannibal camp.
Sure we should try to find Sasha and Aerys.
There is the ship at the shrine that controls the tide, don't remember how it is called ; it is in good shape if i remember correctly, easier to repair it that to build a new one.

These are the items I had not yet posted, and a few things from the last room... I will go through gameplay and assemble a list of the things I've already posted

Quick runner's shirt
wand of mage armor CL5 24 charges
2 water elemental gems
Mnemonic Vestment
3 incense of transcendence
Acolyte Burial Masks - grant bonuses to Animate Dead (temples of good deities will likely pay you for handing these over.)
1 Restorative Ointment
Stormlure necklace

Dorf

Sorry yall, Been sicker than a old hound with a sinus infection. what's up?

You have a good deal of junk to sell... there are also gems and jewelry to sell.
You should be in pretty good shape cashwise to upgrade your gear when you return to civilization.

Gath - wrapping up the first book.

Female Elf Bard (Dervish Dancer) 4/Fighter 1

It looks like the Mnemonic Vestment is only useful to a spontaneous caster...like Syndlara. The Quick Runner's Shirt would also be useful for her, given that she relies so much on mobility.

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

How much to lvl 5 ? :)

How about now?
You are supposed to be level 5 shortly into book2, but I've added so much... and being one level ahead shouldn't be too hard for me to accommodate.

Oracle lvl 4 [ HP 26/34 | AC 21 T 12 FF 19 | CMD 17 | F +3 R +3 W +3 | Init +2 Per -2]

I remember the ship at the shrine that controls the tide, maybe that is our best bet.

Bloodgargler, how would you feel about a rebuild?

I'd like to make Truk a brawler from advanced class guide.

As a player who was stuck with a poorly made dragon disciple for 5 years... I won't deny you a rebuild. If anyone else cares to as well, that is fine as long as it is not a major change in class/role.

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

I'll begin working on Iolana's level.
Are we going to put to vote the dryad quest then ? I still think i want to leave asap.

edit:as lvl 5 feat what should be best ? I'm tempted by both Improved Initiative and Toughness. Also do you think there'll be need for item crafting feats ? more probable we won't have the time during book two to stop 10+ days to craft wondrous items but just in case .....

I think most do want to leave... perfectly fine. you can just come back when the dryad becomes a Grey Blight Haggalich, and the island is infested with high-XP abyssal monkey-dretches.

I would not say there is a need for crafting feats at all.
There will be time to craft if you wish to take a crafting feat, but no.. not many 10+ days. Crafting while adventuring is doable, it just takes longer.

Will post later IC but Syn's in favor of helping the dryad.

Truk wants to get off this rock but he could probably be talked into it.

Truk's all leveled and ready to kick some ass.

Eeesh nice. This is the first time I'd looked at kidnapper... Clean Capture is awesome.

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

What that "thatch eave " means ? I guess it is a write error but i cannot figure what it should be.

The eave is the part of the roof that hangs over exterior walls.

wikipedia cut-and-pastes

The eaves normally projects beyond the side of the building, forming an overhang to throw water clear of the walls

Thatching is the craft of building a roof with dry vegetation such as straw, water reed, sedge (Cladium mariscus), rushes, or heather, layering the vegetation so as to shed water away from the inner roof. It is a very old roofing method and has been used in both tropical and temperate climates. Thatch is still employed by builders in developing countries, usually with low-cost, local vegetation. By contrast in some developed countries it is now the choice of affluent people who desire a rustic look for their home, would like a more ecologically friendly roof, or who have purchased an originally thatched abode.

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

Sorry, never heard those terms.

They are not terribly common... I can see how both together would make context difficult.

These are examples.

Male Mazinger-type Fan of Go Nagai level 38

Figured out what they were reading Bloodgargler post thanks.

On another note:
Who knows this npc from Skyrim?
It is one of the highest level npc and a lvl 80 quest.
I started another Skyrim play some month ago, on the PS3 this time and have been some days i was waiting for him to come at me....that is, once i hit level 80, but was 83 today and still nothing, and i wanted so much to take him....down of course :)

Anyway, i already encountered him on the pc more than 1 and a half year ago and it was hard but i had to do nothing that time, once i got to lvl 80 he came and challenged me....this time i waited for him a month before reading that sometime he appears but doesn't seek out the player, so players have to guess what hold he is in and look for him, and today i found him.

So i get the quest to challenge him in his camp, take about an hour to plan what follower taking with me (Jordis from Solitude) and what equip to give her (crafted a full Daedric suit, all legendary double enchanted) and i'm ready ; go to his camp, approach him in stealth (he doesn't attack first unless the player tries to talk to him) and start the fight with a sneak attack......which killed him in one strike.

And i thought my char isn't OP just because i play on the PS3 so that i'm not tempted to use command consolles or exploit glitches......

If you want a challenge, play Skyrim on PC with the Frostfall, Realistic Diseases & Needs, and Requiem Roleplaying Overhaul mods. Requiem alone makes combat much more difficult, but add the other two to it and the whole game becomes even more so.

You guys should chime in in gameplay so we can get this show on the road.

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

Effectively the pace has slowed down a lot.

Shadow Lodge

Mook lvl 12

Sorry for the fewer posts, getting my behind handed to me by work this month. I will try to do better.

On the topic of games I had started Guild Wars 2 just a little before my work went nuclear... Wow what a beatifull game, I dont think I have ever seen graphics so pretty in my computer screen ever!

Yeah i'm suddenly pretty busy... will try to keep going, might be a little light until end of schoolweek Sunday.
I've been working on one class more than the other three put together... prof just told me "I can tell you didn't invest much time in this dialogue."

Male Mazinger-type Fan of Go Nagai level 38

Gatherine is also missing for quite some time. Hope E-terah is fine.

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

I dunno but am a bit worried about all those spoilers in the last GM's posts.

just random encounter checks... don't worry, I save all my low rolls for my PCs.

Female Dwarf Gunslinger 5(Pistolero)

SORRY!! I'M BACK!

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

Welcome back Gath, hope everything is fine.

Gatherine and Mugambi aren't leveled yet.

Female Dwarf Gunslinger 5(Pistolero)

Pistol Training (Ex)

Starting at 5th level, a pistolero increases her skill with one-handed firearms. She gains a bonus on damage rolls equal to her Dexterity modifier, and when she misfires with a one-handed firearm, the misfire value increases by 2 instead of 4. Every four levels thereafter (9th, 13th, and 17th), the bonus on damage rolls increases by +1. At 13th level, a pistolero never misfires with a one-handed firearm.

Hmmm. And we upgrade our hp how again?

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

half hit die +1 + con bonus
On a d8 hit die it is 5+con bonus.

Remember everyone gets a feat at level 5

Female Human (varisian) Magus 5

I don't remember if we know something about the creatures supposed to be the responsible for the taint of this island.

Aycenia wrote:
"Walking blight are nasty vegepygmies. They've completely wiped all green off the little island over there." Aycenia gestures to the northwest. "Good fungus removes toxins in the ground... this is no good fungus... leeches nutrients and turns everything slimy grey. Blecch..."

That's about all you've heard. That and Kekkaw mentioned seeing them by the Pearl Bed.

Female Dwarf Gunslinger 5(Pistolero)

Geez this not having internet and polar vortex is really cramping my gaming

Male Mazinger-type Fan of Go Nagai level 38

My copy of Dragon Age Inquisition (PS4) is coming via courier, it is about 2 years i wait this day and the more time passes by the more excited i get.

I need to pick mine up from the store (pre-ordered for PC, because I hate EA's Origin launcher)...but I'm wrapped up in World of Warcraft's new expansion and who knows when I'll get to DA:I. xD

Garrisons for everyone!

The garrisons are actually pretty fun. I just wish my blood elf wasn't stuck with a Horde garrison. (I'd much rather be Alliance as a high elf.)

Male Half-Orc Druid 8/Cleric 1 | HP: 116/116 l AC: 26 (30 with buffs, 32 vs the first 3 attacks per round) /T: 12/FF: 24 l Fort: +15*, Ref: +5*, W: +14* l Init: +0 l Per: +15; Low-light vision l Movement: 30 *Hardy: Gain +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison, spells, and spell-like abilities *Familiar:51/51

Pfft. Go horde or go home.

My orc is so pretty.

Male Mazinger-type Fan of Go Nagai level 38

Talking 'bout WoW i guess ? Never played it, but i'm not a mmorpgs fan.
