Where is the summoner? Morvius demanded, his eyes darting around the tent and his sword still raised. Seeing no visible threat, he addressed Qhude.

Saw the Anglican vicar of Baghdad at Asbury Theological Seminary last night. He does you Brits proud, AK--very British sense of humor. Working for peace in Iraq in the midst of terrorist bombings and the murder of his parishioners is no small feat, either.

I'll take that dagger if it's still on offer on Tebati's turn, Ansha; her other weapons are back in the tent.

It is. Made more sense for Qhude to take it and leave Tebati her goddess's favored weapon, but raging barbarians aren't known for their command of logic. ;P

Few reasons:
1) Trident seems more 'attack in two hands'-y than a longsword to me.
2) Able to be thrown if needed.
3) Choice between Tebati offering something and Ansha offering something :P

I figured it was 3) more than the other two, knowing Qhude.

4) Tebati's trident is masterwork for the extra +1 to hit; Ansha's longsword, I believe, is not.
5) Tebati offered before his turn in init; he would have had to delay to accept Ansha's offer. :)

I'd take the longsword if I could, but Tebati's not proficient. I mainly just want to be armed for the sake of AoOs, if the circumstance arises.

Ansha's dagger is masterwork, though her longsword is not. And I actually thought clerics weren't proficient with daggers either, til I looked it up (they weren't capable of using bladed weapons in 2e).

Seems an apropos moment to ask as he dashes off with a trident and a prayer: Might Qhude be considering converting to the faith of Shimye-Magalla? With N'bellocq leaving the party, it seems unlikely that she's going to get much use out of her Faithful Feedback trait, and it doesn't look like oKOyA's PC will be one of the flock.

Definitely a possibility - he'll have a new found sense of 'self' now that he's cast off the flayleaf. Wouldn't take too much convincing him if Tebati proselytizes a bit.

DM AK How are the horses tied? More importantly how can they be freed? Are they all/some on picket lines that could be cut? Or is each horse hobbled individually?

He's already updated Slumbering Tsar and Kingmaker so we ought to be next in line. I'm giving him a pass since we were the last game he updated before his brief hiatus ... then again, Slumbering Tsar got two updates today. :P

I do not want to think about how high level the summoner is but I am very glad for the long duration.

Metawise... I wouldn't generally try and second guess me. I have a bigger toolbox than players get. Suffice to say, resources were tracked.

My assumption was that the rod/staff he had may serve as an Extend Spell metamagic rod or similar. Will post when I get home in a bit.

You didn't recognise the man but he seemed to be wearing quite an elaborate tribal outfit, complete with a headdress. You could barely see his face.

Ansha is convinced it was Kamishah; not that she saw the shaman at all.

She couldn't finagle him into a compromising position, despite all her tricks; there must be something uncanny about him. ;)

I so want to needle Morvi-baby for running a poorly designed and under defended camp but that blasted self-preservation instinct keeps getting in the way.

From what he had to work with in a fairly short time (completely overrun dense jungle and a building whose perimeter dwarfs most fortifications), objectively the camps fairly well defended. But clearly an attack from within that would distract the actively patrolling guards was not considered.

I am sure he did what he could. How many people are in the camp all told anyway?

I do wonder at the lack of internal guard patrols, lack of guards at the Ziggurat entrance, lack of watchdogs, and lack of armored coats for the quick response squad.

But then dog's are expensive and armored coats may be cheese.

They don't even get masterwork weapons, let alone these armoured coats you speak of ;). Albert's squad only have masterwork Terbutje's from your trip with them. Well the Ziggurat entrance is visible from almost any angle at the camp. Dogs would have been nice :).

Theres a count in the Campaign Info tab, for the camps numbers. Its been updated for the losses.

Don't mind. I barely ever use it but people tell me it helps with jobseeking nowadays... so i'm trying to bring myself to update it and set it up properly.

Well over half the jobs I am looking at have automated application process that scrape your linkedin profile for basic data.

It may not help one get a job but it really speeds up rejection.

I have frankly assumed that she got dressed in the aftermath. Whether ordered to or not.

What can I say? She might have a bit of an exhibitionist streak. Although maybe describing it as kneeling or crouching would have fit my mental image better; the emphasis was supposed to be on the cat-ate-the-canary smile enhanced by her lack of concern with human social taboos.
