Sorry all. I've gone from an ample amount of free time to working a 45 hour Monday-Friday week on my feet all day. In the 4 hours I get where i'm not asleep or at work i'm unpacking into my new studio flat.
Doesn't help i'm not yet doing computer work, which i'll be doing more of as time goes by. Slowdown shouldn't be too long, just need to get settled.

Just on an OOC note, the next few levels are planned to revolve around you delving this ancient structure further. I am happy to discuss tweaks to the story and potential hooks to get you interested in this, but it has to be a two-way process; co-operate with me please?
There is an awful lot going in in the background of the game and things your not yet aware of as PC's. The game will, I suspect, become far more sandbox-like at a later stage but for now its difficult for me to advance without the assumption you will continue to delve.
Admittedly, this post is primarily for Jakob :) but I think its relevant enough to post here rather than PM.
Jakob Mulle
No prob. I think not chasing down the ape molester is the wrong call but Jakob will stick with the group and delve within.
The important thing to Jakob is finding out what this thing is for/hiding.
Poking it with a stick i.e Qhude ( :7) ) is the second best way to get the info and that will be good enough to go on.

I will be leaving later today for a few days, meaning I will have no computer access until about Monday. I will give posting from my phone a try if I can connect to the internet, but even so, posts will be a bit on the brief side. Please DMPC Kieran as needed so as not to hold up the game.

F. Castor-
Reading through the Sentinel today on D20PF-
Divine Quickness (Ex)Starting at 4th level, so long as the sentinel carries his deity's favored weapon, he gains a +2 sacred or profane bonus on initiative checks. The weapon doesn't need to be carried in hand, but must at least be on his person and accessible enough that he can wield it with no greater than a move action.
I'm going to make the same ruling apply to your initiative bonus. It irks me that you need to have the blade out to react quicker. The Sentinel method is far more sensible.
Qhude
While Qhude's avatar is a bald Osiriani gentleman... he is not - from his appearance: Hair is cropped short, but remains in tight curls against his head.
There isn't exactly a plethora of good Mwangi avatars to choose from. Even Tebati is an outsider from the Darklands, and from memory N'bellocq is a Keleshite.
We've trod this ground before ;)
Ansha
I know, right? The way it just looms over your head, waiting...waiting... Like it's going to fall around your ears at any moment. Or the way it darkens and threatens to pour out its contents all over you on a whim, and maybe throw in a bolt or two of lightning to keep you on your toes.
That sky...just can't trust it.
Joana
We're going back into the pyramid in the afternoon following the nighttime attack. If you guys are waking with the dawn, you've already been left behind. ;)
And Qhude didn't even say he was going to look for Kieran. Mark indicated above that he'd deal with the rest of the token-gathering in flextime.
Ansha
It's still nighttime, isn't it? If it is, then dawn would follow...and then afternoon would follow dawn, right? Or did I miss a time-lapse post in there somewhere?
EDIT: No, wait. I did miss that it was now the following morning by the time we had our debriefing with Morvius. I take no responsibility for that flub--I was just following Qhude's lead! ;P

We're not waiting on Okoya's character. I'm basically waiting on the Umkhaya to prep and enter :).
We aren't waiting on my character, my character is waiting on you all. :)
Alex has my intro worked out... just need the party to trigger the event. ;)
Qhude
Qhude wrote:"...move away in search of Jakob."andQhude wrote:"After seeing each of the umkhaya in turn to make his request..."Nicely done. Jakob is an elision. Have to add that to his occupation tab.
First quote was what he was doing in real time.
Second quote was what I put down to describe for AK what Qhude did - as in see everyone in the party then sleep.
As Joana indicated, the language is clear enough that he was going to see each and everyone in turn (as in Kieran after Jakob) but I wanted to give AK the broad strokes of what Qhude did so that we could move on from the morning and into the afternoon and into the ziggurat once more.
Though if Jakob is set on perpetuating himself as an outsider to everyone... he can always refuse the request.

Because Ansha has only contempt for mundane traps. A poison needle? Whatever. That's what the party cleric is for.
I would also remind her of Alex's house rules on the campaign tab.
Detect Magic Changes-
1. You must make a will save against an illusions DC+2 to realise it is an illusion and have its magical aura register while using Detect Magic. The increase in DC is to represent that your not really interacting with it in any sensory way (close inspection, using hands/hearing) as well as balancing a cantrip against higher level spells. This will save will be made by me in secret.
2. You will no longer be able to detect magic auras that are part of a trap until the trap is triggered. In the process of making a magical trap, part of the creation includes a permanent Magic Aura spell masking the aura. Resetting such a trap includes a re-activation of the Magic Aura spell.
