In the mists of the haunted nation of Ustalav, a dark conspiracy stirs. The death of a trusted mentor is the first clue that will lead to the gates of death, and beyond.
Melk took a sunrod (he had one from the start of the game, in spite of his lack of familiarity). I don't remember if we drank any of the potions already.
2x Silver Arrow
5x Sun Rod
6x Flask of Holy Water
10x +1 Arrows
5x +1 Ghost Touch Arrows
2x +1 Undead Bane Arrows
5x Potion of Cure Light Wounds
2x Potion of Lesser Restoration
1x Scroll of Detect Undead
2x Scroll of Hide from Undead
1x Scroll of Protection from Evil
1x Darkwood Case
Could you maybe color the tiles in some way to indicate that we have/not explored particular areas and what we can see/know? That way it'll be easier not to accidentally know more than we should.
ok...there was an initiative, but no response. A few of us were playing catch up to the dread of entering the prison...and I think the Initiative roll was lost in the shuffle...or are we awaiting more dread.
I am having a bad day on the boards. I rolled a 20 to resist a dominate person, but since have had about 7 rolls all 5 or less, including a '3' to resist a charm person for the character that avoided the dominate. Funnily he started the bad streak by trying to bluff that he was in fact mind controlled and rolled a '1' with a zero bonus. Now he doesn't have to pretend.
Don't forget we still have five potions of CLW, so we're alright for now. I used my extract since AFAIK those only help me and can't be used on others until I get the discovery that allows me to use them that way, and I wanted the potions around.
As most of you saw in Kingmaker OOC, I'm going to be out of town for a few weeks starting on the 10th. I'll try to update when I can, but don't expect much.
I find I am unable to move my marker on the Harrowstone map. If I try to drag it, I get a forbidden symbol. Should I be cutting and pasting? Not sure. Any help is as appreciated as those healing potions were.
Thanks for that. The hand appears on the little strip above the icon symbol. And if I click on that strip I can move it. And I can change colors to the map, so I must have editing privileges. Just didn't know where or how to get that move 'hand' icon to appear.
heh - I was about to mention that you cannot try by using the convenient middle of the icon - - no no, you have to use hidden secret tech-fu edge-riding techniques ;)
This is a difficult time for me to go away on vacation. I'll be back on the 22nd, though. I guess CC has to go on hiatus for the meantime, as we're smack-dab in the middle of searching Harrowstone.

I am in Stockholm at the moment. I fly tomorrow to Newark, have a layover for a few hours, then finish my flight to Houston. I'll be wrecked by the flight and have to take care of coming home, so I won't be able to post on the 22nd. I have work on the 23rd, but will try to post by phone that night. My first opportunity to really get moving again will be the evening of the 24th. I really look forward to making progress on the TPK!
I'm going out of town for the next four days, taking the wife and kids to a family get-together, there will be internet but I'm unsure about how much time I'll have to post.
Azuk'ai is a spider squashing machine! We went quite a while without any combat. This one is turning out to be right on target: slightly dangerous, but not enough to threaten killing anyone. The fact that you're locked in, though...
FYI, once you get out of the Harrowstone and get a rest, all of you except Tanner will be advancing to level 2. (He didn't fight the zombies the first night, so he's a little bit behind. Only 200 points to go, so he may still make it.)
Did anyone want to make any changes to their characters for Ultimate Magic/Combat?
I've been considering Urban barbarian. It would have suited the original Aydan. But now it doesn't rage the same way, and losing himself is part of his story. But maybe he could become an urban barbarian at some point to represent gaining control?
This part of the Harrowstone has turned into kind of a meat grinder in terms of traps and combats. You'll be back in Ravengro soon, unless the axe kills you all.
Hey (again;) ppl. Sorry for dropping off the radar but I've been having issues with my internet connection, the wife accidentally pulled the power plug, twice, and I can't connect. I'm posting this from my mothers. Hopefully I'll have this resolved before long.
